Vanna Responds to Plastic Surgery Claims After Love Island USA
Speaking on the Viall Files (via Us Weekly), Vanna said "It was really, really hard seeing all of it. I was in the hotel with Coco and [she] was getting a lot of love while I was getting a lot of hate. I had a moment where I just broke down crying. I'm honestly so grateful for Coco that she was there because she sat and prayed over me."
Vanna went on to hit back at certain claims about the work she's had done, saying "I'm OK, I'm very secure in myself. Most of the things that people thought I got done, like my cheeks and my chin and my lips — lips, duh, I got my lips done. I like my lips. But my cheeks and my chin, born with it.... You guys are calling me out for things and saying that I have filler in things, but I was born with it."
She then denied getting her butt done, and said "Of course I got my boobs done. I'm just a girl."
The reality star also revealed that she slept on a feather pillow that she was allergic to during her time on the show, a "woke up every day [with] my whole face swollen" as a result.
FYI, Love Island USA has asked fans to be kind to the contestants, and even issued a message on Twitter saying "We appreciate the fans, the passion for the series, and the amazing group of Islanders who are sharing their summer with us. This season, things took a turn when Huda got on top of Chelley's partner, Ace, during the challenge. Tension was high, and things escalated to the point that—during another challenge—Chelley, Olandria, and Cierra Ortega called Huda out for 'not being a girl's girl.' Once she and Ace were dumped from the Villa, Chelley told Variety that she 'needed space' from Huda after her moment with Ace. 'We all stand on being a 'girl's girl' and having each other's backs. At that moment, I didn't feel like that's what happened,' she told the publication, confirming that things are good between her and Huda in the aftermath. She went on to add, 'We're friends. I just needed my space from her, but now everything is good. We understand each other. Boundaries were set.' However, Amaya seemed to come to Huda's defense when she was asked if she 'took it too far' during the heart rate challenge during a July 16 appearance on Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast. 'Whenever we do challenges, we really just go all in. We don't have a TV, we don't have our phones. This is our entertainment, like, okay, we're in an amusement park! Let's just go for a ride,' the season 7 winner explained. She continued, hyping up Huda in the process. 'Listen, one thing about my girl is she's a great dancer. When she shakes that booty, it's an earthquake falling through. So, you know, I believe that she really just had fun,' Amaya said.
