In a special episode to celebrate the series' 10th year, iconic couples and ex-Islanders looked back at some unforgettable moments on Love Island: A Decade of Love.

And there one one particular scene from series one that left viewers doing a double take.
Former contestants Hannah Elizabeth and Jessica Hayes sat down to remember some of the highs and lows from their series back in 2015.
During her time in the villa, Jessica grew close Max Morley and TV personality Mark appeared as a guest on Love Island, where he encouraged his pal to ask Jess to be his girlfriend.
While watching the throwback clip, Hannah gasped: "Mark! I forgot about him, when he came in.
The scene showed Mark approaches Max and asks him whether he sees a future with Jess.
"To what level would you say you're falling for Jess?" Mark asks.
Max then revealed he'd been planning to ask Jess to be his girlfriend, to which Mark suggests: "Why don't you do it now while I'm here, I'd love to be here when that happens?"
Mark calls Jess over and says: "Jess, I'm only in here once and I have to go soon. I spoke to Max and while I'm in here I would like Max to say what he wants to say..."
Max then tells Jess: "I know things move forward quickly in here, and it's a little bit weird for me, but would you like to be my official girlfriend?"

Jess was over the moon and said:" Yes!"
Those watching at home were equally surprised, with some younger fans completed unaware Mark was ever a guest.
One said: "Mark Wright was on Love Island???!!"
A second wrote: "I had no idea Mark Wright appeared on Love Island, I'm probably too young for the old series."
"Wait! Mark Wright had a cameo on Love Island?! I never knew that," a third added.
Jess was crowned winner of the show with ex Max.
But they went their separate ways, and she ended up dating Zeb, who she later got engaged to.
Jess and Zeb started dating in 2021 after they met through mutual friends.
Their romance came after Jess split with her baby daddy fiancé Dan Lawry.
Jess and Zeb got engaged in 2022.
Jess revealed that she was pregnant with her second child in December last year.
The reality star shared the happy news after suffering a devastating miscarriage in 2023.
But now it appears Jess and Zeb have split after the reality recently posted a poignant video with her beautiful children.
She captioned it: 'Life update. POV – starting over with your babies trusting in the universe everything will be ok.'
Jess shared a clip inside a new home and unpacking boxes.
She twirled around in the kitchen, while also videoing her little ones.
Jess also showed off black and white photos she'd put up on the wall in her new home, including one of her baby bump and others of her children.

Strictly Come Dancing star Shirley Ballas has taken part in a tattoo charity fundraiser to help raise money and awareness for the anti-suicide charity CALM Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas has got a tattoo in honour of her late brother - and to raise funds for a mental health charity. The 64-year-old TV star was left devastated in 2003 when her brother, David, took his own life at the age of 44. Shirley has discussed her love for her brother and her sadness over her loss in the past - as well as highlighting the fact that he struggled with depression in order to help others find the help they need. On Saturday, the dance expert got a tattoo of her late brother's first and second initials as well as his last name, Rich. Taking to Instagram, Shirley posed alongside tattooist Tal Booker, 31, the brother of Love Island star Eyal Booker, 29, and showed off her new inking. She wrote alongside the post: "A tattoo for my brother… thank you @talbooker honoured to be tattoo number 2 of 24 in your @calmzone #TattooAThon." Shirley previously discussed her loss on the Great Company podcast, revealing her family battled to have her brother get help before his tragic suicide. She said: "I was wrapped up in my life, because at that time, I had two other children I was taking care of, plus my own son, and they were all dancers, and I was just wrapped up in my world of ballroom dancing. "I was in London. He was up north, and my mother went to stay with him for six weeks. But my mother's old school, and they don't share. So, what I should have done then, if I look back now, is gotten the car straight away and gone to see the situation for myself. He was just in a bad place. "He explained it like being in a dark, black hole that he couldn't climb out of. He'd lost a lot of weight, and the doctors couldn't help him. "We tried to get him sectioned, and when, apparently, I wasn't there, but my mum was. When they took him in the car and they pulled up to the hospital, he recognized somebody that was stood on the steps, and he was too he was the macho man on the housing estate, and he was too embarrassed, he made them turn the car around. "So had she not been there that day, then maybe things could have been different. And it just nobody talked about things like that. No one talked about things like that at all, and they just popped in with pills, you know, like these antidepressants." And expressing her sadness over David's death, she said: "'I still remember the morning it happened. I call my mum to say that Mark, my son, would be performing at St Paul's church in London, and maybe they both like to come down for the day. "And my brother said, no, no, no, no, I'm feeling much better now. But you go mum, and against her better judgment, she didn't want to go. And I pushed her to go a little bit because she'd been there, you know, and was having this tough time. David didn't want to go, and it was that they chose to do that. "So, for that, I will live with for the rest of my life. She blames herself, but I blame myself because I was the one pushing her to go. She felt she shouldn't have left." Meanwhile, Tal has set out to raise funds for the anti-suicide charity CALM where he has planned to tattoo 24 designs within 24 hours. He explained via Instagram previously: "The most likely thing to kill a young person is themselves, and around 18 people day in the UK die by suicide. One of the ways we can change that, is by talking about it. "That's why I've teamed up with @calmzone to do a 24 hour tattoo-a-thon on the 7th and 8th June. Yesterday James' ex-girlfriend Nicoline Artursson hit out at his "controlling ex" for causing major issues with their ill-fated relationship. 5 5 5 In an 800-word statement, Nicoline finally spoke in depth about the domestic abuse she suffered at the hands of James, 37, last month. The Swedish beauty. 32, queen was injured after being pushed down steps outside the home they shared in Spain. He was arrested and spent several hours in police cells before admitting a charge of domestic violence in court. Nicoline has claimed former Towie star Lydia - who dated Arg on/off between 2007 to 2016 - was an unwelcome, interfering presence during their year together. Earlier today, Lydia, 34, took to Instagram to share a card that she received from her parents Debbie Douglas and Dave Bright. The message read: "We are so proud of you. Keep your face to the sun and keep shining. Mummy and Daddy." In front of the card, it said: "Keep shining bright." I opened the door to let him in and only minutes after I found myself laying down on the stairs outside our house. My clothes and belongings were being thrown out from the balcony down on me. I was injured. Thanks to incredible neighbours who heard and saw what happened and acted, I got help. They called police, brought me to safety and ensured the incident was taken seriously. A gentleman does not abuse you and end up in jail and call you the love of his life. A gentleman does not blame you for his actions. A gentleman will confide in his partner, family and close circle of friends, keeping them close and safe. A gentleman chooses you always and leaves the past in the past - including exes. Life is to be lived together and not to please people who want to take advantage of you. At the end of the day, fame can only do so much - it's all about being strong and growing together. Life is simply not a reality TV show, life is real. I have tried to understand why. I have cried so many tears thinking about the way he chose to hurt me. He said he loved me and I believed him and here we are. There is now a legal record of what happened. Violence has no excuse - no matter how much love preceded it. To those who questioned me for staying as long as I did: I stayed because I believed in love. I believed he and we could grow, could heal, could choose peace. But love doesn't survive in chaos. And it cannot survive where violence lives. To every woman reading this: if you've ever questioned your worth, your safety or your sanity in a relationship - this is your sign. You deserved to be loved with care and integrity. And you are not alone. To the men: real strength is protection. Real love is safe. Be the kind of man who lifts women up - not one who breaks them down, neither by violence or silence. To the future: never say never. I will get the little family I've always dreamed of and have my dream wedding to symbolise and celebrate true love in front of my dear family and friends. I'm healing now.
