Maya Jama leaves fans completely torn as she shares huge Love Island update
Love Island host Maya Jama confirms the return of the hit ITV2 show with a cheeky memo as bosses gear up for a 10th anniversary special packed with iconic ex-Islanders and unforgettable moments Maya Jama has just dropped a major Love Island update – and it's sent fans into a frenzy. A teaser posted to the show's official Instagram has confirmed that the hit dating series will be back on screens very soon. The short clip features a printer churning out a memo that reads: "Attention: Love Island is coming soon. Attendance mandatory." ITV 's very own Maya, now 30, signs off the memo with her name and a kiss, declaring herself the "CEO of love" in the process. Naturally, fans exploded with excitement in the comments. One ecstatic viewer wrote: 'I've been waiting for this!!! It's not summer without Love Island.' Another added: 'OMG Yayyyyyy we are so back,' while a third gushed: 'Can't wait to see Maya on screen every night again. You've been missed girl.' However, others were left disappointed as they had been convinced that the series wouldn't be out for another couple of weeks. "I was thinking it would be back the first week of June, but it looks like it's going to be later," one wrote. Another added: "I can't wait anymore, I need Love Island back NOW." This buzz comes just ahead of a major milestone for the franchise – ITV2 will soon air a special episode marking ten years of the cultural juggernaut that is Love Island. Titled Love Island: A Decade of Love, the one-off retrospective will air on both ITV2 and ITVX. It promises to revisit unforgettable moments, track down past Islanders who became stars in their own right, and offer a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the series. Fans can expect to relive some of the show's most iconic moments – from dramatic dumpings and surprise arrivals to fairytale romances. Plus, exclusive interviews and throwback footage will offer fresh insight into how the show shaped modern reality TV and changed the lives of those who took part. As for who'll be stepping back into the spotlight, ITV has confirmed several familiar faces will return. Among them: Dani Dyer, Curtis Pritchard, and beloved duo Liam Reardon and Millie Court. Expect Georgia Steel to deliver her legendary "I'm loyal" line once again, and don't miss appearances from season two champs Cara De La Hoyde-Massey and Nathan Massey. Fan-favourite couples like Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan, and Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope will also update fans on where they stand now. More returning legends include Gabby Allen – fresh off a breakup with her All Stars partner Casey O'Gorman – as well as Hannah Elizabeth, Anton Danyluk, Whitney Adebayo, Catherine Agbaje, and Montana Brown, who recently welcomed her second child with fiancé Mark O'Connor. Reflecting on the show's legacy, Executive Producer Mike Spencer said: "We've had an incredible 10 years of love, drama and unforgettable moments in the villa – now it's time to look back and celebrate the icons who made it all happen." He added, "Expect big laughs and plenty of heart as we revisit a decade of Love Island magic." The anniversary special is set to air soon, serving as a nostalgic prelude to the brand-new summer series, which will return to Majorca this June. Meanwhile, peculation is mounting among fans about the exact launch date of the upcoming series. Many believe it could premiere on Monday, June 9th, while others argue that based on previous years, it should be Monday, June 2nd, following the Bank Holiday. The lack of official promo has only fueled debate, with some convinced there's been a delay.

Love Island All Stars hit with over 2,000 complaints over ‘bullying' behaviour
Over 2,000 complaints were made to Ofcom about alleged ' bullying ' behaviour on Love Island All Stars over the last week. The reality dating series presented by host Maya Jama returned for its second season earlier this year, with a host of ex-Islanders returning to find love. But this year's series was arguably packed with more conflict than romance, as Islanders butted heads on everything from DMs sent outside the villa to WhatsApp screenshots. The disorder continued in a chaotic live final in which more accusations were flung across the garden. Casey Gorman and Gabby Allen were begrudgingly crowned the winners, shocking fans. The broadcasting watchdog said the complaints were predominantly about alleged bullying by contestant Elma Pazar, after The Only Way Is Essex star was involved in a heated row with Ekin-Su Culculoglu and her partner Curtis Pritchard. Last Wednesday's episode (12 February) sparked 1,347 complaints while Tuesday's (11 February) episode received 820. Episodes broadcast on 13 February and 16 February picked up received 63 and 57 respectively. On Wednesday Ekin-Su confronted Elma about a challenge in which the Islanders were able to ask the public a question. Elma chose to ask the public whether Ekin-Su and Curtis were the weakest couple in the contest. The public voted that they weren't. However, the former Love Island winner was unhappy that it had been asked in the first place. Elma defended herself as she reminded Ekin-Su that she had kissed her partner Sammy Root in the steamy heart-rate challenge, in which Islanders perform dances for each other. The Towie star told dancer Curtis to 'shut your mouth' and 'f** off' while her partner Sammy doubled down, both refusing to apologise. Ekin-Su suggested Elma had been over-confident since she had been revealed as the public's favourite after a messy triangle involving rekindled couple Harriet Blackmore and Ronnie Vint. Although the pair denied that the grudge was 'personal', Elma was later seen both angry and laughing at the same time as she admitted that she has never liked Curtis. 'He's not my cup of tea,' she said. 'He's not even my cup of p***'. 'Stop voting for us in every single game, and mocking us and laughing at us,' Ekin-Su hit out at Elma while she smiled. Earlier on, the Islanders had laughed at Curtis for saying 'No sh*t, Sherlock.' Love Island narrator Iain Stirling hinted at the uncomfortable scenes, which saw Elma's popularity completely flatline on social media. 'I've always really liked Ekin-Su and Curtis,' he told Lorraine. 'And I was like a little bit of an outsider at school and stuff and I don't know, I watch as much as you, but it does feel like there's this weird energy there, where they don't gel with the group as much. I don't quite know why. But they do feel like outsiders.'

Love Island All Stars viewers left shocked after 2025 winners crowned
Love Island All Stars fans were left shocked as the show's unlikely winners were crowned on Monday (17 February). Harriet Blackmore and Ronnie Vint were unceremoniously dumped from the South African villa on Sunday (16 February) by former contestants who flew over to share their thoughts on who was compatible. It left Catherine Agbaje and Omar Nyame, Casey Gorman and Gabby Allen, Luca Bish and Grace Rosa, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Curtis Pritchard, Elma Pazar and Sammy Root in the final. After a huge blowout with Ekin and Curtis, fan favourite Elma and her partner Sammy fell from grace and finished last as the vote results were announced. Catherine and Omar finished fourth, with Ekin and Curtis in a respectable third place after a rocky journey. Luca and Grace, although receiving the loudest cheers in the studio during the live final, finished as runners up. Casey and Gabby were announced winners of All Stars 2025. It marks Casey's third attempt at the show after first appearing in season nine in 2023, as well as starring in the inaugural season of the spin-off All Stars last year. During the show's run, he was often accused of chasing 'clout' as aspersions were cast on his intentions for joining the dating programme repeatedly. Ex-Islander Kaz Crossley called him out for the way he handled relationships outside the villa, with former fling Tina Stinnes saying she was hurt by his behaviour after they spent a night together in the real world. But Casey found something he says he had always been looking for in season two star Gabby. The pair's journey was smooth sailing throughout, with barely a bump in the road. 'So rigged', said one fan as the results were announced. 'I watched Love Island All Stars Season 2 religiously just for Casey and Gabby to win? This makes no sense', said another sharing a gif of a man smashing his TV. 'They gave absolutely nothing', complained another. However, others were more relieved that their opponents weren't crowned the winners: 'I'm so glad Luca and Grace didn't win.' Casey and Gabby's supporters, however, praised the couple for keeping out of the drama and focusing on their connection. 'Say what you want, but I'm actually really happy that Gabby & Casey won because they were drama free most of the season and managed to stay in the shadows and they gave me no reason to dislike them', added one supporter.
