The Al Dhahirah Governorate Police Command arrested an Asian national from the Wilayat of Yanqul for smuggling a large quantity of banned cigarettes inside his vehicle.
The North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command arrested three people for stealing electrical cables from a commercial store in the Wilayat of Al Khabourah.
The North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command also arrested a man for stealing livestock from a farm in the Wilayat of Suhar.
The Muscat Governorate Police Command, in cooperation with the Special Tasks Police Units in Bausher and Seeb, seized 65 vehicles and arrested a number of people late at night for drifting and disturbing the peace and tranquility.
