Machine Gun Kelly speaks out on Megan Fox relationship after baby's birth

Daily Mirror21-06-2025
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly have been in an on-off relationship for quite some time but finally called it quits last year, but the pair recently welcomed their first child together
Megan Fox's ex Machine Gun Kelly has broken his silence on his relationship status after their daughter's arrival. The famous duo have been on and off for a few years but they called it quits for good last year.
However, the actress was still pregnant at the time and has since given birth to their daughter Saga Blade. The musician has been co-parenting their baby after they split over Thanksgiving.
But he has now spoken out about their relationship and where he and Megan stand with each other. Machine Gun Kelly, 35, appeared on Friday's Today Show where he spoke positively about his ex.
He said: "Megan is a great mom." He added: "She's killing it. I'm so excited." He then went on to talk about the sentimental meaning behind their daughter's name.
MGK said that Saga's name represents him and 39 year old Megan's experience of having a baby together. He discussed how the two of them went through a pregnancy loss.
He said: "Coming back again, disappearing, coming back again. She is an epic story. And that's what Saga means." MGK added: "I'm also of Norwegian heritage so that's the Nordic goddess of storytelling."
He then went on to talk about what he thinks his daughter might do in the future as he said he thinks she's got a "storytelling future ahead of her". MGK and Megan's relationship first began back in 2020 when they met on the set of crime thriller Midnight in the Switchgrass.
MGK popped the question in 2022. They then went on to split in early 2023 before getting back together.
Later that year Megan said that she had a miscarriage during their relationship as she made the sad confession in her poetry book Pretty Boys Are Poisonous. MGK also seemed to mention the loss in February 2024 in his song don't let me go where he sang: "How can I live with the fact / That my hand wasn't on her stomach when we lost the baby."
It was in November of last year that Megan announced that she was expecting their rainbow baby but the couple then split up just a month after the announcement. The on-off couple's daughter was later born in March.
Before being with MGK, Megan was married to actor Brian Austin Green for a decade.
The exes were together for 16 years in total and are parents to three sons Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, eight. MGK is also a dad to his daughter Casie Colson Baker who is 15-years-old and he shares with his ex-girlfriend Emma Cannon.

Sarah Jessica Parker admits to being 'weepy' as And Just Like That fans savage finale

Fans rallied around Sarah Jessica Parker in support of her final performance as Carrie Bradshaw after critics slammed the And Just Like That finale for being 'underwhelming' Sarah Jessica Parker has confessed she was left feeling "very weepy" after fans rallied to defend her final outing as Carrie Bradshaw in And Just Like That. ‌ The Sex and the City spin-off concluded this week after four years on air, bringing an end to Parker's decades-long journey as the relationship columnist. But the actress received an outpouring of love from her fans, critics were far less kind, calling the finale "underwhelming" and even a "waste". ‌ The episode, called Party of One, sees Carrie finally accept that she may end up single for good after the death of her husband Mr Big (Chris Noth) and a string of failed romances. ‌ Carrie rewrites the end of her first novel to conclude: "The woman realised she was not alone – she was on her own." Some viewers were happy with this final celebration of female independence, but others were particularly unimpressed by scenes showing Carrie surrounded by a host of new characters at an awkward Thanksgiving dinner, where she had very little interaction with her best friends Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis). Hannah J. Davies of The Guardian branded the episode "a sad, heavy-handed and far too faecal farewell", while USA TODAY's Patrick Ryan lamented that Carrie spent her final moments "in the company of strangers". Despite that, fans were quick to offer their support for the series finale. Influencer Evan Ross Katz took to Instagram proclaiming: "It was her. It was always her. And no TikTok repudiation or retroactive thinkpiece can take that away. Single and fabulous exclamation point. 'You're worth a million bucks, Bradshaw,' as Big once correctly noted." He continued: "As we say farewell to our million dollar girl (perhaps for forever or maybe just for now), single at long last thank God… take care of that heart, Carrie. (And maybe sell the townhouse.) Ta ta for now." ‌ Parker penned an emotional response to this display of affection for her character, commenting: "Very weepy xxx." Sex and the City first aired in 1998, and became a cultural touchstone thanks to its witty take on love, sex and female friendship. It ran for six seasons, spawned two blockbuster films, and returned in 2021 as And Just Like That. Despite Kim Cattrall's Samantha Jones absence apart from a brief appearance in season two, fans were delighted to see Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte back on screens. Showrunner Michael Patrick King has confirmed that the third season was the last, meaning Party of One definitely marked Parker's final appearance on screen as Carrie Bradshaw. But while Bradshaw's journey has come to an end, Parker's career is far from over. The 60-year-old actress is already working on her next project. She will be reprising her role as Sarah Sanderson in Disney's Hocus Pocus 3. Production is underway on the third instalment of the family-friendly franchise, which will also see the return of Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy as Sarah's witchy sisters. The film's release date has not been confirmed yet, but fans may have to wait until at least 2026.

What is Gary Lineker doing now? TV future after Match of the Day 'confirmed'

Gary Lineker is officially returning to TV – but in a radically different role from the one viewers have come to expect over the years. It comes as Match of the Day returns to screens tonight for its first episode since Lineker's departure, with Mark Chapman as host. The 64-year-old broadcaster and former footballer stepped down from the BBC earlier this year and presented his last Match of the Day episode in May. During his emotional goodbye, the veteran TV host choked up as he sat alongside co-presenters and fellow former football pros Alan Shearer and Micah Richards. But after hosting the sport highlights show for 26 years, Lineker's next adventure is set to be radically different. Lineker is set to join ITV's new gameshow, The Box. According to ITV, 'The Box sees 10 celebrity contestants transported to unknown locations before being released to face whatever game awaits on the other side of the door'. The synopsis continues: 'Every episode will see them face surprising reveals, unique games, and a compelling series arc – as each week two players will face The Duel, a dramatic show finale, which will see the loser leaving the competition for good.' In a statement after his next project was confirmed, Lineker said: 'I can't wait to host The Box. I've always felt right at home in the box on a football pitch, and whilst this is a different proposition, the fundamentals are similar. 'The contestants will have to quickly and masterfully work out how each game works, whilst also trying to get ahead of the competition to take control.' On what viewers can expect, he teased: 'It's going to be unpredictable and thrilling to watch, and I'm excited that I get to have a front row seat to all the action.' Lineker's new show, which is set to air in the UK in 2026, has already been greenlit for a second season following the success of its Norwegian edition, which has spawned several versions in other countries. And it's certainly got UK viewers intrigued, who took to social media following its announcement to express their excitement. 'It'll be fantastic to see him back so quickly', wrote @acotswoldvoice of Lineker's return to screens. However, others admitted their fatigue over 'another gameshow' being added to the broadcasting schedule, meaning Lineker might have to graft to win over cynics. The former Everton and Barcelona player announced his exit from the BBC during the early months of 2025 after he shared a post to his Instagram Story from the Palestine Lobby group, titled 'Zionism explained in two minutes'. His repost included an illustration of a rat, which has historically been used as an antisemitic representation of Jewish people, most notably in Nazi Germany propaganda. Lineker later 'apologised unreservedly' and swiftly deleted the post from his account, saying he was unaware of the reference and that posting it had been a mistake. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video After the former England striker left the Beeb but before joining the ITV gameshow, The Sun claimed that his prospective presenting gig on The Box would 'infuriate' his former employers. The publication reported that The Box had been gathering steam as TV networks search for the next answer to match The Traitors' dominance – see the latest attempt, Destination X. Touted as a possible successor to Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway on ITV after the Geordie duo put it on hiatus last year, The Box had apparently caused ITV to pursue Lineker for some time. The tabloid reported that ITV has been keen to snap up Lineker for some time and thinks this show, hailed as a mashup of I'm A Celebrity and SAS: Who Dares Wins, could be just the thing. A source told The Sun: 'The scheduling hasn't yet been confirmed, but filming takes place in the autumn, and the series is due to air early spring. 'It looks likely to get a Saturday night slot, though, but obviously it's all still to play for.' As well as Chapman, Gabby Logan and Kelly Cates will replace Lineker and share the presenting role on Match of the Day from the new Premier League season. More Trending Speaking previously, broadcaster Chapman, 51, said he doesn't expect there to be a great deal of change to the programme. 'I know people keep saying, 'Oh, this will change, or that will change'. I genuinely don't think anything will change,' he mused. 'It will still be showing all the highlights and having a little bit of a chat. So, if you're wanting a lot of change, I suppose you're going to be a bit disappointed by it. Is It Time To Give The Divisive Jeans A Second Chance?

As part of my job, I spend hours scrolling through websites, tracking what's trending and what people are adding to their baskets. One morning, I stopped in my tracks - there they were again: M&S was selling a pair of jeggings with 11,870 reviews, a 4.4-star rating, and 75% of shoppers recommending them, already running low in stock. Jeggings defined a particular moment in fashion history. Picture this: Spring 2010, they were the skinny-fit staple you wore with a Chloé Paddington slung over your arm and an Alexander McQueen scarf looped around your neck. But while they promised the stretch of leggings with the look of jeans, many fell out of love with them because they weren't as comfortable as we hoped, never mind the the endless adjusting and inevitable elastane fatigue. But the day we never thought would come has arrived, and, now, they've been reimagined. Today's versions are softer, more sculpting, and cut from fabrics that lift and flatter, with elasticated high waistbands for ease. One M&S reviewer summed it up simply, saying they had 'waited for these to come back into stock' and that they love 'the fit'. According to Megan, a stylist at Silkfred, the jegging's enduring appeal comes from 'comfort and ease of movement while still giving you the streamlined look of denim.' She describes them as 'polarising' because they sit in the 'in-between space of jeans and leggings' and can instantly conjure memories of the early 2010s - the era of over-styled club looks, heavy eyeliner, and dodgy digital camera snaps. Still, she pointed out that for anyone who loves the feel of leggings and wants skinny silhouettes back in their wardrobe, jeggings are 'an incredibly practical option.' On whether we're seeing a genuine revival, Megan links the resurgence to fashion's wider knack for anything nostalgic, saying that with retailers like M&S reintroducing them, more brands are leaning into the late-2000sand early 2010s aesthetic. She doesn't expect them to dominate denim trends - 'we never saw a jegging on the runway' - but said the rise of comfort-first dressing and body-contouring styles is helping them find their audience again. While Megan believes jeggings will always carry a nostalgic edge, they can be rendered a classic style if worn in minimal ways. Her advice? 'They can look timeless when styled in a minimal, elevated way. Perhaps a dark indigo wash or black jeggings with a crisp, oversized shirt, a blazer, and pointed flats. The key is keeping the rest of the outfit simple and avoiding the over-styled early-2010s look we remember from their first heyday.' In short, jeggings may never reclaim their 2010 peak, but in fashion, no trend is ever truly gone for good. 1. M&S, Ultra High Ankle Leather Jeggings 2. M&S, High Waisted Jeggings Indigo Mix 3.
