‘Distract Him, Do Something:' US Man Loses His Cool Over Crying Baby In Flight
Pat McAuliffe, a contributor for Barstool Sports, posted a series of videos from a delayed Delta flight where a baby could be heard crying in the background.
Travelling with kids can be tough, especially when they get cranky mid-air. A recent Delta Airlines flight episode took the discomfort up a notch when a baby's crying triggered a strong reaction from a fellow passenger, and an even louder conversation online.
Pat McAuliffe, a contributor for Barstool Sports, posted videos from a delayed Delta flight where a baby's wails echoed through the cabin. The aircraft hadn't taken off yet and reportedly had no air conditioning, compounding the frustration.
Visibly annoyed, McAuliffe captioned one clip: 'If your child is screaming on a flight (that's late with no AC and hasn't taken off yet @Delta), show it a f***ing phone. Brain rot the baby on TikTok until it's quiet. Is that too much to ask?"
He continued to chronicle the baby's cries throughout the extended delay. In a follow-up clip, McAuliffe wrote, 'I do feel bad for the parents, but at some point you gotta try something new… Walk him up and down the aisle, distract him, do something. It's still going on. Simply praying it'll stop is not acceptable."
In another post, he questioned whether the prolonged crying should be considered a 'medical emergency," as the child was crying for two hours. 'Also, why are these people not at least talking to their kid to soothe him? STAND UP AND WALK HIM AROUND," McAuliffe concluded.

Social media users were left divided on Mr McAuliffe's posts. Many users called out McAuliffe's lack of empathy, while a portion of the internet echoed McAuliffe's frustration, suggesting that parents should better prepare their children for flights.
'Sounds like you're crying louder than the baby," read a comment.
'As a parent of three, put on your noise-cancelling headphones and enjoy the flight. Those parents are in absolute hell," a comment read.
'I can guarantee you that the parent is stressing out way more than you flying by yourself with earbuds in. Grow up," said a user.
A user stated, 'I agree. This is the parents' fault. I have two and we can entertain our babies on the plane."
'Is it too much to ask to buy proper noise-cancelling headphones..?" another added.
An account remarked, 'Bro, if this is the worst thing in your life, consider yourself lucky. Man up and see if the mom is okay and if she needs anything. She is probably trying her best."
'A responsible parent would consult a pediatrician before the flight for tips on making a baby comfortable with flying," wrote another.
This incident comes months after a heartwarming moment on a Delhi to Bengaluru flight went viral. A couple traveling with their newborn thoughtfully planned something special for their fellow passengers. They anticipated that their baby might cry and cause discomfort to the travellers, hence they brought along a small hamper as a token of thanks.

The comfort packs included chocolates, ear plugs, and a sweet note apologising in advance for any 'in-flight drama' and requesting everyone's patience during the journey. Social media users were quite impressed by the wholesome gesture by the couple.

BTS' Jimin's influence goes far and wide. Ever since his debut as a part of the septet, he has managed to grab millions of fans, making him one of the most loved celebrities on social media. Countless hashtags going over billions of uses across Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok and more platforms, his imaginary world has managed another impressive feat. It was reported that among the many words added to the Cambridge dictionary this year, 'delulu' has been a fan favorite, made more palatable by Jimin's fans. Jimin boosts delulu 'sales' globally According to a JoongAng report, the BTS member's fans have made it more global and widely acceptable word online thanks to their constant and continued usage of the slang. Meaning, delusional, the initially funny implication has now been heavily linked to fandom culture and the spread of fan service. As per The Times of England (The Guardian), Jimin's fans birthed a viral TikTok trend, with them uploading his photos with the caption 'revealing my boyfriend', in a perfect example of the use of 'delulu' online. While many would ridicule it at the start, the word has now become widely acceptable and with its acceptance in the famed Cambridge dictionary, it's unlike to die down anytime soon. Jimin 's influence has not just made fans take on good deeds and spread social awareness on multiple topics, but also allowed them to engage in fun internet trends. Meanwhile, the singer is currently in Los Angeles with RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, V, and Jungkook, as the team works on their spring 2026 comeback album. His most recent social media update showed him going for a swim at a scenic beach in the US with his same-aged friend as they played around with a beautiful sunset in the background. Since leaving South Korea earlier in July, Jimin has been overseas filming and recording for the team's post-military album slated for a release in the coming year.

"Disturbing" Hidden Messages On Daughter's Dress Leaves Mother Horrified
A mother has alerted parents after discovering explicit, sexually suggestive messages inscribed in tiny letters on her young daughter's outfit. The outfit, which was embroidered with harmless images such as chickens, jellybeans, and bunnies, had dangerously mature undertones. Savannah, the mother, captured the terrifying event in a video shared on TikTok, according to The New York Post. When she looked over the attire closely, the lines read, "Want to have an Easter egg hunt under the covers?" and the cheeky implication for "two lips": "My tulips want to be on your tulips." One of the weirdest phrases, according to Ms Savannah, was, "You've been the best husband and friend a girl could have ever asked for," while another said, "Let's pretend we're rabbits and do whatever comes naturally." "This coupon entitles you to one free peep show," was even more explicit. Despite the outcry, several social media users suggested that there might have been an unintentional design or production error. Ms Savannah's online research assisted in identifying the garment's original owner, a small American retailer called Lele & Co. The brand responded quickly, taking the rare step of trashing all remaining stock, deleting the item from its website, and issuing an apology. In an official statement, Lele & Co. acknowledged that the offensive language got past their quality control without being reviewed and clarified that the garment was a resale item from an outside vendor. They also mentioned that the liable vendor had been sued and that they had initiated efforts to contact Savannah directly. "Despite the negative and hateful messages, they will not diminish the passion that founded this company. Lele & Co. is facing slander based on unfounded claims," the statement added. This comes after last year's widely shared controversy around a holiday T-shirt sold at Kmart with words like "kinda naughty," with "naughty' in sequins, enraging parents

Chris Martin to keep the Coldplay kiss cam at concerts despite viral Andy Byron cheating scandal
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is unfazed by the aftermath of the viral 'kiss cam' moment. The singer admitted that he has no plans to ditch the kiss cam at Coldplay concerts after the scandalous moment when he caught former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron allegedly cheating with the company's former HR chief, Kristin Cabot. Chris Martin spoke about the incident at Music of the Spheres World Tour' stop in England.(instagram) Chris Martin comes out to defend At Coldplay's Music of the Spheres World Tour stop at Craven Park in Kingston upon Hull, England, on Monday, the band's frontman Chris Martin playfully referenced the recent Jumbotron mishap that unexpectedly exposed the alleged cheating scandal between Byron and Cabot. 'We are so happy to be here. Many of you have written signs. So, I'll take some time to try and read some signs. Then we'll see what happens,' Chris said on stage, as per Page Six. One concert attendee shared that they attended the same Coldplay show in Massachusetts where the Jumbotron incident occurred, and Chris expressed gratitude to the fan for returning to another concert despite the controversy. 'You were at that Boston gig. Well, okay, thank you for coming again after that debacle,' he said. At that moment, Chris clarified that the embarrassing moment caught on camera between Byron and Cabot won't affect Coldplay's use of the Jumbotron to feature fans during their shows. Defending his decision, Chris shared, 'We've been doing it a long time, and it is only recently that it became a…yeah. Life throws you lemons and you've got to make lemonade. So, we are going to keep doing it because we are going to meet some of you.' More about the kiss cam fiasco The drama began during a concert on July 16 when former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron appeared on the big screen with Kristin Cabot, the company's ex-HR chief. Byron, draped in arms with Cabot, looked stunned as cameras landed on them during Chris Martin's Jumbotron Song. Cabot quickly turned away and covered her face, while Byron ducked out of frame. The Jumbotron kiss cam debacle unfolded at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. 'Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy,' Chris quipped, sending the crowd into laughter. Within hours, the clip exploded online, reaching millions on TikTok. Memes and commentary from celebrities, politicians, and even brands poured in. After the incident, Byron resigned from the $1.3 billion AI company. Meanwhile, Cabot also resigned one week later. Astronomer later hired actor Gwyneth Paltrow, Martin's former wife, as a 'temporary' spokesperson for the company.
