King Combs Gets Real: Never Stop EP and Life After Loss

Source: Reach Media / Urban One King Combs stopped by 'Posted on the Corner' to celebrate his latest EP Never Stop , and what started as a routine interview quickly turned into something much deeper. The young artist, son of Sean 'Diddy' Combs, showed a vulnerability we rarely see from him. 'ATL what's good? It's King Combs. I'm here,' he announced with his signature energy, but as the conversation progressed, we witnessed a more introspective side of the 26-year-old rapper. TRENDING STORIES: Turk Opens Up About Joseph, Hot Boys Legacy, and Overcoming Adversity Kirko Bangz Drops Gems on Growth, Authenticity, and 'Choose Self' Working with Kanye West on Never Stop was clearly a transformative experience for King Combs. 'He's definitely a genius, creative genius. And being in the studio with him and seeing how he creates the beats from scratch… sometimes the song be like reversed. You don't even know what he about to cook up.' We care about your data. See our privacy policy. The collaboration pushed King Combs into new creative territories, something evident throughout the EP's sound. He emphasized that every track was 'cooked from scratch,' resulting in what he calls 'straight heat.' Perhaps the most powerful moment came when discussing the track 'Kim,' dedicated to his late mother. When asked to describe his mood using a song from the EP, he chose this deeply personal tribute: 'I might have to go with Kim, you know, shout out my mom forever.' King Combs revealed this project marked a departure from his usual approach. 'On this tape I got a little bit more vulnerable than my other songs… I kind of dug a little deeper than I usually would.' The Houston-influenced, chopped and screwed production on 'Kim' provided the perfect backdrop for his raw emotions. The EP's title isn't just catchy – it's his life philosophy. When asked if he ever wanted to quit, he was emphatic: 'Never a moment where I wanted to stop. But during some rough times, dark times… that's what stood out for me – Never Stop.' This mindset extends to his advice for young fans facing similar losses. 'Know that they're still with you. My mom is my biggest fan, so I know she's still rooting for me and helping me and guiding me.' Beyond the music, King Combs teased upcoming merch drops and a Never Stop tour. 'We definitely doing a Never Stop tour. Be ready. ATL, watch out.' Never Stop isn't just an EP; it's King Combs' declaration that vulnerability and strength can coexist. Trap Queens Drop Game: Wright & Pearson's Prison-to-TV Journey

Source: Reach Media / Urban One The energy was electric when Angela 'Free' Wright and Felicia 'Snoop' Pearson stepped into the studio to discuss BET Plus's 'American Gangster: Trap Queens Edition.' These two powerhouses didn't just come to chat—they came to drop wisdom that hit different. Wright, who spent 14 years locked up before her early release, kept it 100 about redemption. 'Felons, once you're a felon, everybody say it's over,' she shared, her voice carrying the weight of lived experience. But Wright flipped that narrative, explaining how redemption isn't just a second chance—it's another chance for everyone who's fallen short. TRENDING STORIES: Turk Opens Up About Joseph, Hot Boys Legacy, and Overcoming Adversity Kirko Bangz Drops Gems on Growth, Authenticity, and 'Choose Self' Bellygang on Hometown Love, and Lil Wayne's Impact on His Journey Snoop, the beloved Wire alumni, brought that authentic Baltimore energy, talking about getting fired from a book factory and almost returning to the streets. 'I got three strikes against me—I'm Black, I'm gay, and a felon,' Snoop said with raw honesty that had the room nodding in respect. We care about your data. See our privacy policy. The conversation got deep when they discussed watching their own stories unfold on screen. Wright described it as 'God's grace being sufficient,' while Snoop admitted needing therapy but struggling with cultural barriers around mental health in the Black community. Their advice to young people caught in the game? Wright didn't sugarcoat it: 'Don't do it.' She broke down the math—all the money she made wasn't worth missing her son grow from 10 to 25 years old. That's the kind of real talk that saves lives. Both women emphasized how their platform gives hope to the nearly 2 million people currently incarcerated in America. 'We give other people hope,' Snoop emphasized, speaking to those walking the same dirty prison hallways they once knew. From Wright's 'Break Free' podcast to her book 'Pit to Palace Mentality' and Snoop's upcoming projects, these Trap Queens aren't just telling their stories—they're changing the game entirely. Katt Graham on Lifetime's "If I Run" and Staying Inspired

Source: Reach Media / Urban One Y'all already know Kat Graham brings that energy wherever she goes, but when she pulled up to 'Posted on The Corner,' she was serving authenticity and inspiration like only she can. The multi-talented actress is back on our screens with Lifetime's 'If I Run,' premiering August 2nd, and sis is not playing around. 'The movie's a faith-based film, so I don't mind talking about it,' Graham shared, breaking down how her spiritual foundation shapes everything she does. 'I always meditate every day, I pray every day. I'm somebody that, you know, I don't play with my peace.' In 'If I Run,' Kat steps into the role of Casey, a character running from the law – a complete flip from her previous role in 'Duplicity' where she was holding law enforcement accountable. 'I love, as a black woman, playing different characters that show different sides of who we are,' she explained, emphasizing how representation matters in every role she takes. We care about your data. See our privacy policy. But it's not just about the acting for Kat. She's tapping into real pain to bring authenticity to her performances. After losing her brother in 2021, she's learned that 'grief doesn't have a time. It'll just hit you randomly, and it comes in waves.' That raw emotion? She channels it into her craft, making every scene hit different. Living in Atlanta keeps her grounded and inspired, away from the 'flaky' LA energy. She's about that meditation life, daily prayer, and surrounding herself with kindness – because as she puts it, 'kindness and being kind to people just gives you a different kind of protection.' For young black actresses coming up, her advice is simple but powerful: 'You just got to be your most authentic self and bring your truth to everything that you do.' Kat Graham isn't just acting – she's living her purpose, ten toes down.
