The starlet is fresh off something of a breakout campaign in 2024/25, which saw him afforded 37 appearances across all competitions.
And along the way, Mora turned heads courtesy of a string of standout performances, chipping in with 11 goals and four assists, too.
During an appearance in Portugal this weekend, the name of the teenage prodigy was in turn put to the aforementioned Deco.
And the Barcelona director, in quotes relaid by Diario Sport, made use of the opportunity to lavish praise on Mora:
'Rodrigo Mora is a great player. I'm not going to talk about the transfer market, because it's a moment that isn't even an event. It's fantastic to see a boy as young as him take on this leadership at FC Porto. I'm happy, because it's my club and he's a player with exceptional talent. We have the idea of having the players we have at Barcelona.'

Watch live: Madeleine McCann investigators scour abandoned farmhouse near Christian Brueckner home in Portugal
Watch live as investigators searching for Madeleine McCann scour an abandoned farmhouse near the home of prime suspect Christian Brueckner. German and Portuguese police are in the municipality of Lagos, which sits next to Praia da Luz, the town in the Algarve where Madeline went missing 18 years ago. The search will cover 20 properties, cisterns, wells and ruins, according to sources close to the investigation. Investigators will reportedly look at trenches dug near the resort at the time of Madeleine's disappearance and are also using ground-penetrating radar to see if it can find any traces of the young British girl. Madeleine vanished from an apartment complex on 3 May, 2007 whilst on holiday with her family, prompting a Europe-wide police investigation. Investigators from Germany have taken the lead in the case since identifying 48-year-old Brueckner - who is currently in prison for a separate crime - as their prime suspect in 2020. Brueckner has repeatedly denied any involvement in the three-year-old's disappearance. A spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Police said: 'We are aware of the searches being carried by the BKA (German federal police) in Portugal as part of their investigation into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. 'The Metropolitan Police Service is not present at the search, we will support our international colleagues where necessary.'

Luis Diaz keen on Barcelona move, rejects Liverpool contract offer
Barcelona have been handed a massive boost as forward Luis Diaz has rejected a contract offer from Liverpool (h/t Mundo Deportivo). Diaz has emerged as a top target for the La Liga champions in the summer transfer window, with sporting director Deco a huge admirer of his talent. Advertisement The Reds have been in talks to extend Diaz's contract, which expires in 2027, but his agent has informed them about his desire to join the Catalan giants. The Colombian international has also turned down a lucrative proposal from Al-Nassr. The Premier League champions are also open to selling the former Porto star. They value him at around €80 million as they aim to generate funds to sign Florian Wirtz. Despite their financial woes, Barca are unfazed by the price tag as they believe Diaz's efforts to force his departure will provide more leeway in negotiations. The 28-year-old has been an integral part of Liverpool since joining them in 2022, tallying 41 goals and 23 assists in 148 appearances. Advertisement He also played a key role in the Premier League triumph under Arne Slot last season, bagging 13 goals and seven assists. With Ansu Fati on his way to AS Monaco, Barca manager Hansi Flick wants to add depth to their attack ahead of next season. Díaz is known for his explosiveness on both flanks, particularly through his dribbling and ball progression. He can also play as a focal point in the attack. Barca have also lined up Marcus Rashford as a potential alternative to improve their attack in the transfer window. The Manchester United forward, who recently enjoyed a productive loan spell at Aston Villa, is open to taking a pay cut to join Barca.
