Mace blasts NY mag for wrongly implicating her in Alex Cooper sex harass claims

House Rep. Nancy Mace unloaded on New York Magazine Monday for its 'lazy, dangerous typo' after the glossy publication erroneously linked her to a college soccer coach accused of sexually harassing podcaster Alex Cooper. The magazine posted on X that 'Nancy Mace' is facing allegations of sexual misconduct — when it really meant Nancy Feldman, the former Boston University women's soccer coach that Cooper is accusing. ''Call Her Daddy' host Alex Cooper says she was sexually harassed by her Boston University soccer coach, Nancy Mace, in her new Hulu documentary, 'Call Her Alex,'' the post stated, linking to a story by The Cut. Advertisement The flub was deleted within the hour, but still caught Mace's ire. X/@NYMag The tweet was up for less than an hour before it was deleted and replaced with the correct name — but not before Mace took notice. 'We are demanding an immediate retraction and full correction,' Mace posted on X. 'You don't get to smear me with a lazy, dangerous typo.' Advertisement Mace also wrote that she's never met Cooper or coached the BU soccer team. 'And I have never – ever – sexually harassed anyone,' she wrote. '@NYMag, and anyone repeating this lie: Take it down or lawyer up.' Cooper, made the allegations against Feldman in the upcoming Hulu documentary 'Call Her Alex,' claiming the sexual harassment started her sophomore year at the elite school. Mace demanded an immediate retraction. CQ-Roll Call, Inc via Getty Images Advertisement Feldman coached BU's women's soccer team for 22 years before she retired in 2022. Cooper was a member of the Terriers women's soccer program from 2013-15. Cooper accused Feldman of taking an uncomfortable interest in her and would make comments about her body and personal life. She also alleged Feldman tried to get her alone, put her hand on her thigh and stare at her. Boston University did not respond to a request for comment by The Post on Sunday. Advertisement New York Magazine declined to comment about the flub and Mace's subsequent post. The post shared an article from The Cut, which had the correct information. Mace has previously accused her ex-fiancé and three business partners of committing sexual crimes against herself and a dozen other women — accusations that he has denied.

Podcaster Alex Cooper alleges she was sexually harassed by soccer coach while at Boston University

'During the filming of this documentary, I found out that the harassment and abuse of power is still happening on the campus of Boston University, and I spoke to one of the victims, and hearing her story was horrific, and I knew in that moment if I don't speak about this, it's going to continue happening,' Cooper said, according to Deadline. Her 'Call Her Daddy' was, in 2024, the second-most popular podcast on Spotify behind 'The Joe Rogan Experience.' She signed a three-year, $60 million contract with Spotify in 2021, the richest exclusive deal the company had ever handed to a woman-led show. Cooper-Standard Holdings Inc. (CPS): A Bull Case Theory

We came across a bullish thesis on Cooper-Standard Holdings Inc. (CPS) on Deep Value Capital's Substack. In this article, we will summarize the bulls' thesis on CPS. Cooper-Standard Holdings Inc. (CPS)'s share was trading at $21.94 as of 6th June. CPS's trailing and forward P/E were 4.26 and 62.89 respectively according to Yahoo Finance. Copyright: wihtgod / 123RF Stock Photo Cooper Standard remains a high-upside turnaround story, albeit one whose recovery has taken longer than expected. The stock is down over 90% from its highs, but the fundamental thesis remains intact. Since 2019, the company has aggressively restructured, removing over $600 million in structural costs while continuing to supply critical vehicle systems to top-tier original equipment manufacturers. This operational discipline, paired with its reputation, underscored by being named a General Motors Supplier of the Year for the eighth consecutive time, speaks to the strategic importance and quality of Cooper Standard's offerings. Despite external headwinds that have delayed its recovery, such as global supply chain disruptions and inconsistent vehicle production volumes, the company's earnings power at normalized industry volumes remains highly attractive. If volumes were to return to prior cycle peaks, the business has the potential to deliver more than 12x returns from current levels. This upside is driven by significant operating leverage now embedded in the business, thanks to the deep cost cuts already executed. While timing the recovery remains uncertain, the thesis centers on durability and long-term normalized profitability rather than near-term catalysts. For long-term investors, this remains a classic deep-value setup: a mission-critical supplier with leaner operations, high customer stickiness, and asymmetric upside potential. Unless new information fundamentally alters the long-term economics of the auto supply chain or Cooper Standard's position within it, the investment case remains a bet on mean reversion and operating leverage. The delay in realization may test patience, but it does not invalidate the thesis. Previously, we highlighted a on Cooper Standard from Busy Investor Stock Reports, which emphasized the company's dramatic cost reductions and margin recovery despite soft volumes. With revenue per vehicle rising and EBITDA expected to grow 20% even under conservative production forecasts, the thesis framed CPS as a near-term cash flow story with asymmetric upside if auto production surprises to the upside. The stock price has appreciated by approximately 39% since then. Cooper-Standard Holdings Inc. (CPS) is not on our list of the 30 Most Popular Stocks Among Hedge Funds.
