Forest 'part of my window to the outside world '
Guru: When I was a lad growing up in Kenya in the 1950s, our window to the outside world was BBC World Service. On Saturdays, I used to be mesmerised listening to the football scores. One team always stuck in my mind - Nottingham Forest. In my mind, it had associations with Robin Hood.Back then, I was not to know that eventually I would come to live within 17 miles of City Ground. One of the first things I did was get a season ticket, which I then had all through the glory years. How I wish I still had it!

Scotland defender Mukandi announces retirement
Scotland defender Emma Mukandi has confirmed her retirement from all forms of 32-year-old has 75 senior caps for her country, following her debut against France back in 2011. Estevao shows 'exciting vision into the future'
Chelsea winger Estevao Willian offered an exciting vision into the future in his first appearance at Stamford Bridge. Fellow new signings Jamie Gittens and Jorrel Hato made their first Chelsea appearances while Andrey Santos played well in midfield on his first appearance at Stamford Bridge after an 18-month loan spell at Strasbourg. Pedro, Liam Delap and Dario Essugo all featured in the Club World Cup but made their bows at Stamford Bridge on an impressive night overall for Chelsea who proved they had no hangover from the month-long Fifa having scored against Chelsea for his former club Palmeiras at the Club World Cup, Estevao's performance added another chapter to his growing folklore during 76 exciting minutes.
