Music fan got on stage at concert to 'propose to girlfriend'...just hours later, he did something unspeakable
A scorned man is under arrest in Brazil following the murder of his former girlfriend, who refused to resume their relationship despite a public plea at a live concert.
Adailton dos Santos attended musician Kelson Kizz's show as part of the Santo Antônio Festival in Santo Antônio, Paraibá on Wednesday and asked to make a marriage proposal to Vitória de Lima, 32, on the stage.
Kelson Kizz obliged and stopped his show as dos Santos joined him in front of the band, video footage showed
The singer appeared to be stunned when dos Santos changed his tune and whispered into his ear that what he really wanted to reconcile with de Lima.
When Kelson Kizz how long they had been dating, dos Santos told him that they were separated for only a couple of days.
'Adailton mustered up the courage, it's today. He said she won't escape today,' Kelson Kizz said in the video.
'Santo Antônio, matchmaker, I hope you perform a miracle. Hello Vitória, where are you? I don't think she's coming.'
They both waited around two minutes for de Lima, who failed to come to the stage, as a dejected dos Santos looked towards the crowd in shock.
After the show, dos Santos returned to his home in town of Solânea, where de Lima also lived, and ambushed her when he saw her walking to her residence on Thursday at 4:36am, it is alleged.
Authorities said Vitória de Lima (pictured) had broken up her relationship with Adailton dos Santos, her former boyfriend of two months, earlier during the week before she was ambushed by him and stabbed dead near her home Thursday
Surveillance video showed De Lima attempted to run away from dos Santos before she fell with him to the ground and was stabbed, according to police.
She was rushed to an area hospital, where she died from her injuries.
A stunned Kelson Kizz took to his Instagram Story on Thursday in search of answers.
'This shocked me, I haven't slept since 7am, I haven't slept a wink, and somehow we end up feeling guilty, even though we know there was nothing we could have done,' he said.
'The guy went up, told the production team that it was a marriage proposal, and when he got to the front of the stage he said it was a reconciliation,' Kelson Kizz added.
'But he used the names of people from the victim's family, he knew the person's life in detail. We tried to smooth things over as best we could, but unfortunately he committed femicide.'
Adailton dos Santos was seen on a surveillance video ambushing his former girlfriend, Vitôria de Lima, before he stabbed and killed her near her home in Santo Antônio, a city in the northeastern Brazilian state of Paraibá
The Paraibá Military Police arrested dos Santos at the scene of the crime, which he returned to with a set of new clothes.
He initially told officers that he was not involved and then confessed after the presented evidence linking him to de Lima's murder.
Paraibá Military Police Diogenes Fernandes told Brazilian news outlet G1 that dos Santos and de Lima had dated for only two months before she called off the relationship earlier this week.
'In a cold manner, he goes to his residence, changes his shirt and returns to the scene of the crime in an attempt to simulate rescue for the victim,' Paraibá Military Police Diogenes Fernandes told Brazilian news outlet G1.
'He confessed to the crime, the murder weapon was seized and he was sent to the local public jail.'

Woman, 32, convicted of stabbing mum, 31, to death in front of her child at birthday party
A WOMAN has been found guilty of brutally stabbing a mother to death at a London house party. Hope Rowe, 33, attacked Charlotte Lawlor with a knife at a property in Stepney Green, east London, on September 15 last year. 5 5 Emergency services found Ms Lawlor in the foyer of the tower block just before 2am. Charlotte Lawlor suffered multiple stab wounds at the hands of Rowe with some of the victim's friends and family witnessing the brutal attack. Tragically, despite the best efforts of medical staff, Lawlor passed away from her injuries. Inner London Crown Court heard that Rowe stabbed Lawlor following an argument and then fled the scene in a car with her partner, Leigh Holder, 37. Armed cops caught up with the fleeing vehicle shortly after 2:10am and discovered only Leigh Holder inside. He told cops that Rowe had jumped out of the car shortly after fleeing the crime scene and claimed he didn't know where she was. The court heard that Rowe left a voicemail on Holder's phone as they drove away together, which recorded her telling him that it was 'good' she had killed Ms Lawlor, before Holder instructed her to dispose of the knife and to avoid the police. The knife used to kill Lawlor has never been found despite the best efforts of police. In the early morning the following day the court heard Rowe went to Bethnal Green Police Station where she was arrested on suspicion of murder. She provided no comment during a police interview and later claimed her actions were due to a momentary loss of control. On Friday, a jury at the London court found Rowe guilty of murder and Holder guilty of perverting the course of justice. Rowe and her partner Holder will be sentenced at the court on July 9. 5 5 Det Sgt Dean Musgrove, from the Met Police's specialist crime north unit, said: 'Hope Rowe launched a brutal attack on Charlotte Lawlor at what should have been a joyous occasion. 'Our thoughts are with the victim's family and friends, who will have to contend not only with the loss of a loved one, but with the trauma of having witnessed the killing. 'As if the killing was not senseless enough, Rowe then tried to deceive investigators, disposing of the knife before turning herself in. 'It still has not been found to this day, and both Rowe and her partner were incriminated by a voicemail accidentally recorded on Rowe's phone.' The victims parents said in a statement they were 'happy' with the verdict, adding: 'We would like to thank the jury for their attention during the trial. 'The family will never get over the loss and murder of Charlotte. It has destroyed us, leaving a gaping hole. "Charlotte's son, Riley, has been left without a mum, and siblings without their older sister and best friend. Charlotte brought light to everyone's life.' 5

Stranger who viciously killed sleeping Florida teen lived in 'horror movie' apartment, landlord says - as cops admit they are bewildered over random slaying
A stranger who killed a sleeping teenage boy in Florida lived in an apartment reminiscent of a horror movie as his former landlord said he always had an off feeling about him. Kyrill Kehl, 26, killed Dominic Ferrell, 17, in his 34th floor apartment in the Icon Brickell building in Miami while he sleept after the killer bypassed security and got on the elevator with other residents on June 8. Kehl started on the 47th floor, trying doors until he reached Ferrell's on the 34th and found it open. Upon entering, he stabbed the sleeping teen to death before eventually falling hundreds of feet to his death from a different building when he fled. His former landlord, Christian, said after seeing the news that he always had a weird feeling about his tenant, and even predicted that Kehl would end up making headlines. 'I remember specifically leaving the building and saying: "I have a feeling we haven't heard the last of this dude." And I said: "Watch, this motherf**ker is gonna be on the news one day,"' he told WSVN. 'I had this weird inkling feeling of like, Dahmer. I literally had this thought like: "Oh my God, we're dealing with Dahmer here." Jeffrey Dahmer vibes.' Kehl was Christian and his business partner's first tenant and the landlord said the young man lived in absolute filth and hid an automatic weapon in his apartment. The killer's fridge was filled with couch cushion-sized chunks of meat that were rotting and covered in maggots. The apartment also had a strong odor, he said. His former landlord, Christian (pictured), said he always had a weird feeling about his tenant. Kehl was Christian and his business partner's first tenant and the landlord said the young man lived in absolute filth. 'It was like something out of a horror movie,' he said 'How could anybody live in here with this smell? It smells like something is rotting,' Christian told the outlet. 'It was like something out of a horror movie.' Christian also recalled an encounter with the strange young man once inside the apartment. As the landlord approach the closet, Kehl jumped in front of him ad told him: 'Don't go in there.' The contents of the closet are unknown. The landlord feels guilt for not being able to prevent the tragedy, but he said his tenant never did anything illegal or that would have prompted him or his business partner to call the authorities. 'I'm still in disbelief, because I feel like, had we done something, but there's no way,' he told the outlet. 'There's no telling whether you know for sure you're in the presence of a murderer.' Surveillance footage that has not been released to the public allegedly showed Kehl seen sprinting from the apartment after the murder and several knives were found at the scene, investigators said. Ferrell was found dead in his bed by his father, Jon Ferrell, who was also asleep at the time of the attack. The boy was visiting his father against his mother's wishes that day, as she had gotten a temporary restraining order against Jon, according to the Miami Herald. The apartment where Ferrell was killed was a short-term rental. 'Consistent with Dominic's extraordinary empathy and our loving bond, he chose to join me on the night of this horrific event. Of course, my wife and I will cooperate with law enforcement as we get to the bottom of this senseless murder,' Jon said in a statement. Police said they found Kehl's body at the construction site the next morning after following a trail of blood from the scene of Farrell's slaying. Ahead of Father's Day, Jon encouraged parents to 'hug your children and appreciate every precious moment you have with them.' He also revealed the day of the murder, he and his son were discussing what they're plans were for Father's Day and had planned a family golf game.
