Kate Hudson Reveals How She Really Feels About Being Labeled A ‘Rom-Com Queen'
Kate Hudson has surely starred in enough romantic flicks — from 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days' to 'Fool's Gold' — to be considered a 'rom-com queen,' but she's still a little iffy about the label.
'It's a mixed feeling because now that I'm older, I love it,' Hudson said during the March 6 episode of the 'Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce' podcast.
But she admitted that having 'success in a rom-com as a woman' can be a double-edged sword.
'I think what happens when you have a very successful rom-com, it sort of becomes what people expect of you and want from you, and as an actor, you're sort of like, 'Yeah, but I want to do a million different things.''
'As Hollywood goes, they love to put you in a box,' she added. 'They love it. And so I think when you're younger, it's like, you don't want to be pigeonholed into an idea that that's what you do. And the second you have success in a rom-com as a woman, it's like, they just want you in that.'
Hudson has been opening up about many topics recently, including the status of her sex life at age 45.
'The best part about sex in your 40s, honestly, is the freedom,' the Golden Globe winner said in a Feb. 25 interview with Bustle. 'Sex isn't supposed to be pretty, and I think that when you get older, you kind of have more fun with that.'

Bindi Irwin Reveals the Unexpected Way Her Late Father's Adventurous Spirit Is Shared With Daughter Grace
Bindi Irwin honors her late father, Steve Irwin, by continuing his conservation legacy at the Australia Zoo. His spirit is also living on in an unexpected way — and daughter Grace Warrior, 4, is the beneficiary of that magic. On the June 5 episode of the Not Gonna Lie With Kylie Kelcie podcast, Bindi shared how her younger brother Robert, 21, embodies the spirit of their dad and shares it with his niece. More from SheKnows Bindi Irwin's Daughter Grace Was in Full Princess Mode at the Happiest Place on Earth 'He is such a good uncle,' gushed the 26-year-old mom of one. 'We actually call him a 'funcle' as well. As Grace has grown up, she just gets more and more excited to go on Uncle Robert adventures because, you know, he kind of like pushes the limits a little.' 'He does fun things and exciting things, and so she loves it,' she continued. 'He's so present with her which I love so much. When we were growing up as kids, me and Robert, it was very similar with Dad. He would do the same thing with us where he would pick us up and be like, 'OK, we are going to hike up this mountain while we're heading to the Simpson Desert to research fear snakes.' As kids, Bindi and Robert would happily follow Steve, who was 'such an adventurer' — a trait that she also sees in her brother. 'I see that he is so similar to dad and I'm really glad that Grace is gonna have that energy in her life like she would've had from dad,' she added. It's truly a tissue-grabbing moment because Steve lives on through his only son. Bindi and her husband, Chandler Powell, are raising Grace to know all about her late grandfather even though he passed in 2006 at the age of 44. They are both able to see flashes of the late conservationist in their daughter. 'I see so much of dad and our beautiful daughter Grace,' Bindi told E! News in May 2024. 'She has so much fiery, passionate energy about her. She just is a determined woman, and she never stops moving… She thinks that it's her job to make all the make sure all the animals are cared for. She is the kindest and most beautiful soul while also having this fiery energy that's like dad and I love it. I love it so much.' From the sounds of it, Grace is ready to run the Australian Zoo even as a preschooler, and that would make her grandfather proud. Kylie Kelce doesn't lie about reason for 2 chapsticks: ‘Grimy dirty little lips'
Kylie Kelce has a little mini me in her second youngest daughter, 2-year-old Bennett. And as a result, Kelce has to take certain measures to make sure she always has a clean chapstick, as she explained on her latest episode of her 'Not Gonna Lie' podcast. At the start of every podcast episode, the mom of four shares her 'not gonna lie' segment. On Thursday, June 5, Kelce got honest about why she always has two chapsticks on hand. 'I'm not gonna lie, I have two chapsticks in my purse at any given time,' Kelce explained before beginning the podcast. 'One is mine, and the other one is Benny's 'wake up.' That's right, her 'wake up,'' also known as 'make up.' 'As soon as I use my chapstick, I will immediately be prompted, 'I have some'' by her 2-year-old daughter. Kelce clarified that the second chapstick she carries around is 'an attempt to not have to share my chapstick with those grimy dirty little lips.' 'Ew,' Kelce, who just gave birth to her and Jason Kelce's fourth daughter in March, said. 'We've all seen the food crested on your face, Benny,' she continued. 'I don't want to share my chapstick with you,' Kelce said, revealing her mom limit. In addition to Bennett, Kelce and her husband also share Wyatt, Elliotte, and Finnley.

Kate Hudson Opens Up About Wanting Her Blended Family to Be 'One Unit' While Raising Her Kids: 'My Priority'
Kate Hudson is opening up about how she navigates her co-parenting relationships. While at the inaugural Newport Beach TV Fest, the Glass Onion actress, 46, spoke about how she intentionally maneuvered her co-parenting relationships to raise her kids as "one unit." Hudson, who is a mother to three, said that she would make "a conscious decision to do things that didn't take me away from my kids for too long." "I have three kids and I have three different dads, and all of them tour, and I made a very conscious decision to do things that didn't take me away from my kids for too long, on top of trying to diversify," she explained. "I like to play the long game and just do different things, so for me it was like I wasn't getting the roles that I wanted to be playing. The ones that I did, I would make some hard decisions and if it took me away for too long, I just couldn't do it because I had to be with my kids and I wanted to make sure that I was the center of my kids' universe and that we had one unit." "That included me going to my exes' tours and being very consciously uncoupled with everybody, and so that was my priority," she continued. The actress welcomed her first child, Ryder, with her ex-husband Chris Robinson in 2004, followed by her second son, Bingham, whom she shares with her former fiancé Matt Bellamy, in 2011. Hudson's family grew once again in 2018, when she gave birth to her first daughter, Rani, with her fiancé Danny Fujikawa. Hudson previously joked about the fact that each of her kids has a different father during an appearance on Sunday Today with Willie Geist. "I've got multiple dads, I've got kids all over the place," she said with a laugh. She spoke further about her relationship with her kids' three fathers in a November 2022 interview with The Sunday Times. "It might not look traditional from the outside, but on the inside I feel like we're killing it," she said of co-parenting with the three men. "The unit that I've created with three children with three different fathers is a seriously strong unit, and it's ours." is now available in the Apple App Store! Download it now for the most binge-worthy celeb content, exclusive video clips, astrology updates and more! As for expanding her family even more, Hudson isn't ruling anything out. During a 2020 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the actress said she was open to having more children. "I don't know if I'm done," she said. "I'm in that place of like, right now, Rani is at that age where you're like, 'I want another baby.' But once she gets like 4 or 5, you're like, 'I feel like my life is kinda back a little bit [and] they're kinda in a groove.' It's weird … it's like a window." Hudson spoke again about the possibility of having more kids during an interview for Byrdie's "After-Dark" digital issue, which was published on Dec. 12, 2022. "I've been having children my entire adult life," she explained. "I've got my 4-year-old and I've got a kid in college. And I don't even know if I'm done yet. You know, I don't have that answer yet."
