Avishag Arbel Unveils Summer 2025 Maternity Line Built for Heatwaves, Confidence, and Style
Tel Aviv District, Israel, May 8, 2025 -- Avishag Arbel Maternity, the Tel Aviv-based pregnancy fashion brand, unveiled its 2025 summer collection designed to empower expectant mothers through heatwaves and beach days alike. The line features breathable essentials and versatile pieces that blend style with pregnancy-specific functionality.
Pregnancy hormones and rising temperatures demand clothing that prioritizes airflow and adaptability. Avishag Arbel's new collection answers this need with lightweight maternity shorts featuring adjustable elastic waistbands, including the Sunny Maternity Denim Shorts. Paired with Sisi Ribbed Maternity Tank Top, it gives an effortless look full of style for this summer. These designs accommodate growing bumps while offering everyday-ready polish.
'Summer shouldn't mean sacrificing confidence,' says founder Avishag Arbel, whose 20-year mission has focused on helping women feel stylish during pregnancy. The brand's Reef Maternity Dress exemplifies this philosophy, offering sun protection through airy, striped fabric that moves with the body. With 35.9 percent of the maternity market dominated by outerwear, Avishag Arbel's layering solutions cater to mothers navigating fluctuating body temperatures and summer social calendars.
The 2025 swimwear line marks a leap forward in maternity design, replacing outdated tent-like suits with sleek one-pieces and adjustable swimwear. Tops with reinforced bust support and stretchable belly panels dominate the collection, ensuring comfort during poolside lounging or ocean swims.
For pregnant women seeking to cool off their bump this summer, the Berry Maternity Top might be the perfect choice. This is a crop-top, off-shoulder maternity top made of elastic shirred fabric with short sleeves and ruffle trim. A chic top for the hot days of summer, this is perfectly paired with the Dusty Maternity Skirt, a tiered maxi maternity skirt featuring an elastic waist for added comfort.
Avishag Arbel's swimsuits integrate quick-dry fabrics, addressing concerns about overheating and sun exposure. The pieces align with broader trends toward active maternity lifestyles, a shift accelerated by record-breaking temperatures.
The Naxos Maternity Swimsuit is a sporty one-piece maternity swimsuit, specially designed to keep mothers comfortable and stylish even while they swim during the summer season. For a summer throw-over maternity dress, the Mathira Beach-Bump Maternity Dress can be worn over a bathing suit, tank top, and a tee shirt.
The 2025 summer collection is available now at www.avishagarbel.com. Global shipping and free returns simplify access for international customers.

Kylie, Kendall, Bella, and Hailey reunite in coordinating monochrome looks
While many of us spent our Wednesday night on the couch, watching Taylor Swift's New Heights podcast appearance, California's 'It' girls slipped into their chicest summer fits for sweet reunion. Earlier in the day, sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner joined best friends Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber at a cocktail garden party to celebrate Hadid's fragrance brand Orebella and her latest perfume release, Eternal Roots. The host and model looked ethereal in a romantic, flowing white maxi dress by Mirror Palais. The slinky, airy piece had a halter neckline and a plunging cutout down the bust, as well as a high thigh cutout. The Orebella founder wore the dress with layers of boho-inspired jewellery and pulled her new blonde hair up into a top knot. Her look also nodded to her cowgirl pastime with a pair of white Western embroidered boots. Bieber, meanwhile, stuck to the muted colour scheme in the most fun way—with polka dots (a print she's worn several times now). Her black midi dress from Dolce & Gabbana was covered in white lunettes, and featured a structured bustier bodice. She wore it with strappy heels and dainty gold-and-diamond jewellery, and had her hair in her signature bun. Kylie—who is straight off her 28th birthday celebration—looked sultry in a black midi dress with a strappy, bold halter neckline and ab cutouts. She styled it with pointy black heels, a matching micro bag, gold jewellery, and a voluminous, wavy hairdo. Kendall matched her little sister's energy in her own little black dress—a sleek strapless number—which the minimalist supermodel styled only with black sandals and little gold hoop earrings. Her hair was pulled back into a neat bun. Later in the night, for a dinner date at Italian restaurant Alba in Los Angeles, the famous BFFs were also joined by Alex Consani and two other girlfriends, and all seven of them coordinated in black-and-white looks. Hadid changed into a tight black midi dress and knife-sharp heels, while Consani wore a timeless little white dress, which she accessorised only with skinny black sunglasses. Why Cristiano Ronaldo's Engagement Raised Eyebrows in Saudi Arabia
It was hardly a surprise that the engagement announcement of Cristiano Ronaldo, the global soccer superstar, was accompanied by a photograph of a diamond the size of a jumbo olive. The location tagged in the Instagram post, however — published by his partner of nine years, the model and influencer Georgina Rodríguez — raised eyebrows. The photo of her bedazzled hand was not shared from Paris, Bora Bora or Dubai, but from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The capital of the conservative Islamic kingdom is not generally known as a place where globe-trotting couples flock to celebrate their romances. A decade ago, the religious police roamed the city streets hunting for unmarried couples and shouting at women to cover their hair. Sex outside of marriage was, until recently, punishable by flogging. Even as fans celebrated the new engagement, the announcement highlighted the fact that the couple were not married and had been living with their children in the Saudi city for two years. Riyadh is where one chapter of Ronaldo's unmarried bliss has played out, after he moved here in 2022 under a hefty contract to play for the Saudi soccer team Al Nassr. He was joined in the city by Ms. Rodríguez and their children. Want all of The Times? Subscribe.

Summer of the Skort: Meet My Best-Ever Warm-Weather Clothing Purchase
Dressing for the summertime (especially in hot and sticky New York City) has always been a pain for me. Shorts feel too casual, jeans or trousers are too heavy in humid weather, and while dresses and skirts bring a breezy feel, I run the risk of strong winds or whooshing air from subway grates accidentally revealing my underwear choices to passersby. My solution has always been to opt for activewear during the warmer months, since sweat-wicking materials keep me cool when I'm running errands, especially on days where humidity reaches over 70%. This habit meant that I was comfortable plopping down for a picnic, but made me look like a gym rat if I showed up at a nice restaurant or a friend's home for an impromptu dinner party (a good pair of workout leggings can only take you so far). Then I found a surprisingly versatile skort while scrolling through the site of Girlfriend Collective, a brand I already loved for its leggings. It's been a wardrobe staple ever since. For the past four summers, I've lived in the brand's Sport Skort. Although it's designed as activewear, I wear mine whether I'm headed out for a brisk walk around my neighborhood or attending a casual weekend picnic. It has all the breezy charm of a mini skirt without the need to constantly adjust it or worry about a stray breeze. Instead, I'm full of confidence when I wear it, thanks to the security of built-in bike shorts that have a compressive, but not restrictive, fit. I appreciate that the discreet pockets in the shorts and in the waistband offer a secure place to stash my keys and AirPods case. The shorts pocket isn't quite big enough for my iPhone, so I'll throw that in my favorite fanny pack for longer walks or errands. Not long after I purchased the skort in black back in 2021, I paired it with a sweater tank and my favorite Adidas Stan Smith sneakers to attend a friend's birthday party in Brooklyn's Fort Greene Park. I toted a bag full of party supplies and hiked up a grassy hill in the middle of August while remaining comfortable (and covered). I was able to lounge on a picnic blanket, lean over to light candles and slice up birthday cake, all without the fear of a wardrobe malfunction. Plus, the summer heat was no match for the skort's soft, stretchy blend of RPET (a fabric sourced from recycled plastic bottles) and spandex. This year, my original skort was starting to show minimal signs of wear (but was still perfectly wearable), and I wanted to size up. The replacement has the same comfortable fit and look of the original. Up close, the skort's texture looks like a typical pair of leggings, yet the fabric's matte finish makes it blend nicely with non-athletic clothing. I've had friends who've complimented the wardrobe staple while out for a coffee and ask me where I bought it, and I'm always quick to reveal my secret: 'Look, it has built-in shorts!' Shopping tip: The brand occasionally sells out of certain size and color combinations, but I've found that I've always been able to get my hands on a certain product when I add my email address to the restock waitlist. Of course, Girlfriend Collective isn't the only brand to enter the activewear-that-doesn't-necessarily-look-like-activewear space. Outdoor Voices (which is currently undergoing a rebrand) made waves in 2018 when it launched its Exercise Dress with the slogan 'you can do anything in a dress,' while a wide range of brands, from Lululemon to Gap to Quince all have their own version of an athletic skort. Dressing with both comfort and style in mind in hot weather can be tricky, but my beloved skort takes much of the hassle (and sweat) out of doing so. And I'm no stranger to the old adage, 'if you love something buy it in every color.' This season, I'm deciding between Terrace (forest green) and Skyline (navy) to add to my closet. Other skorts you should know about Nice-price option This high-waisted skort from Old Navy offers a similar look to the Girlfriend Collective version, with an A-line cut, smooth fabric and built-in bike shorts. It's available in five colors, including black and navy, as well as a rosy pink, khaki green and burnt orange. Great if you want a longer hemline In addition to its famous shapewear, Spanx also makes a line of sleek, stylish activewear. And if you're looking for a slightly longer skort, the brand's AirEssentials Skort, with its 17-inch inseam, is a smart choice. It also has a drawstring waist and built-in bike shorts with the Spanx's 'Booty Boost' fabric, designed to provide support and compression. Great if you love bold colors Lululemon offers a variety of skorts in different styles and inseams, including pleated options and maxi-length styles, though the Align High-Rise Skirt is perhaps its most classic version. It's made from the brand's Nulu fabric (a blend of nylon and lycra elastane), which is designed to be breathable and sweat-wicking, whether you're wearing it for errands or a yoga class. It also features 3-inch liner shorts with a slip pocket on either side. This skort is available in 13 colors, from basic black, white and navy to bold College Purple and Raceway Green.
