
SP Trophy Cricket Tournament organised in Ongole
Seven teams, including Ongole, Darsi, Markapuram, Kanigiri, Armed Reserve (AR), SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) and IT (information Technology) Core teams, have participated in SP Trophy Cricket Tournament organised by Prakasam District Police Department at the District Parade Ground on Tuesday.
Superintendent of Police A.R. Damodar has inaugurated the tournament and watched the cricket matches with interest. Speaking on the occasion, he said, 'One should participate in games with sportsmanship spirit. Winning or losing is not important.'
He said, 'The sports would increase happiness as well as physical strength. Police officers and personnel who are constantly on duty can get rid of stress through sports. Cricket is not just a sport, it is very helpful in leading the team with inspiring leadership qualities. It helps in developing things like discipline, perseverance and fighting spirit.'
'The police should always be in the forefront of serving the people. At the same time, they should also pay attention to their health. In these matches, the players performed their best, demonstrating team cohesion and sportsmanship,' the SP said, wishing the police personnel the best of luck. He informed that more such programmes will be organised in the future.

Iran threatens deployment of unprecedented advanced fourth-generation missiles
Iran may deploy more advanced, fourth-generation missiles in upcoming attacks against Israel, Iran's Fars News Agency reported, citing an informed source. The agency quoted the source as stating: 'Iran's arsenal includes sophisticated missiles such as the Fateh-2, the new generation Sejjil, and the two-ton Khorramshahr, which could be used in potential future attacks.' Statistics suggest that the Fateh-2 missiles are hypersonic with a range of up to 1,400 kilometers. The range of the Sejjil ballistic missiles varies between 2,000 and 2,500 kilometers. As for Khorramshahr missiles, they have four generations, the latest of which is named Kheibar and boasts a range of 2,000 kilometers. In a related context, Ali Saeedi, head of political and ideological affairs in the Iranian Armed Forces, affirmed that Iran used older generation missiles in its response to Israel, indicating that its latest missiles have not yet been deployed. Iranian media outlets quoted a source stating that Iran's strikes on Israel utilized Emad, Ghadr, and Kheibar Shekan medium-range ballistic missiles.
