EA FC 25 Ultimate TOTS confirmed release date, predictions, and expected content

Daily Mirror2 days ago

The Ultimate TOTS squad is next up in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team, but unlike past weeks, it will be the only TOTS squad being released.
The final TOTS squad of EA FC 25 will be released later this week, with the best TOTS items from the promo being re-released in packs as part of the EA FC 25 Ultimate TOTS squad.
The TOTS promo has been a hit in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team, with EA Sports releasing some amazing players across the past six weeks. Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi both starred in the most recent TOTS release, but the MLS, Saudi Pro League, and ROTW TOTS squads will all be replaced in packs this week, with the EA FC 25 Ultimate TOTS squad taking their place.

The EA FC 25 Ultimate TOTS will consist of the best players, both men and women, that have been released during TOTS, with all of these items re-released for one more week in packs. In EA FC 24, 30 players were released as part of the Ultimate TOTS, and we expect this to be the case once again in EA FC 25 as EA look to end the promo on a high ahead of Shapeshifters next week.

Here's everything we know about the upcoming EA FC 25 Ultimate TOTS release, including the release date, predictions, and expected Ultimate Team content.
EA FC 25 Ultimate TOTS release date
EA Sports has confirmed that the EA FC 25 Ultimate TOTS release date is Friday, June 6 at 10am PDT / 1pm EDT/ 6pm BST, with the players released remaining in packs for one week until Friday, June 13, when the Shapeshifters promo will begin in Ultimate Team.

With the Season Finale update confirming that players can now have five PlayStyle Plus', we expect EA to go big on re-releasing players who were given four PlayStyle Plus' during TOTS.
EA FC 25 Ultimate TOTS expected content
With the promo consisting of re-released players, we doubt any new TOTS players will be released as SBCs or Objectives over the next week. Instead, expect to see some big upgrade SBCs released, and we should also get an Ultimate TOTS guarantee SBC as well.
New Evolutions will go live in-game, while we may even see EA release some Shapeshifters items to build hype for the upcoming promo.

Liverpool issue hands-off warning to Barcelona after Reds star is pursued by Spanish giants... but are braced for offers from Saudi Arabia

Liverpool have issued a hands-off warning to Barcelona after the Spanish champions tried to sign Luis Diaz — but the club are braced for more interest from Saudi Arabia. Catalan club Barca asked Liverpool if they would do business and were swiftly told he was not for sale, after Mail Sport reported their strong interest in our Liverpool Confidential column two months ago. But Liverpool are not actively looking to sell Diaz, 28, who yesterday said he was perfectly happy at Anfield. Talking while on international duty with Colombia, the winger said: 'We (Diaz and his camp) are waiting to arrange what is best for us. If Liverpool offers us a really good renewal or since I have two years left on my contract I will definitely stay there happy and content.' It is understood Liverpool see the matter as closed, although Saudi club Al Nassr are lurking in the background and could make a play in the coming weeks. Manchester City considered attempting to sign him last summer. There are no plans at Anfield to open new contract talks with Diaz, whose current deal takes him into his 30s. He joined from Porto in January 2022 and scored 17 goals this season. Barcelona are a particularly enticing prospect for South American players and several players such as Luis Suarez, Philippe Coutinho, and Xavier Mascherano have moved from Anfield. Diaz scored 17 goals and provided eight assists in 50 appearances as Liverpool won their second ever Premier League title last month. Meanwhile, his partner Gera Ponce posted an emotional message on Instagram which some fans had taken as a farewell message. On the other hand, it could just be interpreted as them insisting on their love for the club. 'From the first day we arrived, we felt first hand what it means to be a part of this club,' she wrote. 'We knew the slogan was "You'll Never Walk Alone", but to hear them sing it with so much passion, support us every moment and show such unconditional love... confirmed to us that here you never walk alone. 'This fan doesn't just support, it feels. And what you have made my boyfriend and our entire family feel is something we carry in our souls. 'Thank you for so much love, for so much dedication and for making us feel at home. Being part of this fan(base) is a privilege. There's no doubt: they're the best in the world. 'This is a real bond, deep and strong, that reaffirms that we'll never walk alone'. Speaking to Telemundo last month Diaz insisted he was happy at Anfield and relaxed about his contract situation. 'Yes, happy. From the first day I arrived, I've always been happy, calm, enjoying the football played at this great team. 'We'll be talking about it, we'll talk about it (about the renewal). For me, I would stay however many years it takes, it also depends on the club, everything. 'These are details that are sorted out separately. Very calm, I'm happy and enjoying the Premier League.'

Spain v France: Nations League semi-final

Update: Date: 2025-06-05T17:26:37.000Z Title: Preamble Content: Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Ballon d'Or decider between Lamine Yamal and Ousmane Dembele in Stuttgart. That, at least, is how some people are pitching this Nations League semi-final between Spain and France. It's a reminder that – despite the best efforts of Paris Saint-Germain and indeed Spain at Euro 2024 -the cult of the individual has never been stronger in football. That cult began, or at least gathered pace, with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo lording over the sport for the best part of 15 years. Both are still going strongish, and Ronaldo pilfered the headlines with the winner against Germany in last night's first semi-final. Portugal's win means that, whatever happens tonight, Sunday's final will involve a previous champion. Portugal won the inaugural tournament in 2019, France beat Spain the final in 2021 and Spain overcame Croatia in 2023. That turned into a useful stepping stone ahead of Euro 2024, a tournament Spain won so magnificently. They beat four former world champions en route, including France in a pulsating semi-final. We could have another thriller tonight. May the best team – italics, bold – win. Kick off 8pm.

Diaz puts pressure on Liverpool and confirms transfer talks with rival clubs

Luis Diaz has attracted the attention of Barcelona though the La Liga champions have seen a move for him fail, with the Liverpool star now speaking out on his future Luis Diaz has put the ball firmly in Liverpool's court after confirming he has held talks with rival clubs over a potential move. Diaz was a revelation when he first arrived at Anfield under Jurgen Klopp and continued that under Arne Slot. With Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah starring on the wings, Diaz has mainly been deployed as a central striker by Reds boss Arne Slot. He played an important role this season, scoring 17 goals in all competitions as they won the Premier League title. ‌ But speculation has been mounting since January that he could be on the move. The Colombian has only two years remaining on his contract and with talks over a new deal at an impasse, several top clubs around the world are interested. ‌ One of those is Barcelona, though Liverpool firmly rejected an approach from the La Liga champions for Diaz on Thursday. The attacker is currently with Colombia for their World Cup qualifiers against Peru and Argentina over the next week. Diaz was put up alongside manager Néstor Lorenzo for the press conference to preview the clash with Peru. He was inevitably asked about his future and did little to reassure Reds fans that he felt his future is on Merseyside. "I'm very happy at Liverpool, I've always said so. They've welcomed me very well from day one. We are currently in contact with Liverpool, because we are talking to clubs," Diaz said. "That's normal given the transfer market that's opening. We're trying to arrange what's best for us. We're talking to clubs, it's normal in the market and we're looking at what's best for us. 'I'm waiting to see what happens. If they (Liverpool) give us a good renewal or I stay there for two years, I'll be happy. Now it's up to them.' ‌ Diaz's comments come after Liverpool informed Barcelona that the 28-year-old is not up for sale. The Reds have insisted that they would only consider eye-watering money for the Colombian. The Spanish champions approached the Reds about signing Diaz but it was rebuffed this week. Liverpool are not prepared to sell the Colombian and their stance will only change if they receive a huge offer that would allow them to replace him with a similar or better player. The Reds have noted that Manchester United ace Bruno Fernandes was valued at £85m by Saudi club Al-Hilal and is two years older than Diaz. So they would want more than that to convince them to sell this summer. ‌ Despite that, there are no plans to open contract talks yet with Diaz with only two years left on his contract. Liverpool are ready to maximise his current abilities in his peak years rather than sell for below his valuation just because of his contract situation. That would mean they would be prepared to allow him to leave for nothing in two years. But they are not interested in doing a cut-price deal this summer for a player they believe can still have a big impact.
