Tyla Channels Beyoncé In A Throwback Vintage Cavalli Minidress

As the host and recipient of the 'Favourite Global Music Star' award at this year's Kids' Choice Awards in Santa Monica, singer Tyla served multiple memorable fashion moments.
The South African pop star's standout sartorial moment of the fun-filled night, however, came in the form of a 2006 Spring RTW Roberto Cavalli minidress. Straight off a Y2K mood board, the ombre orange and yellow number featured layers of ruffled fabric in a cascading high-low effect. The sweetheart bust was adorned with a gold appliqué bow, the ends of which worked their way down the skirt. At just 23 years of age, the singer is almost as old as the dress she wore. Looking every bit the 2000s pop star, the singer accessorised with a Ruslan Baginskiy burnt orange newsboy hat, chunky jewellery, and gold pumps. These details, along with her square French tips, left nothing lacking in noughties aesthetics. In fact, the look, curated by Law Roach, well-known as Zendaya's stylist, also involved a bit of fashion history beyond its archival origins.
Not long after its runway debut, the strapless Cavalli dress was worn by fellow singer Beyoncé, paired with simple gold pumps. This was almost twenty years before Tyla's rendition of the look, likely older than most attendees and viewers of the award show. Beyonce Knowles is seen on August 29, 2006 in New York City. Roach also coordinated the singer's other looks for the show, including her red-carpet crop top and high-low printed skirt, as well as her denim micro shorts and printed tee look later in the night—all Y2K approved. The stylist first worked with Tyla at the 2025 Met Gala in May, where she wore a white and black striped Jacquemus gown with a dramatic coat and train to boot.
Fans of fashion history will also be relieved to hear that it was in fact the shorts and tee outfit, and not the Cavalli, in which the pop star was slimed (a staple feature of the award show), as were other attendees such as Katseye, Jack Black, and MGK. Katy Perry & Orlando Bloom Have Reportedly Split Up After Nearly A Decade

(Photo by Robert Smith/Patrick McMullan via Getty Images) Another one bites the dust. In some heartbreaking news, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have reportedly called time on their nearly ten-year relationship. According to sources close to the couple, the pair—long regarded as one of Hollywood's most enduring unions—have parted ways amicably, though the split comes after months of mounting tension. 'It's not contentious at the moment,' one insider told Us Weekly . 'Katy is, of course, upset but is relieved to not be facing another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.' Perry, 40, currently in the midst of her Lifetimes tour, has reportedly found solace in work, staying distracted and on the move, while Bloom, 48, ever the dutiful father, was recently spotted at her Perth concert with their daughter, Daisy Dove. Another source told Page Six that the two are holding out to announce the news. 'It's over,' they shared. 'They are waiting 'til her tour is over before they split.' The couple's plans to make their Westcott estate in Montecito a family base have since dissolved, with Perry now said to be renting it out, while the pair continue to live separately. While whispers of a rift have circulated for weeks—particularly surrounding the aftermath of Perry's latest album flopping—few believed the split would actually materialise. 'Katy was deeply frustrated… It made her very stressed, ' another source told People , noting that while Bloom was supportive, the strain was palpable. 'Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension.' Elsewhere, an insider explained to The Daily Mail that Perry's controversial Blue Origin space mission deepened the rift between the fighting couple. 'He told her the whole thing looked ridiculous,' they told the outlet. 'He said it was cringeworthy. Embarrassing. This was in the middle of a fight, and it hurt her feelings… She hoped he'd be more supportive.' (Photo byfor The Weinstein Company) Perry and Bloom first met at a Golden Globes after-party in 2016, where the two left together and reportedly bonded while grabbing takeout. The duo briefly broke up before getting back together, and on Valentine's Day in 2019, Bloom proposed to the singer. They reached another major milestone when they welcomed their first child, Daisy Dove, in 2020. Until recently, the duo had long appeared loved-up on socials and red carpet appearances. topics: Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, celebrity, celebrity news, celebrity couples, Celebrity Breakups, daisy dove bloom, music, Music News, Trending, entertainment

If You Like Loewe's Balloon Pumps, You'll Love The Shoes At Jonathan Anderson's Dior
Nina Christen is named the new design director of shoes at Dior, joining Jonathan Anderson's creative team (Photo: Instagram / ninachristen_) The buzz around Jonathan Anderson's Dior debut just keeps getting bigger. The latest news to come out of Paris is that Nina Christen, a shoe designer who has worked for fashion brands like The Row, Saint Laurent and Bottega Veneta, has joined Anderson's creative team at the house of Dior. Christen and Anderson have worked together before—at Loewe, where Christen served as head of footwear design and created quirky shoes to go with Anderson's equally eccentric collections for the Spanish luxury brand. Christen's designs include the Comic Foam Pumps and the Balloon Pumps, which was introduced in Loewe's Spring/Summer 2023 collection and soon went viral. The designer has other footwear hits under her belt. Following an internship at Balenciaga, then helmed by Nicolas Ghesquière, the Chilean-Swiss designer worked on shoes for Saint Laurent, during both Stefano Pilati's and Hedi Slimane's tenures. The latter era produced Saint Laurent's signature Chelsea boots and other shoes that became cult classics among Hedi boys (and girls), and which were widely copied by other fashion brands. The Balloon Pumps went viral soon after they were unveiled at the Loewe Spring/Summer 2023 show (Photo: Loewe) Christen went on to design covetable Chelsea boots for Phoebe Philo's Céline, where she met Daniel Lee. After that, she spent three years at Bottega Veneta during Lee's tenure, where she designed the woven Lido sandals—worn and loved by the likes of Rihanna, Margot Robbie and Hailey Bieber—and the divisive Puddle Boot, which is now a must-have for Bottega Veneta collectors. That already reads like the most impressive resume that a shoe designer can have, but Christen also added The Row to hers in 2023, when she joined Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's luxury fashion brand as shoe designer director. In late 2024, Christen also marked another milestone when she launched her eponymous shoe label, Christen. At Bottega Veneta, Christen designed the Lido sandals… (Photo: Instagram / ninachristen_) Still, Christen's designs for Dior will likely be her most impactful creations yet. The 40-year-old only started her role as Dior's design director of shoes in June 2025, so we probably won't see any fun footwear at the Dior Men Spring/Summer 2026 show that will be presented at Paris Fashion Week. But we are keeping our eyes peeled, and so are fashion insiders. A comment on Christen's Instagram post announcing her new Dior gig reads: 'I haven't bought a pair of Dior shoes since Raf was there, but now I'm SO EXCITED'. Ahead, have a glimpse at the Dior debut collection by Jonathan Anderson. This story originally appeared on GRAZIA Singapore . topics: featured, Loewe, DIOR, FASHION, Jonathan Anderson, Nina Christen

Meghan Markle's Wine Launch Features A Sentimental Easter Egg
Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, attends the 2023 Variety Power Of Women event at Mother Wolf on November 16, 2023 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Robin L Marshall/FilmMagic) 'As ever is more than just a brand—it's a love language.' These are the words you'll find on the site of 'As Ever' by Meghan Markle. The latest release from the lifestyle brand reflects this in particular, with the product launch date carrying sentimental significance. The brand released its first line of products in April of this year, with the release selling out within the hour. Announced via Instagram, the second drop followed suit this month, with the entire range of baking mixes, spreads, teas, and other items also selling out. Now, the label is releasing its first alcoholic beverage: a Napa Valley rosé. While no information has been teased about the concoction, the branded bottle was photographed against sparkling water and apricots, suggesting some light, crisp and sweet notes. Meghan Markle / Image: Instagram/aseverofficial Announced on June 25, the wine will be on-site and available for purchase on July 1. This date is significant for the Duchess, marking the birthday of her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana (who would have been 64 this year), and the day Prince Harry first reached out to her. The Prince revealed in his memoir Spare that in 2016, on the date of his mother's birthday, he reached out to Meghan for the first time, after having obtained her information via a mutual friend. 'It occurred to me how uncanny, how surreal, how bizarre, that this marathon conversation should have begun on July 1, 2016. My mother's fifty-fifth birthday,' he mused in his book. (Photo by Karwai Tang/WireImage) The sentimental detail fits the 'As Ever' characteristics and what we've come to expect from the label. Markle's original announcement post regarding the brand's launch encapsulates this well. 'This new chapter is an extension of what has always been my love language, beautifully weaving together everything I cherish.' See 'As Ever' here for more details on the release on July 2, 1:00 AM AEST.
