Sophie Turner supports Joe Jonas' new album—even after messy divorce
ALBAWABA - Sophie Turner is showing her support for ex-husband Joe Jonas' latest musical project.
On Saturday, May 24, the 29-year-old actress posted a link to Jonas' latest album, Music for People Who Believe in Love, on her Instagram Stories with the message, "Go go @joejonas."
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Jonas said that he didn't even originally plan to create the album, which was released on Friday, May 23. It is his first solo project since 2011's Fastlife.
According to Jonas, 35, "We were writing for a camp for the [Jonas] Brothers." "I asked the boys for their opinion because I was drawn to this particular song. I thought, "Hey, could I just take this one and see where it might go for myself?" It had a really intimate feel.

"I mean, I get it," was Nick's statement. I understand, yet I'm jealous. 'I can't really answer no, because I didn't write on it,' he recalled.
According to Jonas, he and a group of writers that included Lush, Alexander 23, and Justin Trainor "just carried on and made the album in two-some weeks." He added that he nearly released his new music last fall because he was so eager to share it with the world.
"I spent some time there wanting to get it out. 'Can I just leak the album or put it out?' I suppose I asked my manager over the phone at some point last year. 'I'm tired of waiting,' I thought," he remembered.
But in the end, Jonas said he's glad he was "convinced not to," because the new album wouldn't have included his most recent song, "Heart by Heart."
Jonas has previously acknowledged that his breakup with Turner served as a major inspiration for his new album.

In August 2024, the musician told Billboard that writing about the relationship was both liberating and frightening at times. "I don't intend to offend anyone with this record. Putting things on blast is not my goal. The music needed to reflect both my happiness and the journey I took to get here.
"I was undergoing a lot of life transitions, discovering my identity as a friend, father, and person, and navigating the scrutiny that the music business can bring." And I believe that I turned to music as a release during such a chaotic period of my life," he added.
In a joint Instagram post in September 2023, the couple, who had a formal divorce in September 2024 and had two daughters, Delphine, age two, and Willa, age four, discussed their decision to split up.
"We have mutually decided to end our marriage amicably after four wonderful years of marriage," they wrote. Although there are many theories as to why, this is a unanimous decision, and we genuinely hope that everyone will honor our requests for privacy for both ourselves and our kids."

Kanye West begs Trump and Elon Musk to "Please Stop Fighting" in viral plea
ALBAWABA - Kanye West jumps into Elon Musk and Donald Trump's viral online feud. Kanye West, now known as Ye, has openly appealed for peace between two of the most divisive people on the internet: tech billionaire Elon Musk and former US President Donald Trump. This is a strange development that could only happen in 2025. As tensions between Trump and Musk reached a dramatic peak this week, the rapper-turned-presidential hopeful-turned-pariah tweeted a call for reconciliation that went viral on X (previously Twitter). 'Broooos, please noooooo ,' Ye shared something on Musk's platform, X. "You two are so loved by us." Broooos please noooooo 🫂 We love you both so much — ye (@kanyewest) June 5, 2025 His remarks coincided with a growing online rivalry between Trump and Elon Musk that has enthralled millions of people and rocked the political and business worlds. Elon Musk's assertion that Donald Trump's name was there in the disclosed Jeffrey Epstein documents sparked the dispute, and it swiftly spread throughout X via fiery threads and viral memes. Trump, who never backs down, responded with a subtly implied threat that if the attacks continue, federal subsidies and government contracts for Musk's businesses, including SpaceX, may be in jeopardy. Trump's words were mostly limited to his Truth Social platform, but Musk's enormous impact on X, where his postings frequently receive hundreds of millions of impressions, far outstripped their reach. Elon Musk taking a picture with his phone \ US President Donald Trump ( SAUL LOEB and NICHOLAS KAMM / AFP) There were immediate real-world repercussions from the social media controversy. Investors' cautious and hesitant response to the high-profile controversy hurt Tesla's stock as well as Trump Media & Technology Group's shares. Kanye West's latest foray into the turbulent whirlpool of politics and pop culture is his attempt to mediate a peaceful resolution. Ye was once a strong Trump supporter who visited the White House in 2018 while wearing MAGA caps. He later started his own presidential campaign and broke with both parties. But in recent years, a series of antisemitic outbursts and unpredictable actions have damaged his public image. Restoring public trust has not been greatly aided by his recent attempts to portray those remarks as a "social experiment." Political power used to entail command of the national discourse. It might be the algorithm's owner today, and Musk has the advantage in visibility and narrative control thanks to his hold on X. It's unclear if Kanye West's internet outreach will have any effect. Trump and Elon Musk have yet to directly address the rapper's post. However, Kanye West's straightforward appeal, "Broooos please noooooo," may be the most cohesive message of solidarity we receive during an election season when social media conflict appears to match real policy discussion.
