UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group), the largest US-based private SaaS firm dealing in HR, Payroll, and workforce management solutions, announced the opening of its centre of excellence in Pune. This new India office is designed to deliver cutting-edge solutions to customers in 150 countries worldwide, leveraging the city's highly skilled and diverse talent pool. The new space in Pune will complement UKG's existing offices in Noida, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, contributing to the company's growing presence in the country. 'Our continued India expansion, starting here in Pune, will play a pivotal role in driving the next chapter of our global growth success,' said Nitin Chandel, group vice president & India country manager, UKG.
Girls from the EWS to get AI training
Pune: In a bid to provide training in AI to the young girls from the economically weaker section, Rotary Club of Bibwewadi Pune has joined hands with HG Foundation, Serrala India and Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT) to launch the initiative titled 'Asmita Next. An official announcement to this effect was made during a special program at Hyatt Regency organised to mark the completion of a decade of the Rotary Club of Bibwewadi, Pune. While sharing the details of 'Asmita Next', Dr Prachi Pandya said, 'The cost of training and the ultramodern Laptop required for this training ( ₹1 lakh to ₹1.25 lakh per student) shall be taken up by the Rotary Club of Bibwewadi – Pune.'

If the family doesn't plan to take H&M private, it should communicate that more clearly and stop buying shares, he added. The family has ramped up insider buying by reinvesting dividends, boosting its H&M stake to almost 64% from 35.5% over the past nine years via Ramsbury, a vehicle named after billionaire Stefan Persson's sprawling estate, one of the largest private landholdings in southern England. Including extended family holdings, the Perssons now control roughly 70% of the capital and some 85% of voting rights, according to H&M's website. YouTube is introducing a new feature that can help creators expand their global reach by tailoring their thumbnails for international audiences, according to a Business Insider report. According to a company spokesperson, the platform will soon allow select creators to upload different thumbnails for each dubbed version of their videos, enhancing the ability to localise content based on the viewer's language. The feature is expected to roll out in the coming days and will initially be available only to creators who already have access to YouTube's multi-language audio dubbing tools. YouTube has been gradually expanding these tools, which use AI to enable creators to dub their videos into other languages. The platform began testing this technology with a limited group of creators as early as 2023. 'We're always testing more ways for creators to reach new audiences,' the spokesperson told Business Insider.
