Three from Latur steal mangoes worth Rs3L
Pune: The Market Yard police are searching for three men, all Latur residents, for stealing mangoes worth Rs 3 lakh from a shop located in the Bail Bazaar in Market Yard between 2.30am and 3.30am on Tuesday.

According to the police, the suspects used a small truck to steal mangoes packed in 328 wooden boxes.
Vijay Yadav (19), a resident of Market Yard who works with the shop, lodged a complaint with the police later in the day. Senior inspector Manisha Patil of Market Yard police told TOI, "The mango shopkeeper put up a stall in the mango festival in a specially designated area in the Market Yard."
"The stall was open, and the boxes were kept behind the curtains of the stall. The trio came to the spot in a small truck and picked up the boxes," she said. "We suspected that one of the thieves used to work with the shopkeeper and later he left his job. We suspect he was the mastermind," Patil said.
"Our team will soon visit Latur to trace the mangoes and the suspects. However, we are not sure how to recover these mangoes and how to identify them," Patil said.

The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested real estate developer Supertech Limited and its promoter RK Arora for allegedly cheating IDBI bank of Rs 126 crore, according to officials. Previously, the Supreme Court in April directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to register preliminary enquiries into real estate projects launched by real estate firm Supertech Ltd and other builders to uncover the "unholy" nexus between banks or financial institutions with respect to various undelivered housing projects in the Delhi-National Capital Region. The CBI will investigate projects by Supertech and the role of banks which have given loans worth Rs 5157.86 crore since 1998 under the subvention scheme for multiple housing projects in Delhi-National Capital Region. The agency will also probe the role of government authorities- New Okhla Industrial Development Authority, Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Authority and others.
