Yahoo27-05-2025

Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - May 27, 2025) - IMPACT Silver Corp. (TSXV: IPT) (OTC PINK: ISVLF) (FSE: IKL) ("IMPACT" or the "Company") announces its financial and operating results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2025. The Company is pleased to report revenue of $10.7 million for Q1 2025, double the $5.3 million reported in Q1 2024. This significant increase was driven by the commencement of new production at the Plomosas mine and higher commodity prices. EBITDA for Q1 2025 was $1.0 million, marking a strong recovery from the negative $3.6 million in Q1 2024. Net loss for the quarter was $0.1 million, a notable improvement compared to the net loss of $4.4 million in the same period last year. This reflects a substantial year-over-year improvement, as inflationary pressures on costs eased and commodity prices remained strong, supported by a higher aggregate production volumes. At quarter-end, the Company had $6.6 million in cash and no structured debt.
In 2024, the Company has revised its accounting policies for early-stage exploration. This change has been applied retrospectively, resulting in $0.8 million in exploration costs being expensed in Q1 2025 and $1.2 million in Q1 2024. Subsequent to quarter-end, the Company announced an equity financing of up to $5.0 million.
Fred Davidson, President & CEO of IMPACT, stated, "Following several years of mine rehabilitation and aggressive exploration, along with ongoing efforts to manage inflationary cost pressures, I'm pleased to see our first-quarter results reflect the strength of having two high-performing assets operating at, or near full capacity. The team's continued focus on maintaining positive net operating income profitability has now delivered positive results for the second consecutive quarter. With both operations online and production continuing to grow, we expect 2025 to reflect our commitment to delivering value to shareholders in a strong commodity price environment supported by streamlined and efficient operations."
Q1 2025 Review
Zacualpan Silver-Lead-Zinc Operation
In Q1 2025, the Guadalupe mill processed 35,012 tonnes of mill feed at the Zacualpan/Guadalupe complex, representing a 10% increase from 31,735 tonnes in Q1 2024. This improvement reflects a recovery in throughput following the extreme weather event in September, which had caused power outages from the Mexican grid and washouts along key haul roads.
Silver production at the Guadalupe complex totaled 149,449 ounces in Q1 2025, up 9% from 137,291 ounces in the same period last year. Silver sales also rose by 10% year-over-year. The average silver head grade declined slightly by 2% to 157 grams per tonne (g/t), compared to 161 g/t in Q1 2024.
Revenue per tonne sold increased significantly, rising 50% to $202.37 in Q1 2025 from $134.59 in Q1 2024, while direct costs per tonne remained largely stable, increasing only 3% to $132.32 from $128.12.
Plomosas Zinc-Lead-Silver Operation
In Q1 2025, the mine processed 14,265 tonnes, a significant increase from 3,594 tonnes in Q1 2024. Average grades in Q1 2025 were 11.0% zinc, 7.7% lead, and 48 grams per tonne (g/t) silver. Sales for the quarter totaled 1,008 tonnes of zinc, 213 tonnes of lead, and over 12,087 ounces of silver.
Following nearly 18 months of rehabilitation work-including mobile equipment, processing facilities, infrastructure, and the underground mine-production has expanded substantially.
Initial exploration and development have focused on readily accessible mineralization; however, longer-term initiatives are also progressing to evaluate underexplored areas of the property. These efforts include the reinterpretation of historical Induced Polarization, Magnetic, and Gravitational surveys, as well as a new reconnaissance exploration program. As a result of recent exploration success, the Plomosas team has begun mining the "Mina Juárez" area, where extensions of historical workings by previous operators have been successfully delineated.
The production ramp-up has been both successful and consistent. Average daily throughput increased from approximately 39 tonnes per day (tpd) in Q1 2024 to 159 tpd in Q1 2025. The Company remains on track to achieve the targeted design capacity of 200 tpd later in 2025.
Outlook
Management believes the Company is now well positioned as an established intermediate producer, offering investors exposure to a diversified basket of strategic defensive and critical metals, supported by strong demand fundamentals.
Having successfully transitioned from a period of mine rehabilitation and operational adjustments; the Company has effectively doubled in size in under two years. While silver remains a core focus, increasing zinc and gold production is expected to further expand the Company's market presence and enhance shareholder value.
The Company is currently negotiating new offtake agreements with partners eager to secure long-term supply. Ongoing exploration across both assets is expected to support continued improvements in project economics and operational performance.
A recorded conference call reviewing the financial and production results of the quarter ended March 31, 2025 will be available on the Company website on May 28, 2025 at https://impactsilver.com/media/conference-calls/.

WINDSOR, ON, June 5, 2025 /CNW/ - Reko International Group Inc. (TSXV: REKO) today announced results for its third quarter ended April 30, 2025. Third Quarter Highlights: Sales increase of $742 or 7.7% over the prior year Gross profit improvement of $1.3M in third quarter and $1.8M year-to-date EPS of ($0.06) unfavourably impacted by ($0.16) per share due to restructuring costs Continued strong balance sheet with working capital improvement of $3.5M over prior year Financial Highlights: (in 000's,except for per share data)(1) Earned revenue is a non-IFRS measure and is calculated as sales less costs associated with purchased material and subcontracting. Earned revenue margin is an expression of earned revenue as a percentage of sales A reconciliation of this non-IFRS measure is included in the MD&A (2) Adjusted EBITDA is a non-IFRS measure and is defined as adjusted earnings from operations excluding depreciation and amortization. A reconciliation of this non-IFRS measure is included in the MD&A. Consolidated sales for the quarter ended April 30, 2025, increased by 7.7%, or $742, compared to the same period last year. Sales in certain areas of the business are influenced by the number of active projects, the value of awards, and the timing of project milestones, all of which can vary significantly by job, sector, and customer. Year-to-date sales are $31,372, representing an 11.0% decline compared to the prior year, reflecting reduced project volumes in the automotive sector and continued economic uncertainty, including tariff-related delays in project awards. Gross profit increased to 17.1% of sales, compared to 4.4% in the prior-year quarter, driven by improved execution on fixed-price contracts and a more selective go-to-market strategy. A lower volume of projects and their stage of completion also contributed to reduced direct project costs, including materials and subcontracting. In addition, the Company continues to manage fixed labour costs through various measures to better align with current sales levels. Net loss for the quarter ended April 30, 2025, was ($352), or ($0.06) per share, compared to a net loss of ($849), or ($0.15) per share, in the same quarter of the prior year. Results for the quarter include a net unfavourable impact of ($0.16) per share from non-operating items comprised of restructuring costs of ($0.16) per share, a write-down of assets totaling ($0.05) per share and a gain of $0.05 per share related to net insurance proceeds. In the same period last year, non-operating items resulted in a net expense of $0.04 per share. "In response to continued economic headwinds, including political uncertainty and potential tariff impacts in our key U.S. markets, we undertook a strategic restructuring to align our cost base with current conditions," stated Diane Reko, CEO. "While we delivered improved sales and earnings compared to the same period last year, stabilization is still underway. We are focused on strengthening performance and executing our strategy to position the Company for sustained long-term growth." During the quarter, the Company purchased and subsequently cancelled 5,700 shares under the normal course issuer bid that was announced on January 6, 2025 at a net cost of $ 21. Supreme Court rules in favor of U.S. gun makers in Mexico's lawsuit

Various semiautomatic handguns are displayed in a case at a gun store in Dundee, Ill. (2010). On Thursday, the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously ruled against a lawsuit filed by Mexico that accuses seven American gun manufacturers and one wholesaler of unlawful sale practices, and arming drug dealers. File Photo by Brian Kersey/UPI | License Photo June 5 (UPI) -- The U.S. Supreme Court unanimously ruled Thursday against a lawsuit filed by Mexico that accuses seven American gun manufacturers and one wholesaler of unlawful sale practices, and arming drug dealers. "The question presented is whether Mexico's complaint plausibly pleads that conduct. We conclude it does not," wrote Justice Elena Kagan in the opinion of the court. Mexico filed suit in March against a group of companies that includes Smith & Wesson, Beretta, Colt and Glock, alleging that the defendants violated the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, or PLCAA, which can allow for some lawsuits against the makers and sellers of firearms. As stated in the case document, Mexico purports the accused companies "aided and abetted unlawful gun sales that routed firearms to Mexican drug cartels," and failed to exercise "reasonable care" to keep their guns from being trafficked into Mexico. Kagan explained that it falls on the plaintiff in this case to properly show that the defendant companies directly committed violations of PLCAA, or otherwise "the predicate violation opens a path to making a gun manufacturer civilly liable for the way a third party has used the weapon it made." Kagan did include that "Mexico has a severe gun violence problem, which its government views as coming from north of the border." She added that the country has only a single gun store, which is slightly inaccurate as Mexico currently has two, but in regard of the one store she mentioned, Kagan claimed that it "issues fewer than 50 gun permits each year." She also purported gun traffickers can purchase weaponry in the United States, often illegally, and then take those guns to drug cartels in Mexico. Kagan further noted that as per the Mexican government, "as many as 90% of the guns recovered at crime scenes in Mexico originated in the United States." Nonetheless, the court ruled "that Mexico has not plausibly alleged aiding and abetting on the manufacturers' part." This is why, Kagan explained, that the defendant companies are immune under the PLCAA. In a concurring statement, Justice Clarence Thomas wrote that the court's opinion hasn't resolved what exactly a future plaintiff will have to show to prove a defendant has committed a PLCAA violation, and that Mexico hadn't "adequately pleaded its theory of the case." Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson also included a concurring statement that Congress passed PLCAA in order to decide "which duties to impose on the firearms industry," and that ignoring PLCAA's set reasons that do "authorize lawsuits like the one Mexico filed here" would twist PLCAA's main purpose.
