But I—a bisexual woman living in Brooklyn—am here to inform you that they absolutely should be. Why? I love to channel the TikTok's Wrong Shoe Theory with my accessory collection (Wrong Accessory Theory?), but it's also important to love your trucker hat for who it is. That means leaning into the vibe and playing up the Hot Mechanic energy in a barn jacket and utility pants. As with most accessories, baseball caps are an easy yes when it comes to trench coat styling. Together, the pair give off a casual-cool vibe. Finish with leggings and loafers for the laziest possible outfit that still looks extremely put-together. A denim baseball cap works just as hard as a good pair of jeans. And when you wear the two together? Magic. From there, you can add pops of color and texture as you see fit, but I personally recommend a little crimson red. This tops the list as one of my favorite ways to wear a baseball hat. There's just something so effing cool about throwing one on with an expensive-looking power suit and a pair of hoop earrings. Put your Labubu down for just a sec, because there's another accessory that needs styling: your dad cap. Cover it in brooches, or even earrings, for a glitzy take on the sports favorite. If a man did this, it would absolutely give me the ick. But with an oversize blazer, tortoise shell sunglasses, and a bitchy little rectangle bag? It's actually a moment. Taylor Swift's signature glam has its merits—I won't deny it. But if you're feeling a little edgier, try swapping her cherry red lip for a baseball cap in the same shade. It'll give a cool contrast to the classic all-black 'fit. If you've scrolled through street style pics from Copenhagen Fashion Week, one thing is clear: Those girls love a blue striped button-down. Add a baseball cap and a frilly bag to dupe the Scandi-girl look. Any frat boy will tell you: This is a winning combo. If you want to make the combo feel more baddie than bro, make sure to pair several layers of Rihanna-inspired gold chains with your cargo pants. Layers of cream always look chic—because if you can get through a whole day without spilling on them, you know you have your life together. Use a matching baseball cap as the finishing touch for a tennis match or weekend park stroll. Camo hats are back, baby! I will not be digging deeper into why that is but they do add a fun, eclectic vibe to whatever you pair them with. Just go with it! Bermudas have been on every mood board since May and I will personally see to it that that continues into 2026. This fall, you can style your baseball cap of choice with your own pair and a tight-fitting sweater. Maximize the joint slay of these two flop-proof basics. Sprinkle in a little camo print and you'll be a hit at any trendy dive bar. To really test the bounds of a baseball cap's styling capabilities, I recommend wearing it with a more dressy look. When done right, a trucker hat will make even the more formal-looking skirt feel cool. Mansi Patel, Netflix's Senior Director with Product Discovery, told CNN that she and her team are always looking for new ways of curating movies and series on the platform. 'This specific one, I think is a really fun, culturally relevant way to get into your favorite show or film that feels really personal to you,' Patel said. The idea for zodiac watchlists, however, was more than just vibes. 'This one came up because we noticed that Mercury was in retrograde,' she said, laughing. 'And it was around the release of [Netflix's hit sci-fi series] 'Black Mirror.'' Mercury in retrograde is usually associated with technical glitches, delays and communication mixups. While that didn't impact the rollout of 'Black Mirror' last spring, Patel said it got her team thinking about astrology and content. They brainstormed different ideas before ultimately aligning personality qualities associated with the 12 astrological signs to a selection of entertainment that might appeal to each group. 'I'm just hoping that when we launch this, just like a lot of our other collections, people feel like Netflix hears them and sees them and understands who they are,' Patel said. That means if you're a Leo and your person is a Capricorn, you can check out viewing options for each other before you Netflix and chill. (Though you might have bigger problems, because astrologists say these two signs are not very compatible.) We're just the messengers, by the way, so don't blame us. Besides, Netflix has plenty to watch if you are going through a break up. There's a collection for that, too.
