The Victorian Allan government is pushing to build 240 km of powerlines and transmission towers in the race to harness renewable energy.

‘Disturbing' anti-Israel video claims responsibility for Melbourne car-bombing
Sky News host Chris Kenny has reacted to a 'disturbing' anti-Israel video which links anti-Israel rhetoric with anti-imperialism and Indigenous rights in a 'bizarre rant'. 'In this disturbing video, now the subject of a police investigation, the speaker claims responsibility for this car-bombing a week ago at a Melbourne technology firm involved in defence industry work, including for the Joint Strike Fighter used by the US, UK and Australia, among other nations, with technological co-operation from Israel,' Mr Kenny said. 'The new threatening video even includes tips on how to firebomb cars. 'This is worrying stuff, as you can see. And it comes hot on the heels of last week's firebombing of a synagogue in Melbourne, and a violent anti-Israel protest at a Melbourne restaurant.'

Albanese's ‘strange' response to US commitment in a China-Taiwan war questioned
Strategic Analysis Australia Director Peter Jennings discusses Prime Minister Anthony Albanese's inability to answer questions on Australia's role in a potential China–Taiwan war. '[America] is really just asking, 'hey Australia, are you still with us … because you are behaving in a strange way if you are,'' Mr Jennings told Sky News host Peta Credlin. 'I think it's perfectly reasonable for the Americans to be asking those questions, seeing as it's their technology, they're proposing to sell to us. 'Unfortunately, the PM just seems to be incapable of saying that, and Albanese is now letting himself be played by the Pentagon."

Trump administration at the ‘end of its tether' in dealing with Albanese
Strategic Analysis Australia Director Peter Jennings discusses Australia's role in a potential China–Taiwan war. 'I think the Trump administration has come to the end of its tether with dealing with Prime Minister Albanese,' Mr Jennings told Sky News host Peta Credlin. 'They are puzzled at the string of insults directed towards the president, and they're offended by the fact that Albanese can't get on the phone or find a flight to get to Washington, DC. 'They are returning a bit of fire with fire.'
