‘Smarter than I thought': Kamala Harris not running for California governor

Sky News AU7 days ago
Political advisor and commentator CJ Pearson reacts to former US vice president Kamala Harris announcing she will not run for California governor.
'Looking at this decision, she may be a little bit smarter than what I thought she was initially, but maybe not if she's still weighing up a presidential run in 2028,' Mr Pearson told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
'The American people will do exactly what they did in 2024, reject her resoundingly because her problems will still remain the same.'

Trump stormed back on a vibe. But it's all downhill from here

This time last year, Kamala Harris was cruising towards the White House. ('Enthusiasm is off the charts', as one headline declared.) Except, to anyone with a political antenna, she wasn't. Her poll lead was modest, considering that polls tend to overstate Democratic support. She was still the shakiest of public performers. Her running mate Tim Walz dealt in a Regular Guy schtick that was going to wear thin in time.

‘Actual moron': Megyn Kelly hilariously ridicules Kamala's ‘weird cackle' and ‘verbal tics'

'The Megyn Kelly Show' host Megyn Kelly has commented on Kamala Harris' recent interview to promote her new book. 'She's so insufferable. Her weird cackle ... that characterises all of her interviews,' she told Sky News host Paul Murray. 'This woman was not able to say anything about this book other than to tease that you know, 'my birthday is in October, the election is in November, ha-ha figure it out' ... what are you saying, you idiot? We have no idea what you are even trying to tease. 'Then ... her weird little verbal tics.'

Media telling ‘half-truths' about Israel-Gaza conflict

GT Communications' Gemma Tognini slams the media for allowing itself to be 'manipulated' by the Israel-Gaza conflict. 'What we're talking about here is a historic issue with most of the media in relation to the state of Israel, and that's just committing modern-day blood libels,' Ms Tognini told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. 'In the context of the current situation in the Middle East, it's important for people to remember that many things can be true. 'The media has been allowing itself to be manipulated and telling half-truths about the situation in the Middle East.'
