Two Swift Titles Return to the Top Country Albums Chart Swift fills two spaces on the Top Country Albums chart this week. Both of her titles return to Billboard's ranking of the most consumed country collections in the United States after being absent just last frame. Speak Now (Taylor's Version) reenters the tally at No. 48, while her self-titled debut project is back at No. 50, landing in the lowest rung on the roster. A Look Back at Taylor Swift's Country Beginnings Swift began her career with her self-titled effort, which dropped in 2006. That set — released when she was still just a teenager — produced hits like "Our Song" and "Teardrops on My Guitar" and quickly turned her into a household name. Speak Now (Taylor's Version) arrived in the summer of 2023 as part of her ongoing re-recording series, which may now be over. The updated take on Speak Now came 13 years after the original and featured slight reworkings, as well as previously unreleased tracks. Just days ago, the track reentered the tally at No. 75 after going missing for about a month. That position beat the previous high of No. 77, which the track reached in late June 2023. Now, as July wears on, Del Rey's classic soars again. A Decade Later and Still Gaining 'Summertime Sadness' didn't reach the Official Streaming chart until September 2022, a decade after it was initially released. The song has returned to the streaming-only tally in the U.K. almost every year since, though it did completely miss the roster in 2024, oddly enough. Born to Die Gains as Well 'Summertime Sadness' is featured on Born to Die, Del Rey's major label debut album and her breakthrough project. As people in the U.K. continue to press play on the tune, the collection rises once again on the Official Albums Streaming chart, lifting from No. 36 to No. 31. It also ascends to No. 32 on the list of the most-consumed EPs and full-lengths in the U.K. At the same time, purchases of Born to Die appear to be dropping, as the set falls on the Official Albums Sales, Official Physical Albums, and Official Vinyl Albums tallies.
