watchOS 26: Everything Apple announced for its wearable at WWDC 2025
During Apple's WWDC keynote event today in Cupertino, company execs announced, among other things, the latest Apple Watch software: watchOS 12 , er, watchOS 26. Like iOS, macOS, iPadOS and the rest, the latest generation of watchOS will now be appended with the upcoming year, instead of a sequential number. What would have been watchOS 12, is now watchOS 26.
Aside from the new name, there's a new look for watchOS, too. Apple gave its entire suite of software a redesign, one that takes aesthetic cues and the "physicality and richness" of visionOS, the software used in the company's VR headset, the Vision Pro. It's the biggest redesign since iOS 7. The look is called "liquid glass" and dynamically reacts to movement and responds to the content on screen. Menus now better fit to the rounded corners of the hardware. Notifications and other information now involve translucent backgrounds, giving the interface a glass-like appearance.
The watchOS 26 also brings new features including Workout Buddy, plus Apple Intelligence upgrades that makes the Smart Stack more useful and Messages notifications more intelligent. Workout Buddy can give you spoken coaching and the Workout app itself has a new new layout. Your watch will also suggest music to listen to based on the workout type.
This latest suite of features join those announced during last year's WWDC, in which Apple previewed watchOS 11. The best of the bunch (for me anyway) was the ability to pause your Rings for a day in the Activity app. Other features included a Training Load metric that rates your efforts during exercise, comparing it with your output over time, and the Vitals app, which tracks overnight health metrics for those who wear their watch to bed.

Corrado Garibaldi: The Contrarian Trader Who Profits When Others Panic
In the high-stakes world of Trading Invest Celebrity Italy, where herd mentality often leads to costly mistakes, one investor has built his success on a simple but ruthless principle: When others zig, zag. Corrado Garibaldi—better known in finance circles as Lord Conrad—has carved a reputation as a maverick trader who thrives on going against the grain. His mantra? 'Buy the fear. Sell the euphoria.' The Unconventional Path to Trading Mastery Unlike Wall Street's typical Ivy League-educated financiers, Garibaldi is a self-made trader with no formal finance background. An Italian native, he entered the markets out of necessity, driven by a desire to take control of his financial future. 'I never studied economics or attended business school,' he admits. 'I learned by doing—making mistakes, refining strategies, and realizing that most people lose money because they follow the crowd.' The Contrarian Edge: Why 99.9999% of Traders Are Wrong Garibaldi's core philosophy is rooted in contrarian investing—a strategy that capitalizes on market overreactions. 'When everyone is buying, I'm selling. When panic sets in, I'm buying,' he says. 'The masses are almost always wrong at extremes. That's where the real opportunities lie.' This approach has allowed him to profit from major market swings, whether during the crypto crashes of 2022 or the AI stock frenzy of 2024. Two Sides of the Same Coin: Trader by Day, Investor by Night Garibaldi operates in two distinct modes: As a trader, he's a speed-focused tactician, scalping the Nasdaq and executing swing trades with military precision. As an investor, he's a patient wealth-builder, holding long-term positions in giants like Apple, Microsoft, and Tesla while diversifying into bonds and crypto. His portfolio strategy? 99% long-term holdings, 1% high-octane trading—a balance that maximizes growth while keeping risk in check. The Trader's Mindset: Why Psychology Beats IQ For Garibaldi, trading isn't just about charts—it's about mastering fear and greed. 'Most traders fail because they let emotions drive decisions,' he says. 'The key is to stay mechanical. Follow the plan, not the panic.' He enforces strict rules: ✔ Never risk more than 1% on a single trade ✔ Always use stop-losses ✔ Ignore hype—trade the data, not the narrative 2025 and Beyond: Adapt or Die In an era of AI-driven markets and geopolitical volatility, Garibaldi remains agile—constantly refining strategies and engaging with traders worldwide via social media. 'Markets change. If you're not learning, you're losing,' he warns. Final Word: The Slow Road to Trading Success For aspiring traders, Garibaldi's advice is refreshingly honest: 'This isn't a get-rich-quick game. Consistency beats luck. Small, smart gains compound over time—that's how real wealth is built.' Want to see his strategies in action? Visit Trading Invest Celebrity Italy. TIME BUSINESS NEWS

Apple announces macOS Tahoe 26 with new design and revamped search features
Antonio G. Di Benedetto is a reviewer covering laptops and the occasional gadget. He spent over 15 years in the photography industry before joining The Verge as a deals writer in 2021. Apple announced a new version of macOS during its WWDC 2025 keynote presentation, featuring a new design, improved search functions, a new Phone app, and an entirely new game launcher with overlay. The new update, expected later this year, is called macOS Tahoe 26. Upon release this fall, Tahoe will be available for all Apple silicon-based Macs as well as some Intel-based Macs with a T2 Security chip. Developers can start beta testing it today, and a public beta is scheduled next month. While Apple is sticking with California-themed names in Tahoe, this marks the first time it is numbering macOS to align with its yearly update schedule — with 26 replacing last year's macOS 15. This year is 2025, but most of macOS 26's lifespan will be during 2026. (Think of it like the model year of cars, which never gets confusing.) The big new change for macOS 26 is an overhauled design, following Apple's new Liquid Glass aesthetic also announced at WWDC 25. The glass-like style encompasses the Dock, toolbars, app icons, widgets, and colors. Now, similar to the iPhone, users will be able to theme their Macs with color-matched folders and app icons that can be tinted. Tahoe is getting its own Phone app for use with a paired iPhone via Continuity. The app is modeled after the iPhone version, complete with Favorites, Voicemails, Call Screening, and Hold Assist. There's also support for Live Activities from a nearby iPhone, allowing you to see live updates from your phone — like the status of an Uber on its way to you — on your Mac's menu bar. Apple claims Spotlight is getting its biggest update to date, allowing users to take direct actions through it, like taking a note, sending an email, or running a Shortcut. Users can view all of their apps within Spotlight search, allowing it to even act as a mini launcher, including apps from their iPhone via mirroring. Additionally, Spotlight search results are listed and ranked based on what should be most relevant to you, with the ability to filter your search further. Spotlight's most power-user-focused features include the ability to run Shortcuts and actions within the app you're currently using and quick keys for faster access to actions within an app — 'sm' for 'send message' or 'ar' for 'add reminder.' Tahoe also has new Apple Intelligence features, such as Live Translations, improved Shortcuts, and updates to Genmoji, Image Playground, and Reminders. You'll be able to get live, automatic language translations in the Messages app — both incoming ones and outbound ones you write. And, similar to Windows 11's feature from last year, you can get translated live captions of someone speaking on a FaceTime call. Apple is also putting a new Games app in macOS 26. Apple Games gives users a dedicated app for cataloging and launching their games, discovering new titles, and syncing up with friends for playing online. There's also a Game Overlay for adjusting settings, chatting, and sending game invites. For game developers, Apple is also introducing Metal 4, the latest version of its graphics API, including MetalFX Frame Interpolation and Denoising to improve frame rates. Last year's macOS 15 Sequoia was also first announced at WWDC, and it gave Mac users new features like iPhone mirroring, proper window tiling, and access to Apple Intelligence.

iPadOS 26 is here — how to download the developer beta now
iPadOS 26 is slated to arrive this fall, and once it's here, it promises to bring a slew of updates for the best iPads capable of running the new software. You'll see the difference right from the jump, as iPadOS 26 will utilize the same Liquid Glass design language coming to all of Apple's software platforms. A new windowing system designed for iPads allows you to move and resize apps to your liking. Those apps should be more useful since they will communicate better with one another thanks to Apple Intelligence. While we'll have to wait until the fall for the full release, you can get started with iPadOS 26 right now by downloading the developer beta, which Apple released at WWDC 2025 yesterday (June 9). However, keep in mind that the developer beta might contain bugs that could negatively affect your iPad, so proceed with caution. If you don't want to put your iPad at risk but still want to check out iPadOS 26, you can wait for the (safer) public beta that should arrive in July. But if you're still feeling up to it, here's how to download the iPadOS 26 developer beta. Before moving forward, you need to know if iPadOS 26 is compatible with your iPad. Here's a list of all compatible iPads. Of the tablets capable of running the current iPadOS 18, only the 7th generation iPad has lost support with this update. Before you install the beta, make sure to back up your iPad, just in case anything goes wrong and you need to return to iPadOS 18. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. First, head to and sign up for the beta software program. Launch the Settings app and tap General, followed by Software Update. If you have the latest version of iPadOS, the iPadOS 26 developer beta may already be waiting for you. If not, tap Beta Updates and select the iPadOS 26 Developer Beta from the list. Select either Update Now, which will start the beta downloading right away, or Update Tonight, which will delay the beta until later. You'll be prompted to enter your passcode, and if you've selected Update Now, the download will commence. Downloading betas can take a while, so make sure your iPad has enough power or is attached to a charger when you're downloading the iPadOS 26 beta. Once you've downloaded the beta, you'll be prompted to either install it now or wait until later. When installation is done, your iPad will restart. After you enter your passcode, iPadOS 26 will be installed and ready to test. The download could take a while. And that's how you download the iPadOS 26 developer beta! Again, if you're worried that this developer beta could introduce bugs or other performance issues, you can wait for the public beta to arrive in July.
