NBA guard Ty Jerome asks $2.59M for his modern LA home

New York Post09-07-2025
Ty Jerome — the NBA guard who had a great 2024-2025 year with the Cleveland Cavaliers — is listing his home for sale in the hills of Studio City, Los Angeles for $2.59 million.
The news comes as Jerome signed with the Memphis Grizzlies in free agency following reports that the Cavs didn't make a 'serious effort' to re-sign him.
'The house in LA was and is amazing, but I'm just ready to move on from it, and, yes — I'm buying in Memphis,' Jerome told Gimme Shelter in a statement.

The 2,886-square-foot ranch-style residence comes with four bedrooms and five baths. Outside, there's a pool and a fire pit — all on 0.27 acres. Jerome bought the dwelling for $2.58 million in February of 2024.
'For me, the magic of the home is the variety of outdoor spaces,' said Douglas Elliman's Jordyn Taylor Braff, of the Netflix show 'Selling the City,' who is listing the home with Elliman's Holly Edwards.
The open floor plan boasts a large living room and dining room area with a chef's kitchen, which includes two custom built-in wine fridges.

There's also a 750-square-foot, four-car garage that doubles as a flexible space — it could be a production office, a flexible creative studio or a gym.
In addition, custom accordion doors open to mountain views, a deck with a built-in barbecue and an entertainment area.

"Thought I Was Going To Finish My Career With Luka": Dorian Finney-Smith Opens Up On His Bond With Luka Doncic

"Thought I Was Going To Finish My Career With Luka": Dorian Finney-Smith Opens Up On His Bond With Luka Doncic originally appeared on Fadeaway World. When Luka Doncic was traded to the Lakers, it became increasingly evident to the world that the Lakers are planning to make him the face of their franchise for the coming decade. One of the key players on the Lakers who was delighted to hear this news was Doncic's former teammate Dorian Finney-Smith. He almost couldn't believe that Doncic was headed to the Lakers. In a recent interview with Wavy TV 10, Finney-Smith spoke about how he felt when he reunited with Luka Doncic in the Lakers and how Doncic reacted to his move to the Rockets. 'Oh, man. I was so happy, man. To be honest, I thought I was going to finish my career with Luka in LA, but like I said, things happened. We were excited, you know, happy to get him back. Also sad that everything that happened, you know, with the trade, you know, him being, you know, just the whole emotional thing, the bad talk about his weight, and just all that, cause I knew who he is as a person." "He, you know, he won't talk badly about anybody, and you know, he cares. Just like when I went to the Rockets, he shot me a text, 'I'm happy for you. I'm proud of you. I know you're excited to be back with your kids and family.' Things like that show me that he cared.' Doncic and Finney-Smith had been teammates ever since Doncic was drafted to the NBA in 2018. They both played on the Mavericks till 2023 before Finney-Smith was traded to the Nets for Kyrie Irving. They then reunited in LA while playing for the Lakers last season, and now have been separated again due to Finney-Smith's move to the Rockets. Experts were shocked to see the Lakers let Dorian Finney-Smith walk away as a free agent this summer, considering his fit on the roster with Luka Doncic. The Lakers indicated that they plan to rebuild around Doncic this summer, but they let go of a key asset who could've been crucial for the Lakers in the coming seasons. As a sharpshooting wing who is defensively skilled, Finney Smith perfectly fits the profile of the type of player the Lakers need at the moment to play alongside Luka. A career 36.2% shooter from beyond the arc, Finney-Smith makes 38.1% of his corner threes on average, which became a key asset for the Mavericks in the time this duo played together there. Doncic's ability to drive in and collapse the defense so he can kick out the ball to the corner for an open shot became the bread and butter of their offensive strategy. The Lakers have now replaced Dorian Finney-Smith with Jake LaRavia, who last played for the Sacramento Kings and Memphis Grizzlies. Do you think the Lakers will be able to replicate the chemistry between Finney-Smith and Doncic with LaRavia? I highly doubt it. Fans Erupt As Luka Doncic Shows Off Lean Physique While Nailing A Halfcourt Shot

Fans Erupt As Luka Doncic Shows Off Lean Physique While Nailing A Halfcourt Shot originally appeared on Fadeaway World. Los Angeles Lakers fans will be eager to see what Luka Doncic has in store this upcoming season. With an emphasis on getting into shape for the new season, Doncic recently showed off the fruits of his labor. In a recent video, the Lakers superstar can be seen looking significantly leaner. And to add emphasis, the 26-year-old drained a shot from halfcourt, causing fans on social media to go berserk. Doncic is widely considered one of the most gifted basketball players in the NBA. Now that he's in what looks like the best shape of his career, fans couldn't contain their excitement. With several fans sharing their reactions to the video on X, we take a look at some of their responses. "Tell me he isn't looking similar to his rookie build. He's lean as hell now!" commented one fan. "My MVP," added another. Another fan displayed some optimism and claimed, "No worries, those earlier years were just for fun. Now, he's about to enter his prime. S**t about to get ugly for the league." "Luka's MVP season is coming," said one fan, predicting big things from the Lakers' star. Another fan added to this with, "So I'm placing my bet right now for Luka Doncic MVP." "Holy fawk, we are so back. We are winning MVP this season," boldly stated another fan. "Luka Doncic is in the best shape of his life," claimed another. One fan noted the impact this weight loss could have on his game by saying, "Attack-the-rim Luka bout to make a return this season." A Mavericks fan also commented on this marked change and lamented, "Why couldn't he do this in Dallas?" "That's the next GOAT," claimed another fan, acknowledging his potential for greatness. The expectations of Doncic to dominate next season are immense, especially given the criticism he has faced for his defensive shortcomings in the playoffs. The scrutiny the superstar has faced since donning the Purple and Gold has acted as fuel. His response has been a deepened commitment to the team, reflected in his ongoing conditioning and offseason recruiting efforts. Having played a significant role in bringing Deandre Ayton and Marcus Smart to the Lakers in free agency, it is abundantly clear that Doncic is invested in the team's future. When also considering that the Lakers are officially on the guard's timeline now, planning their roster construction with upcoming free agency classes in mind, the team and the player appear to be in close collaboration. Doncic is currently gearing up for his activities with the Slovenian national team at the EuroBasket tournament. However, the 26-year-old is expected to return to Los Angeles before joining the national team to sign his contract extension with the Lakers, further cementing his place as the face of the story was originally reported by Fadeaway World on Jul 26, 2025, where it first appeared.

Jalen Williams responds back to social media haters who call him 'corny'

Growing up a Kobe Bryant fan, Jalen Williams recently paid homage to his basketball hero. Playing an entire playoff run with an injured wrist, the 24-year-old helped lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to their first NBA championship. When you win the Larry O'Brien trophy, you've earned all the bragging rights. Williams has taken advantage of that benefit. He's flexed the championship after being widely questioned on whether he was a good enough second-best player on a title contender. Williams took to social media to share a side-by-side photo of himself and Bryant. Both wore pajamas at the free-throw line to attempt a one-handed shot. The other hand was wrapped in a cast after surgery. As is the case for most social media posts with a social-media-savvy NBA star, there were some criticisms from fan accounts. The buzzword used in Williams' reply was "corny" as he compared himself to Bryant. The Los Angeles Lakers legend has quite a vocal fanbase. That's what happens when you win five rings on the NBA's marquee franchise. The 23-year-old received criticism for being a copycat. Of course, none of it matters in real life. What these anonymous accounts say online rarely reflects Williams' reality. He replied to an Instagram comment to show that. An account said they felt bad that the 24-year-old was flamed on social media for showing love to his favorite player of all time. He's never been shy about his fandom of Bryant since he arrived in the NBA. "tbh the same people calling me corny couldn't hold my water in real life, prolly would ask for a selfie if we was face to face," Williams wrote. That's probably a good way to view it if you're Williams. It comes with the territory of being one of the NBA's best players and recently winning an NBA championship. There will always be a section of fans who villainize him, even if they need to resort to off-court qualities like his personality or how he carries himself online. All you can do is shrug your shoulders and move on. The Thunder have dealt with what every NBA superteam has dealt with since the league was created. The only difference between now and the beginning is that social media platforms allow critics' voices to be louder.
