Street Food Summer Is Here
Street food is one of the essential joys of summer. After months spent hiding from the elements inside temperature-controlled restaurants, there's nothing like sitting in the sunshine with barbecue from one of Austin's most exciting food trucks, digging into a cream cheese-slathered Seattle-style hot dog outside the Mariners game, or cooling off with one of New Orleans's quintessential sno-balls. Across the country, chefs are setting up stands and firing up sidewalk grills to serve street foods both classic and groundbreaking. There's a lot to eat out there this summer. Get to it. — Nicholas Mancall-Bitel, Eater travel editor Map Apr 28 Eater New Orleans The Finest Food Trucks in Austin

The Gilded Age Season 4 - News, Cast, Updates, More
The penultimate episode of the third season of The Gilded Age ended not with the clang of a champagne glass, but with a bang (quite literally) when the Russell family patriarch found himself on the receiving end of a gun moments before the credits rolled. It was a shocking moment, particularly given the relatively poised and civil nature of the series — though, given poor John Adams's equally shocking death in the previous episode, it's becoming a bit of a pattern these days. So will George Russell manage to survive his injuries? The trailer for the season finale makes it seem like his fate could go either way. But what about the fate of The Gilded Age itself? With the show's third season coming to a close, many fans will undoubtedly be curious about when — or even if — the HBO Max hit series will return for a fourth go-round. And since it would be downright rude not to oblige, here's everything you need to know about The Gilded Age season 4: Unlike the fate of George Russell, the future of The Gilded Age is already known. HBO officially renewed the series for a fourth season back in July, which means more drama and societal hijinks is on the horizon. 'We couldn't be prouder of the undeniable viewership heights The Gilded Age has achieved this season,' HBO's Francesca Orsi said in a statement, as per Deadline. 'Transporting us to 1880s New York City, Julian Fellowes and the enormously talented cast and crew have created a 'cant-miss it' entertainment experience from week to week, and we're delighted to continue exploring these characters' grand ambitions for what we promise will be a thrilling fourth season.' Considering that we don't know how the season will end, it's impossible to say for sure what sort of content season 4 will cover. But odds are that a lot of these storylines from season 3 will be wrapping up to make way for new adventures and problems, in equal measure. Most likely, season 4 should reveal where Marion and Larry stand in regards to their romantic relationship, once and for all, now that the whole truth is out in the open. And, of course, depending upon when or if George Russell is able to recover from his injuries, there are bound to be lasting ripple effects from the shooting for the entire Russell family, both physically and emotionally. This show has been fairly regular with churning out seasons as opposed to keeping fans waiting for years on end, though their release schedule has been a little sporadic. Season 1 premiered in January 2022, followed by season 2 debuting in October 2023. Meanwhile, season 3 kicked off in June 2025. That makes predicting the season 4 premiere a little tricky — at least when it comes to guessing the month — but it seems fairly plausible that the series will return sometime in 2026, barring any scheduling conflicts with the cast, which isn't too far away. Normally, I would say that this show doesn't have a history of killing off central characters a la Game of Thrones-style, which would make every character's return very likely. However, that sentiment doesn't really seem to track these days. Morgan Spector recently told Variety that viewers should be 'very worried' in regards to George Russell's fate on the show, even going so far as to admit that 'I don't have a contract for next season yet, so who knows?' But while poor George's head may be on the chopping block, you would think many of the other key players will be coming back, including Carrie Coon, Christine Baranski, Cynthia Nixon, Denée Benton, Louisa Jacobson, Harry Richardson, and Blake Ritson, among many others. Though, this season has been particularly fraught with peril, so with the finale still looming on the horizon, who knows what could happen.

Jennifer Lawrence Just Made a Copenhagen Trend Look NYC-Appropriate
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. In the early aughts, skirts over pants were a Disney Channel staple co-signed by Ashley Tisdale and Miley Cyrus. More recently, the Scandinavian style set ruling Copenhagen Fashion Week has reclaimed them as an effortlessly chic, full-coverage outfit. Now, as of July 23, Jennifer Lawrence has signaled skirts over pants are New York City-bound. has been surprisingly active this week—she's endorsed three street style fads so far, including lace-trimmed looks, suede summer bags, and now, skirts over pants. For a dinner with friends in NYC, Lawrence layered sheer trousers underneath a knee-length wrap skirt. By choosing lightweight pieces, the Hunger Games star made the trend feel flirty and fresh. Next, Lawrence dressed down her bottoms with an oversize T-shirt in charcoal gray. For the first time since May, the flats enthusiast swapped her signature shoes for strappy heels. In the accessory department, Lawrence channeled her inner Scandi girl again, first, with a statement necklace. She paired the pendant with a made-to-order $750 choker from Sophie Buhai. To finish, Lawrence brightened her all-black attire with The Row's Bourse Bag, an olive green croc-embossed clutch. Similar to her $30,000 alligator Lady Bag, the Bourse is one of her rarest The Row finds. The croc version is not available to the wider public, but its leather counterpart retails for $1,590. View Deal Skirts over pants didn't always look so sleek. During her Disney Channel days, Tisdale frequently styled the antithesis of Lawrence's look; a bedazzled sequin skirt overtop low-rise jeans. In 2005, she even wore the duo on the Ice Princess red carpet, with a piano purse in tow, no less. Fans of Scandi style know it's become rebranded into an aesthetic calling card, appearing at Copenhagen Fashion Week year after year. Attendees regularly use the same hack as Lawrence: coupling a sheer skirt with opaque pants, which immediately modernizes the early-2000s signature. The look is also branching out across the European and U.S. runway circuit. During the Fall/Winter 2025 shows, skirts over pants returned to the runway at the hands of Chanel, Michael Kors, and Balmain (to name a few designers). On the Chanel catwalk, a model showcased a sheer tulle midi over light gray trousers. Michael Kors, on the other hand, dressed a model in monochrome, most notably a pleated midi skirt and matching pants. All this to say? Skirts over pants are clearly in their comeback era. Which A-lister will be brave enough to follow Lawrence's lead? My bet's on Hailey Bieber. Shop Skirt Pants Inspired by Jennifer Lawrence View Deal View Deal View Deal View Deal View Deal View Deal

Jennifer Lopez Pairs Her Signature $60 Flip-Flops With a $2,200 Prada Bag
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. After years of attending Jennifer Lopez's unofficial school of style, I know she prefers designer bags with a four-figure price point or higher. As for her footwear? She won't rule out more affordable finds. Case in point: On August 5, Lopez paired a $2,200 Prada bag with $60 flip-flops in Istanbul, Turkey, the latest stop on her her Up All Night tour. Before performing her greatest hits at the Festival Park Yenikapı, she went shopping with Prada's Mini Wicker Bucket Bag, a raffia top-handle model that debuted in May 2014, in tow. The bag's woven drawstring closure matched her baby pink two-piece, courtesy of Victoria Beckham. It was equal parts lightweight and luxe, as the long-sleeve linen blouse elevated her scalloped shorts. Usually, nothing stops the Maid In Manhattan star from wearing sky-high stilettos. This time, however, she endorsed summer 2025's flip-flop fad with her favorite metallic gold thongs from Tkees. has worn the under-$100 sandals more than ten times since July 2022, when she initially bought them on a Capri vacation. This summer alone, they've complemented a Valentino shirt dress one day, and a (rumored) $80,000 croc-embossed Hermès Birkin the next. Most recently, on August 1, the Tkees appeared in a post-Egypt Instagram recap. They looked chic with a black bikini, which she layered underneath a crochet cover-up. All this to say? Her gold flip-flops are just as versatile as Kendall Jenner's viral Dune sandals by The Row (and for less than a quarter of the price). Lopez's Prada purchase appears to be her closet's newest addition. Until now, she hadn't publicly carried it. (Trust me, I would know if she did.) Her Tkees flip-flops, on the other hand, are certainly getting more bang for her buck. Shop Styles Inspired by Jennifer Lopez View Deal View Deal View Deal View Deal View Deal View Deal
