Tyra Mae Steele
and
Jasper Troy
have won the first season of
WWE LFG
(Legends & Future Greats), and now their dreams are coming true. After working hard through weeks of training and matches, both stars finally get their shot in WWE.
The show, which aired on
A&E
, featured 16 young wrestlers from WWE's Performance Center. They were coached by four
WWE legends
like The Undertaker, Booker T, Bubba Ray Dudley, and Mickie James. These legends helped guide the talent, teaching them how to wrestle better, talk on the microphone, and grow as WWE superstars.
Tyra Mae Steele is ready to shine
Tyra Mae Steele was part of Team
Undertaker
. She had an impressive background before even stepping into WWE. She won a gold medal in freestyle wrestling at the 2020 Olympics.
Her skills and focus helped her stand out right from the beginning.
After being named the winner of WWE LFG, she shared her excitement in an interview with
Sports Illustrated

Tyra Mae Steele & Jasper Troy talk winning the WWE LFG Season One on A&E!
Jasper Troy wants more than just one win
Jasper Troy was part of Team
Booker T
. Unlike Tyra, he did not come from a wrestling background. Instead, he used to play football before starting his wrestling journey. He made his WWE debut in 2023 and slowly worked his way up.
In the final episode, he wrestled against
Shiloh Hill
from Team Undertaker. He won the match and proved that he belongs in WWE. But for Jasper, the journey does not stop here.
"I'm just excited I didn't take my foot off the gas after winning," Troy said. "If anything I was so looking forward to the end of the show and I was so wrapped up around 'winning and winning and winning' and then I just had a moment where I was like 'this isn't the end, and I don't know why it feels like the end.'"
"This isn't a movie where the movie ends and cuts to black. This is just the beginning... we won the show and I was excited and for a while, I was riding that wave, but then I had to get back to shore and realize, 'is this the only time you want to be at the top?'"
Both Steele and Troy impressed fans and legends alike during the show. They now train at WWE's Performance Center and are expected to appear in
NXT
soon. With the second season of WWE LFG already confirmed, new talent will get a chance, but for now, it is Tyra Mae Steele and Jasper Troy's time to shine.

WWE faces backlash after reportedly blocking R-Truth tributes on RAW
Image via WWE The WWE Universe is up in arms after reports emerged that the company allegedly blocked talent from wearing R-Truth merchandise during the June 2 episode of Monday Night RAW. The decision, which coincided with news of R-Truth's WWE exit, sparked backlash both backstage and online. According to WrestleVotes, WWE management gave specific instructions to talent not to wear R-Truth shirts on air, a break from long-standing locker room tradition. In the past, performers have honored injured or departing colleagues with subtle tributes, including wearing their merchandise. But this time, the directive was different. Interestingly, Dominik Mysterio wore a Carlito shirt during the same episode - raising eyebrows about the inconsistency. Popular merchandise pulled without warning Adding to the growing unease, WWE reportedly removed R-Truth's 'Ron Cena' t-shirt from its online store. Once a top seller thanks to R-Truth's popular parody character, the shirt's sudden disappearance fueled fan speculation. The lack of an official explanation only intensified criticism. On social media, fans and wrestling commentators didn't hold back. Comments ranged from calling the move 'a disgrace' to likening WWE's current environment to 'the dark Vince McMahon era.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch CFD với công nghệ và tốc độ tốt hơn IC Markets Đăng ký Undo One post even suggested WWE was acting like 'a dictatorship.' R-Truth, real name Ron Killings, has been a staple in WWE for more than two decades. Known for his comedic flair, unpredictable promos, and crowd-friendly antics, he struck a rare balance between humor and heart. His antics with the 24/7 Championship and 'Ron Cena' persona made him one of the most entertaining acts on WWE television. Beyond the laughs, Truth was widely respected behind the scenes. His positivity, professionalism, and ability to connect with fans of all ages earned him admiration from peers and fans alike. No official word from WWE As of now, WWE has not issued any public statement on R-Truth's reported release or the alleged apparel restrictions. This silence has only deepened the frustration among fans, many of whom believe the company mishandled the situation. With R-Truth's contract reportedly set to expire by mid-2025, there is speculation that this exit could be part of broader roster changes or creative restructuring behind the scenes. Their loud chants of 'We Want Truth' during RAW and even at the following night's NXT tapings are a powerful reminder of his enduring popularity. For many, he isn't just a comic relief act — he's a symbol of joy and authenticity in a product often criticized for feeling overly scripted or corporate. In an era where WWE is undergoing significant transformation under the TKO Group banner, moments like these show that fan sentiment still holds weight. R-Truth's legacy, built on heart, humor, and connection, is proving difficult to silence - even without the merchandise. Whether WWE decides to respond or stay silent, the reaction to R-Truth's exit shows that fans will continue to fight for the performers they believe in.

Eminem sues Facebook-owner Meta for $109 million over alleged copyright infringement
World-famous musician and rap artist Eminem has sued Facebook-owner Meta Platforms for $109 million in damages, accusing the company of copyright infringement, reported the news portal E! News on Wednesday, 4 June 2025. According to the news portal's report citing the court documents, Eight Mile Style was the publishing company which filed a lawsuit against Meta Platforms on 30 May 2025. The court order states that Marshall Mathers (Eminem) is alleging that Meta violated the copyright of 243 songs from his catalogue through the 'unauthorised storage, reproduction and exploitation' of his rap songs on their social media platform, as per the news report. The lawsuit also alleged that Meta's in-app features like 'Original Audio' and 'Reels' were encouraging and allowing users to steal Eminem's music to use in video content without 'proper attribution or license.' The Grammy winner is now seeking to receive a monetary payment as a penalty for the damages which were allegedly caused due to the copyright infringements. 'The diminished value of the copyrights by Defendants' theft of them, lost profits, and Defendants' profits attributable to the infringement,' according to the news portal's report. Eminem also has asked for $150,000 for each song in question across all three platforms owned by Meta, which totals up to a little over $109 million. The social media giant has not responded to the news portal's queries on this development. Meta Platform shares were trading 2.34 per cent higher at $682.46 on the Nasdaq on Wednesday's Wall Street session as of 11:04 a.m. (EDT), compared to $666.85 in the previous US market session. On the backdrop of this case, Eminem was alleged was set to perform in India on 3 June 2025, but there was no official confirmation from the rapper or his organisers that any concert actually took place on Tuesday. Multiple media reports and leaked tour schedules suggested that Eminem was scheduled to perform in Mumbai on 3 June 2025, but no verified information confirmed that the concert actually happened. Mint on 20 February 2025 cited a Gang Flow report which claimed that Eminem's 2025 world tour would have stops across North America, Asia, and Europe. However, this information, along with the India tour, was incorrect due to the lack of official data.
