Indy 500 pole winner Robert Shwartzman has a rap song. We rated it.
Robert Shwartzman became a popular Google search topic Sunday after the IndyCar rookie shocked the racing world by qualifying for pole position in this weekend's Indy 500. And those who searched long enough came across one little obscure fact about the 25-year-old that certainly got our attention here at FTW: he's also a rapper...
Kinda.
Under the moniker Shwartzy, the Russian-Israeli driver has just one song from what I can tell -- a 2023 track called ACTIVE -- but the recording quality is actually not bad. One can only assume he plans to release more music when he isn't so busy putting Prema Racing on the IndyCar map.
Now, look, as someone who also records music on the side, I'm not here to judge another rapper... or, er, actually, that's exactly what I'm here to do. But not for the attempt, only for how good it is. I gave ACTIVE a listen, and it gets a solid C- from me.
Depending on what you prefer in a good song, the rating is either too low or too high, which is exactly why it's perfect. The beat is good, which does the heavy lifting for ACTIVE, and the hook is somewhat catchy, which completes half the battle in making something that doesn't stand out for all the wrong reasons. Those elements alone make this good background music. But the harder you listen, the harder it is to... well, listen.
Shwartzy is basically doing a bad impression of modern rap songs carried by melodies more than actual lyrics (even the ad libs are familiar), which can make some lyrics hard to understand and disguise the cheesy song-writing in the parts you do decipher. And though he eventually finds his footing towards the end of his lone verse, it starts with an awkwardly choppy flow that occasionally misses the beat.
Overall, it's not terrible, but after qualifying for the Indy 500 pole, it's easy to see why he hasn't put out more music. Shwartzman might have a brighter future behind the wheel than he does behind the mic.

Here are 15 of my favorite Google Pixel wallpapers of all time
Ryan Haines / Android Authority Wallpapers are a fantastic way to freshen up your smartphone's look, which is why I love to switch mine up regularly. I've previously written about my favorite Samsung wallpapers, which I've used extensively in the past, and now I want to highlight some of my top picks from Google's Pixel lineup. Most Pixel phones come with their own distinctive set of wallpapers. While some might share similar themes, each collection usually has a unique feel. Google has curated a great selection, offering everything from dark and moody to bright and colorful options, and plenty in between. A great thing to keep in mind is that you don't actually need a Pixel device to use any of these wallpapers. You can set them on almost any smartphone, regardless of the brand — I'll show you how later. How often do you change the wallpaper on your phone? 854 votes Once a week 33 % Once a month 23 % Once a quarter 13 % Once a year 8 % Almost never 23 % Pixel 6 wallpapers The Pixel 6 collection features three wallpapers that are exceptionally bright, colorful, and youthful. They immediately evoke memories of summer and holidays — two things I thoroughly enjoy. These designs might be a bit 'out there' for some, so they won't appeal to everyone, but I personally really dig them. The first one, depicting a carefree surfer on a beautiful day, is especially impressive if you ask me. It brings a sense of peace whenever I look at it, a welcome feeling in our fast-paced lives. Pixel 8a wallpapers Inspired by minerals, the wallpapers for the Pixel 8a are simply stunning. I'm particularly drawn to the two darker options, as I frequently opt for a darker background on my phone. However, the blue variant is also very easy on the eyes, bringing a pleasant pop of color to my home screen. As someone who's into hiking, it also subtly reminds me of a mountain landscape, which I appreciate. While this phone comes with a few other wallpapers, these three truly caught my eye. Pixel 5 wallpapers The Pixel 5's wallpapers remind me of modern art — they're a bit quirky, wonderfully different, and very colorful, which is why I loved them. If you look closely, each one seems to tell a story, and they will all undoubtedly bring that extra spark to your phone. The wallpaper depicting pencils that look like a popular dish is my absolute favorite, mainly due to its sheer creativity and vibrant colors. The other two are equally eye-catching and are definite conversation starters thanks to their uniqueness. Pixel 7 wallpapers These are wing-inspired wallpapers, which immediately evoke a sense of freedom for me. There are several different versions available on the phone, but the three that particularly caught my attention are all on the darker side. They aren't flashy at all; instead, they give off a more subtle, mystical vibe. I like the first one the most, where the wing seems to cover the entire screen. It looks fantastic when I place colorful icons on my home screen — it's that contrast that makes it so appealing to me. Pixel 6a wallpapers If you're looking for something truly different, the Pixel 6a wallpapers might be it. These designs are intentionally blurred, which is a great feature if you want to keep the apps and widgets on your home screen clearly in focus. You can still see hints of color and subtle patterns, which I really appreciate. I'm most fond of the last one in the selection; the yellow just pops, yet there are enough darker tones throughout the wallpaper to provide that pleasing contrast I've mentioned a few times already. In any case, I'd be happy with any of these three on my phone. How to set these wallpapers Paul Jones / Android Authority As mentioned earlier, you can download and use these wallpapers on any phone you wish, regardless of the brand. Simply click the download button provided below each section to save them to your device. Please keep in mind that each file contains more than just the three wallpapers I've highlighted for each phone — they usually include the entire original pack of wallpapers from that device. Once you have downloaded the wallpapers, follow the standard instructions for your specific device to set your favorite image as your home screen, lock screen, or both. How to set a wallpaper on Android: Launch the Settings app. Tap on Wallpaper & style. Select More wallpapers. Find and select your wallpaper. Customize the wallpaper and hit Set Wallpaper. Pick whether you want to set the wallpaper on your Home screen or Lock screen. Hit Set. How to set a wallpaper on iPhone: Launch the Settings app. Tap on Wallpaper. Hit Add New Wallpaper. Find and select the wallpaper you want to set. Customize your wallpaper and settings to your liking, then hit Add. Tap on Set as Wallpaper Pair. Editor's note: These instructions were assembled using a Google Pixel 8a running Android 15 and an Apple iPhone 15 running iOS 18.4.1. The steps might differ if you have a different device or software version.

Victoria And Nicola Peltz Beckham Alleged Wedding Drama
By now, you're probably more than aware of the rumored feud between Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham and the rest of Brooklyn's family. Feud rumors have persisted since 2022, right before the pair wed, when fans noticed that Nicola and Brooklyn's family weren't interacting as much online. Some speculated the alleged discord was because Nicola didn't let Victoria design her wedding dress, which Nicola subsequently denied. However, if a new report is to be believed, there was some alleged drama over the dress after all. A source tells People: "When Nicola and Brooklyn got engaged, Victoria told Nicola that she'd love to make her wedding dress, and Nicola said it would be her honor, that she would love to wear one of her originals." However, the source claimed Victoria wasn't prioritizing the dress, and in the end, she decided not to make it. They also claimed that instead of telling Nicola directly, Victoria told her mom. Y.I.K.E.S. "Nicola was painted as a brat for not wearing Victoria Beckham at the wedding," the insider said, even though "she'd gone to a ton of Victoria Beckham fashion shows and events in Victoria's clothing. She even wore Victoria Beckham to her Lola movie premiere." Ultimately, she ended up wearing Valentino Haute Couture for the wedding. While Victoria and David have yet to address the report, it was refuted by a second source. The insider said, "A quick Google search will show how many times this pointless story has been recycled to try and paint Nicola as somehow a victim. As ever, the Beckhams have stayed above it all despite constant attacks through the media. It's sad as they love their son and they have all tried so hard with Nicola, but it's become impossible." The report comes just one day after People published a separate report detailing an alleged incident at Brooklyn and Nicola's wedding, where the pair was supposed to dance together. According to a source, "Marc Anthony, who is a friend of the Beckhams, offered to perform as a gift at the wedding. Before the song began, Marc Anthony asked Brooklyn to come to the stage, and then announced, 'The most beautiful woman in the room tonight, come on Beckham!'" Another source said that "it wasn't appropriate" and that it caused "Nicola [to] run from the room crying." "Nicola felt like Victoria did this on purpose, when she knew it was a pre-planned romantic dance meant for Brooklyn and Nicola," the source said. "What she couldn't understand was why." According to a third source, the wedding issue has repeatedly come up amid their rift, which recently made headlines again when Brooklyn and Nicola skipped out on David's 50th birthday celebrations. "They've tried to make peace, but every time they finally have a happy moment, it all falls apart again," the source claimed. "Brooklyn feels torn. It's his family and blood, but he's always had a complicated relationship with his dad. A lot of their relationship has felt like 'business.'" BuzzFeed reached out to reps for Victoria, David, Nicola, and Brooklyn for comment on the latest report, but did not hear back by publication.
