After months of headline-making hangouts, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are back in the news this week — and this time, it's all because of Jen's sweet Father's Day tribute to Ben. The two stars have been divorced for a decade now, but it honestly seems like they just can't seem to stay out of each other's lives. Here's what the 13 Going On 30 star had to say about her ex-husband...and why it feels like such a big deal.
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have always taken co-parenting seriously, so it's not surprising that Jen would have something kind to say about the father of her children, but what made this post extra-special was the sweet combination of the photo and the words that accompanied it. On June 15, 2025, Jen posted a photo to her Instagram story (see above), and captioned it, "Happy Father's Day to 3 people's favorite landing spot."
This tribute comes after celebrating their daughter's (Violet Affleck) graduation, a family paintball outing, and a very busy holiday season together. Oh, on top of Ben's very public divorce from Jennifer Lopez.
While Jen didn't say anything inherently romantic about her ex-husband, the photo is a rare look into their early days as parents together — and we'd be lying if we said it didn't feel intimate. The photo is clearly at the home Jen and Ben used to share, on what looks to be a late night of newborn parenting.

Present fatherhood is one of his biggest flexes. Over and above his rap lines, his fans have grown to love this about him. In fact, his relationship with his daughter, Afrika Moloi, Priddy Ugly (born Richardo Moloi) has garnered as much endearment on social media as his relationship with his wife, media personality and celebrity choreographer, Bontle Modiselle-Moloi. The two lovebirds have been together for 16 years, married for about five years with one daughter, expecting their second bundle of joy. Ever since their recent pregnancy announcement, Bontle has served nothing but pregnancy goals alongside her small family. Speaking about how they approached pregnancy differently this second time around, Priddy Ugly admits to Drum that no pregnancy is the same. 'It wasn't necessarily scary, but no pregnancy is the same. With the first pregnancy, the adrenaline was high. Bontle was working. She was on the radio at the time with Scoop Makhathini and eight months into the pregnancy, Scoop didn't even know she was pregnant. That's how well we were able to hide it then. 'With this one, she started showing a lot earlier. In fact, if it had been up to us, we wouldn't have announced it even now. It still would've been a secret, the issue is that we had already been seen in public, people had started seeing us, people were stealing pictures, stealing videos, and we decided to announce it before anyone did it for us and made it their own. We were like, 'Let's control the narrative, let's make it our own, let's make it fun'. We then made a cool announcement, people loved it, and they showed us love,' he adds. Having had Afrika at the heigh of covid, fatherhood the first time around wasn't the easiest journey for Priddy. Not only were they isolated from their families' help but Bontle was also booked and busy at the time. In a couple of interviews, Bontle has opened up about the mom guilt she soldiered through that stemmed from needing to go back to hard-on work shortly after her daughter's birth. While she was pregnant, she was busy with production, and everything was put on hold because they had to wait for her. Two weeks after her birth, she had to go back to Cape Town to finish shooting. We moved to Cape Town with her so that we're close by and when she needed to go shoot, I would stay with our daughter. She'd be gone from 5am at call time and come back around 8pm, tired. But it was during this time that my bond with our daughter grew very strong till now.' After working as hard as the couple have in the past few years for a stable future together, they now finally get to both enjoy the breeze of their second pregnancy, with less pressure from their careers. 'We recently moved into our new home. God has blessed us with so much work last year that we've gotten time to now just stay at home and spend time together as a family, bills are paid, things are covered and we're working on our next projects. I have a studio in the new house which means I can work all the time from home, we're just taking it all in, we don't have to work too much. It may come as a surprise to many that Priddy is still making music after he came out announcing the hanging of his mic last year. In all honesty, Priddy shares the decision was a result of not seeing eye-to-eye with his management and issues arising on the business side of music. Ever since then, he's had a revelation to return to his passion. 'We've been together for so long that we do everything together on a daily basis. The management tried as much as possible to keep us apart. We had a Youtube channel, we made music together as Rick Jade and had brand collaborations we shared. But they learned that it wasn't possible to separate us so now we're finally doing the things we've been putting off since covid and do them together now,' he beams. Excited to break the news of new music, he shares that the title sequence and songs used on Showmax's Adulting are a glimpse of his recent work. With these, he's teasing an album that could drop anytime as he awaits to welcome his second child.

Having children is every man's dream, but being an actual father takes fortitude, selflessness, and sacrifice. This is something renowned broadcaster, entrepreneur and philanthropist, Tbo Touch, whose given name is Thabo Molefe, knows all too well. He is a father to two boys, Ruri and Suri, but they are based in Australia. Although the distance between them is vast, he doesn't allow it to interfere with him being present as a father in their lives. 'Fathers have to be present in their children's lives, not about materialistic possessions'. Through his annual replenishment concert, which is also taking place this year, he also is shaping his kids' beliefs, especially since his father Rev Molefe gave him the gift of salvation. 'My kids were not born into Islamic religion or born into a family of non-believers, so they have no choice but to follow my beliefs and they already do, because I show them through my style. When I tell them I want something and that I'm praying about it, I'm teaching that nothing manifests without God, prayer and a fight. I teach that nothing that is worth achieving comes easy,' shares the star. 'I'm not opposed to the idea, but the choice remains with the mother. I would rather have two boys and two girls, I don't like odd even numbers, it creates conflict. But yeah, I'm living my dream. I have always wanted to have two boys'. Although he has such a hectic schedule, he doesn't take the responsibility of being father to his sons lightly, because he has been entrusted by God to shape them into becoming men who will take on his legacy. 'Those boys my legacy and they will forever carry my surname, when they get married, their wives and children will take on their surnames, which means the Molefe legacy will continue for generations, so it's important that they understand the importance the role they play in growing the Molefe legacy,' he concludes.
