A JEOPARDY! contestant has made history after scooping one of the daytime show's biggest ever wins.
The hit game show was rebooted last year by ITV bosses, launching with an impressive 2.5 million viewers.

Jeopardy! challenges contestants to showcase their general knowledge, always phrasing their responses in the form of a question.
Players compete to stay in the game and accumulate winnings as they progress, with Stephen, 68, as their host.
During today's episode, viewers watched as hotel receptionist Ben Jones continued the game, competing against Jonathan and Rosemary.
From Caerphilly, Ben was already a nine-day reigning champion before his major win.
In the final round, host Stephen asked a question based on the category Classic 80s Films.
He said: "Matthew Broderick starred in the title role of the 1980s comedy film 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off', directed by this man."
Ben, 23, correctly answered: "Who is John Hughes?"
His impressive knowledge saw him walk away with a jackpot prize of £64,530 - the largest win for all Jeopardy! series and one of the biggest wins on daytime TV.
Stephen congratulated Ben as he brought the curtain down on the last episode of the series.

He told viewers: "We say goodbye to you because it is the end of the series. That's an amazing thought.
"It's been a wonderful one, we've had two tremendous champions, but none greater than this [Ben] young man who will become a hero of the valleys I've no doubt."
Jeopardy! is highly successful in the US and first aired in the UK on Channel 4 in 1983 before it moved over to ITV in 1990. It then aired on Sky Max in 1995 before coming to an end.

Where Soldier, Soldier cast are now - booze battles, affairs and tragic death
Soldier, Soldier was a huge TV hit in the 90s and made stars of Robson Green and Jerome Flynn who went on to have a number one hit and huge success in Hollywood Soldier, Soldier star Marise Wipani has tragically died aged 61. The actress, who also appeared in Xena: Warrior Princess, died on her birthday on Friday. Her Facebook page announced the news of her death in a sad message to friends and family. It read: "Marise passed peacefully today on her 61st birthday surrounded by family and friends. "She just wanted to say....I have shuffled off this mortal coil. Good byyye, good luuuck, good God!!! Quote from Driving Miss Daisy." Her cause of death was not shared in the post. ITV's Soldier, Soldier was a massive telly hit in the 90s, captivating viewers with its fictional insight into the ups and downs of the British Army. Set within the made-up 1st Battalion The King's Fusiliers regiment, it delved into the professional and personal dramas of the show's ensemble. The standout stars were Robson and Jerome, who enjoyed a brief but significant music career, sparked by an episode where they performed Unchained Melody. Over his 45-year career, he has become one of the most recognisable faces in British drama, playing roles such as Reuben in William and Mary, alongside Martin Clunes, the Marquis de Carabas in Neverwhere, Alan Johnson in Peep Show, Lyndon Jones in Green Wing; and Shorty in the first episode of Jericho. Like many other esteemed British actors, he has appeared in Doctor Who in the 2005 two-part episodes Bad Wolf and The Parting of the Ways. Samantha Morton - Clare Anderson Samantha Morton first graced our screens in Soldier, Soldier, making an immediate impact despite appearing in just four episodes. A mere four years later, she captured the nation's attention in ITV's Band Of Gold. Since then, she has graced the silver screen in Hollywood blockbusters like Minority Report with Tom Cruise, and Elizabeth: The Golden Age alongside Cate Blanchett. Expanding her talents, she has also ventured into producing and directing throughout her thirty-year career. Her outstanding contributions were honoured at this year's BAFTAs with the prestigious fellowship, where she delivered a heartfelt acceptance speech: "representation matters". Love Island contestant who replaced axed star admits already breaking show rules
The latest series of Love Island is due to grace our screens on Monday night where a whole host of new contestants will try and find love A Love Island contestant who replaced axed Kyle Ashman has broken show rules after signing up. Conor Phillips is due to enter the villa on Monday night when the new series begins. The 25-year-old rugby player has been preparing for his island stint and even recruited a former islander for help. He has replaced Kyle Ashman who was originally meant to be going on the show but was sent home just days before the series launch after it came out that he'd been quizzed by police over an attack in February. Conor has now said that he spoke to former winner Greg O'Shea before flying out to Majorca to get some advice. However, islanders are not meant to reveal that they are going on the show beforehand. Conor said: "I know Greg through rugby circles so I spoke to him about going on Love Island. "He just said 'be yourself, it's a really really really cool experience that not many people get. So enjoy it and yeah take it day by day and if you can be yourself you can't really go too far wrong'. So that's my plan. He was like 'my advice might be a bit different from others because I won'." He added: "I'm 25 and I've only had one relationship and it wasn't very long. So I feel like I'm maybe doing something wrong or maybe I'm not in the right places. So, hopefully that this is the right place and it should be you know because you're in a lovely villa surrounded by beautiful people, so I'm hoping that this is the one." Kyle has since spoken out about why he was removed from the show. He said: "I fully co-operated with this police investigation and made it very clear that I had no involvement in this incident. I am not a violent person and any suggestion otherwise is a mischaracterisation." It was reported that two masked people stormed a wake in Stafford and hacked at a dad with a blade. Kyle was one of two quizzed but was then released with no further action. It has been said that ITV were unaware of the incident which took place and was not flagged up when contestant checks were carried out. The 38-year-old victim nearly lost his arm and was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment and kept in for around two weeks. Another person who was at the wake was glassed while another was struck with a metal pole. Two more people were run over by a car during the 15 minute attack. Love Island returns Monday, June 9 at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
