Intifada hit US at DC Jewish Museum — fueled by slanderous hate
Now we know what 'globalize the intifada' means.
When a pro-Palestinian Marxist was arrested after shooting and killing Yaron Lischinsky, a German-born evangelical Christian, and his American girlfriend Sarah Milgrim in front of the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, DC, he chanted, 'Free, free Palestine.'
The murderer, who reportedly traveled from Chicago to kill two innocent 20-somethings, surely assumed his targets were Jewish.

His justification, as far as we know, was a blood libel that is a millennium old.
The slander has simply been repackaged for the modern audience.
Indeed, the 'genocide' libel is spread by Qatari-bought pseudo-intellectuals on elite US campuses, New York Times and Washington Post editorialists, liberal activists, right-wing paleo 'influencers,' European powers, Democratic House members, big media and many others.

'Palestine,' something most intifada protesters know virtually nothing about, has replaced Black Lives Matter as the cause of the morally vacuous and dangerously illiterate activist class.
An entire generation of young people has been brainwashed. It's only a matter of time before it gets worse.
Only a few days ago, media outlets including NBC News reported, without a hint of skepticism, a United Nations warning that 14,000 babies were going to die from starvation in Gaza within 48 hours.
Two days? Fourteen thousand babies?

Any editor or reporter who repeated such a preposterous claim is either too gullible or too dishonest to be in a newsroom.
However, at this point the establishment media will amplify any unsubstantiated and unhinged accusation if the target is right.
As it turns out, the UN retracted the claim. What the report actually said was that 14,100 cases of malnutrition could occur among children, not babies, if aid did not reach them over the next year.
Then again, as with most UN reports, even that number is likely a concoction.

The Hamas-run 'Gaza Health Ministry,' which is less reliable than the UN and doesn't distinguish between civilians and armed terrorists, lies about death tolls and puts on low-budget Pallywood productions for credulous Western audiences.
The UN has issued more condemnations of Israel than all other nations combined.
Not long ago, UNESCO passed a resolution denying Jews any historical connection to the Temple Mount and Western Wall, which came as a surprise to anyone who's read a book.
Then, of course, we know that 12 of UNRWA's employees took part in the Hamas massacre of Jews on Oct. 7 — not merely offering logistical help or coordination, but participating in the actual kidnapping and murdering of civilians.
If the United Nations were a country, Israel would be compelled to declare war on it.
No, Israel is not wantonly murdering children in Gaza. It has temporarily blocked 'aid' because Hamas steals it, sells it and uses food to control civilians.
How many of the 'protesters' who 'occupy' college libraries know that Gaza, which was given autonomy all the way back in 2006, is provided food, clean water and electricity by Israel?
How many know that the Israeli government forcibly removed thousands of Jews from Gaza because Palestinians can only live Judenfrei?
American Jews even purchased 3,000 greenhouses that stood over 1,000 acres for $14 million and gave them to the Palestinian Authority so they could become self-sufficient, gratis. Palestinians destroyed them.
There was no peace. Because peace was never the point.
Israel doesn't target civilians, either. It is constantly sending warnings to the population about its operations, often putting its own soldiers in additional danger.

Israel is fighting a war against Hamas, which unleashed a 9/11 on it and then cowered behind civilians, purposely churning out martyrs.
There is real suffering in Gaza. It was brought on by one side.
All of it could end tomorrow if Hamas returned the remaining hostages and surrendered.
Let's be honest, though, reality doesn't matter to the 'Free Palestine' crowd.

There is a reason Western intifada targets Jewish businesses, Holocaust museums, Hillels, synagogues and innocent people on the streets of DC.
It has nothing to do with 'ceasefires' or aid.
The event at the Capital Jewish Museum, where Lischinsky and Milgrim were killed, was not pro-Israel. It wasn't sponsored by Mossad, but by the American Jewish Congress.
Recall that the first 'protests' against Israel broke out in Times Square and college campuses hours after the Oct. 7 massacre, before the bodies of the dead were identified or any retaliation occurred.

'Anti-Zionism' is now the most significant form of antisemitism in the world.
It has been the predominant justification for violence and hatred against Jews in Europe and the Middle East for a long time. And now it's here.

Here's what Trump gifted Carney the last time the leaders met in Washington
OTTAWA — It may not be his favourite team but Prime Minister Mark Carney is now the proud owner of a Washington Capitals jersey emblazoned with his name and the number 24 thanks to U.S. President Donald Trump. Trump gifted Carney, a die-hard Edmonton Oilers fan, the framed and mounted jersey after the leaders sat down for their first in-person meeting in the Oval Office last month, according to a public registry of disclosures. That meeting laid the groundwork for what Canadian political and business leaders hope leads to a reprieve from Trump's global tariffs on autos, steel and aluminum. It is a deal the two leaders have yet to lock in as they meet again, this time in Alberta, as Canada plays host to the G7 leaders' summit. Gift-giving between leaders is a diplomatic custom during official visits. Another round is unfolding this week as Carney welcomes leaders from across Europe and other parts of the world for the G7 gathering. For his part, the last time Carney and the rest of the Canadian delegation saw Trump, they left behind a photograph of a famous football game played between Canadian and American soldiers several months before D-Day in 1944, snapped by a Canadian military photographer. It was an image meant to signal the coming together over sports, and amid global uncertainty, the latter of which Carney is trying to bridge with a volatile Trump administration. Canada also gifted Trump a hat and golf gear from the Kananaskis Country Golf Course, given that Kananaskis is where he and other G7 leaders are meeting. It appears Trump stuck with the sports theme for his last gift to Carney, too. The Washington Capitals are not only Trump's hometown team, but also where Russian-born NHL star Alexander Ovechkin plays. Trump mentioned Ovechkin by name during his Oval Office meeting with Carney last month, which began with a wide-ranging question-and-answer session with the U.S. president, while Carney and other Canadian ministers watched on. And while the president may not have gotten the team quite right for Carney, who cheers for the Edmonton Oilers, he nailed his number, given that Carney serves as Canada's 24th prime minister. Most Canadians will likely be relieved that the president chose that digit over the number 51, given how often Trump has repeated his desire for Canada to become the U.S.'s '51st state.' staylor@ National Post Get more deep-dive National Post political coverage and analysis in your inbox with the Political Hack newsletter, where Ottawa bureau chief Stuart Thomson and political analyst Tasha Kheiriddin get at what's really going on behind the scenes on Parliament Hill every Wednesday and Friday, exclusively for subscribers. Tesla and the Other American Car That Are Way Cheaper Due To Trump's Tariffs
The Trump Administration's imposition of tariffs on vehicles and car parts made outside of the United States have turned the auto market on its head. Most economists seem to agree that the tariffs will increase costs for nearly all automakers and consumers will pay the price. Even cars with famously American nameplates, like Ford and GM, will likely see vehicle prices increase, perhaps by thousands of dollars per vehicle. But two automakers seem poised to benefit from the turmoil. Here's how the tariffs will affect the overall market and who the likely winners will be if they remain in place. Read Next: Trending Now: As reported by CNBC, several industry analysts see Tesla and Rivian as winning the tariffs war, at least as it comes to auto manufacturers. These two companies are among the few who produce 100% of their vehicles in the United States, making them obvious winners over foreign manufacturers like Honda and Toyota. However, Tesla and Rivian also have an edge over domestic manufacturers like Ford and GM. According to Daniel Roesak, an analyst for Bernstein, 'Tesla wins, Detroit bleeds.' Roeska thinks Tesla in particular is 'better insulated' from trade risk and the 'clear structural winner' of Trump's tariff policy. Check Out: UBS analyst Joseph Spak agrees with Roesak, saying both Tesla and competitor Rivian could 'fare better' since they both produce 100% of their vehicles in America. The stock market seemed to agree with Spak, as Rivian shares popped by 7% the day after Trump announced the 25% tariffs on auto makers. Since the goal of Trump's tariffs is to protect American businesses and allow them to compete on a level playing field, it would seem logical to think that the big legacy American auto makers, like GM and Ford, should benefit as well. Unfortunately, in today's multinational economy, hardly anything truly gets produced 100% domestically and that's definitely true in the case of Ford and GM. According to Bloomberg, for example, nearly half the vehicles GM sold in America in 2024 were built abroad. Ford is a bit more American-focused, but still assembles about 21% of its cars overseas, according to Ford Media. That means that even these most American of companies still rely heavily on overseas parts and production – thus subjecting them to some of the very tariffs designed to protect them. Spak sees the price of Ford and GM cars spiking by as much as $4,000 to $5,000 per vehicle if the companies pass through the cost of the tariffs. Ford would likely be shielded more than GM, as it has more domestic production, but in both cases, prices are expected to rise. For now, auto pricing is in a nebulous place. Dealers of all brands are making whatever defensive adjustments they can without fully committing to one direction or the other, as the tariffs may vanish as quickly as they were implemented. On April 29, for example, Trump already softened the most draconian aspects of the tariffs, according to Reuters and further reductions may — or may not — be on the horizon. Given the current environment, many analysts suggest that if you're already in the market for a new car, it might make sense to move sooner rather than later. Prices are unlikely to fall in the current environment and if the tariffs remain in place, they may very well jump higher. My Super-Special 79th Was Not Super Special
Dear Diary, I did NOT have the birthday of my dreams last weekend! Everyone knows that 79 is the tank birthday. One is paper, 77 is emoluments, 78 you get to destroy one constitutional amendment of your choosing, 80 you get to become the state, but 79 is tanks, and I was so looking forward to my tank birthday. I thought it was pretty clear what I wanted. But obviously, it wasn't!!! This was like the kind of tank parade your mom makes you lovingly from scratch, and I wanted the kind of tank parade that is made in China or North Korea. I don't want a special American tank parade where our soldiers are waving and smiling out of the tanks. I want one like my friends have. I wanted tanks, but I got OLD tanks. I wanted marching, but I got the wrong kind of marching, where they didn't even do the little high-kick thing. I wanted millions of people to come out and cheer and hold up pictures of my face and they did, but they all went to the wrong places. What does a president have to do to get the right kind of birthday tank parade? I have been dispatching troops to American cities and Stephen Miller is openly speculating about rolling back habeas corpus; it is not even subtle at this point what kind of government I'm going for! My parade was just awful. It was all about the Army, which, okay, is turning 250, but only in the literal sense. First, a guy dressed as George Washington rode by on a horse. I don't know why we make such a big fuss about this old toothless man who gave up power on purpose. We used to have a king, and now we don't, and it's all because of this loser! Also, he was obviously wearing a wig. They also retold part of the plot of the musical Hamilton, which felt like a personal affront. Then Civil War soldiers marched by, but they were in the WRONG COLOR uniform, not the one worn by the folks who all our best forts are named for, but the blue one. This is the Army's DEI at work again. Throughout the parade, they kept trying to tell us fun facts about history. Do I look like someone who wants a history lesson? No! I am somebody who wants to repeat history, not somebody who wants to learn it. It was sponsored by Palantir, which was SOMETHING, I guess. I had been thinking more along the lines of: Someone comes out to sing the national anthem and then stops, winks, turns to me, and starts singing 'Happy Birthday' in a breathy voice instead. Then the Army rolls up with an enormous cake. But wait, what's that in the cake? Could it be? I cut into the cake with a big sword to reveal A BRAND-NEW TANK! (Whoever finds the tank in the cake gets to be king for life!) Everyone claps. Whoa! What is that, parachuting out of the sky? It's another tank, like in the Fast and the Furious series of films! And who's that, lifting the lid of the tank? It's the pope! 'Sorry,' he says. 'It was all a joke about me being pope. Here, try on my pointy white hat! I know you love a pointy white hat! You will be a great pope. The best pope.' Then the tank releases special red-white-and-blue smoke to indicate that a new, better pope has been selected: red for MAGA, white for pope, and blue to indicate that the pope is a boy. Then they sing 'Memories,' from the musical CATS! William McKinley rides by on a tariff and gives me a thumbs-up! Then the Army goes by, but bigger and more excited this time. They are finally doing the high-kick thing! Then my dad climbs out of the tank and says, 'The hole in you that has never been filled is full now!' and whispers, 'I have a special surprise for you, my best boy! Look out your window, Donald, and see!' I run to the window and it's the '80s again! Finally! Everywhere I look there are flags, and so many dollars, and a bald eagle, and an oil well spouting for joy. I am the president, and the pope, and the tank has made me king for life! It is the best birthday ever! Needless to say, this is NOT what happened.
