Following his collaboration withTrapstar, Nigerian-British artistOlaolu Slawnis hitting the race track with Red Bull'sRacing BullsFormula One team andHUGO. Ahead of the British Grand Prix this weekend, Slawn has been invited to reimagine the team's VCARB 02 car, driver race suits, and staff kits with his signature graffiti-style artwork.
The Silverstone race track will be graced by two customized cars, which will seeLiam LawsonandIsack Hadjarbattle it out for their next podium finish. The classic white car maintains Red Bull's logo over the engine and sponsorship emblems throughout, accompanied by Slawn's caricature artwork in black.
Additionally, HUGO has been enlisted to make the team's new race suits and kits to debut at Silverstone. The tops maintains a white, red, and blue color palette, while Slawn's open-eyed figures are drawn on the torso. Paying tribute to his scribbles found across London, the partnership is ready to dominate Silverstone one mile at a time.

The return of the Britpop-era rockers after a 16-year hiatus is a major moment for fans. Will it be a storming success? Definitely maybe. Predictions are tricky when it comes to Noel and Liam Gallagher, the sparring siblings who give Oasis its charisma, and its volatile chemistry. 'That's one of the attractions about Oasis — they bring this element of risk,' said author and music journalist John Aizlewood. He said the 'alternative aura that they have cultivated with the age-old pop story of fractious brothers' is part of the band's appeal. Unless the brothers' combustible relationship derails proceedings, two nights at Cardiff's 70,000-capacity Principality Stadium on Friday and Saturday raise the curtain on a 19-date Live '25 tour in the U.K. and Ireland. Then come stops in North America, South America, Asia and Australia, ending in Sao Paulo, Brazil on Nov. 23. Founded in the working-class streets of Manchester in 1991, Oasis released its debut album, 'Definitely Maybe,' in 1994 and became one of the dominant British acts of the 1990s, releasing eight U.K. No. 1 albums and producing hits including 'Wonderwall,' 'Champagne Supernova,' 'Roll With It' and 'Don't Look Back in Anger.' The band's sound was fueled by singalong rock choruses and the combustible chemistry between guitarist-songwriter Noel Gallagher — a Beatles and glam rock-loving musician with a knack for memorable tunes — and younger brother Liam, a frontman of compelling swagger and style. Then and since, the brothers have often traded barbs — onstage, in the studio and in interviews. Liam once called Noel 'tofu boy,' while Noel branded his brother 'the angriest man you'll ever meet. Britain's competition regulator has since threatened Ticketmaster — which sold some 900,000 Oasis tickets — with legal action. Tickets for the U.K. shows sold out in hours, with some soon offered on resale websites for as much as 6,000 pounds ($7,800). That suggests major pent-up demand, both from the original fans — a male-dominated cohort now well into middle age — and from a younger generation. No plans have been announced for Oasis to record any new music, and the tour is being presented as a one-off. Aizlewood said it's an opportunity for Oasis to 'tend the legacy' of the band, and remind people of the power of the Oasis brand. 'There should be a sense of huge joy and life affirmation about these shows. And I think if they can just play it right, then that can be a massive burnishing of their legacy,' he said. Harry Wilson to captain Australia in rugby test against Fiji on Sunday
NEWCASTLE, Australia (AP) — Loose forward Harry Wilson will captain the Wallabies while Tate McDermott and Noah Lolesio will form the halfback pairing for Sunday's test match against Fiji in Newcastle north of Sydney. The starting roles by the trio could indicate they are favored by head coach Joe Schmidt for those positions for the first of three test matches against the British and Irish Lions in Brisbane on July 19. Schmidt on Friday also named rugby league convert Joseph-Aukuso Sua'ali'i to his first Wallabies start on home soil, combining with Len Ikitau in the centers to face Fiji. The 21-year-old Sua'ali'i will line up at outside center after spending the Super Rugby season at fullback with the New South Wales Waratahs, with Ikitau reverting to the No. 12 jersey. Schmidt opted for experience in the Australian front row, with former captain David Porecki called back into the team, 643 days since he last played for the Wallabies. Policing operation underway as British GP starts
Facial recognition, armed officers and search teams would be on hand during the British Grand Prix, a police force said. About 480,000 people were expected to attend the 2025 Formula 1 Qatar Airways British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Northamptonshire Police said it would deliver a robust policing operation from Thursday until Sunday. Supt Pete Basham, event commander for the force, said: "This is a major operation involving a wide range of policing resources, as well as support from other emergency services and partner agencies." Supt Basham said: "It is a great opportunity to engage with the public, but give that wider reassurance that we are here to promote public safety." He said they will have officers "inside the circuit on patrol" for music events and "specialist community operations" outside of the perimeter. Officers are also on standby with a traffic operation in place "to ensure smooth" access and exit from the site. "It is a huge event for the county, and so our approach will be reflective of that." "We are here if people need us," he added. Live Facial Recognition was introduced to the event in 2023 and will be in operation again, police said. The technology works by using a camera to scan faces to match biometrics against those held on a watch list. In addition to uniformed and plainclothed officers, specialist resources, including armed officers, search teams, disruption officers, and Automatic Number Plate Recognition units, were set to patrol the circuit. Supt Basham added: "We start planning for this event when last year's event ends. We do a structured debrief and look at what has gone wrong. We look at crime data that comes in and use all of that information to plan our response for next year." People started to arrive for the UK's biggest sporting event on Thursday. On Sunday, about 160,000 are expected to be in attendance to watch the main race. Police encouraged visitors to the event to look at the crime prevention and safety advice on their website to prepare them for their visit.
