Bam Adebayo Had 3-Word Message After A'ja Wilson's Huge Game Against Sparks originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
A'ja Wilson had another monster game for the Las Vegas Aces Friday night, finishing with 35 points, 13 rebounds and six assists in a 96-81 win over the L.A. Sparks. The reigning league MVP also had three steals and three blocked shots in what can only be described as a dominant performance.

Rumors Wilson and Adebayo were dating began circulating last summer, around the time of the Paris Olympics. Both were on the women's and men's rosters for Team USA, respectively, and their interactions during the games left many folks wondering if they were more than just friends.
In February of 2025, Wilson subtly confirmed their relationship to People Magazine during NBA All-Star Weekend. When asked about her Valentine's Day plans, she replied: "My NBA All-Star is not here. That's the best Valentine gift that I can truly give him, is just the rest."
Both Wilson and Adebayo have built their own fan followings, but more people are starting to ship them as a couple, as well.

The basketball superstars have shown unabashed support for each other, both on and off the court. Adebayo wore Wilson's signature Nikes during a game against the Brooklyn Nets, for example, while Wilson has been present at some of Adebayo's bigger events, including his key to the city ceremony in Miami-Dade County.
Both superstars were initially mum about their romance, but they've opened up in subtle ways in recent months.
"I have an amazing boyfriend who really is my safe space. He's truly a gift," Wilson told Cosmo Sports in April. "He's obviously in the same field, so we bounce off different things with one another to where it's like, no, we're not alone. He's helped me through a lot and welcomed me to be who I'm going to be. I know he's like, 'I don't know what A'ja I'm going to get today, but I'm blessed to be beside her.'"

Yankees Announce Jasson Dominguez News After Leaving Dodgers Game

Yankees Announce Jasson Dominguez News After Leaving Dodgers Game originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The New York Yankees are looking to salvage their series with the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday evening. Dropping the first two games of this 2024 World Series rematch, including an 18-2 blowout loss on Saturday, New York fell to 35-22 on the season. Advertisement While the last two games against LA were not encouraging, New York still owns the best record in the AL East, sitting 5.0 games up on the surging Toronto Blue Jays entering play on Sunday. One recent contributor has been switch-hitting outfielder Jasson Dominguez. After tallying another hit against the Dodgers on Sunday, Dominguez is now batting .316 in his last seven games. New York Yankees outfielder Jasson Domínguez (24)Tom Horak-Imagn Images Unfortunately for Dominguez and New York, the 22-year-old was forced to exit Sunday's game early. There was initially no word from the Yankees on the reason for his removal, but that has since been revealed. According to Jorge Castillo of ESPN, the Yankees announced Dominguez was removed with a left thumb contusion. It was suffered when he stole second base in the fifth inning. While Dominguez has struggled to find consistency at the MLB level, this recent stretch from him was an encouraging sign that he was turning a corner. The highly-touted prospect owns a career .816 OPS in Minor League action. Advertisement Entering this game, Dominguez had just 288 plate appearance at the big league level. In those opportunities, he had tallied six home runs and 24 RBIs while posting a 112 OPS+ that rates above league average. The Yankees and their fans will certainly hope this injury is not too series. Now 39-21 with the best record in the American League, Detroit's ascent to the top of the Majors has been a wonder to behold. Following the series, Detroit made an announcement on a former Rule 5 draft pick who has become the Tigers' de facto closer, helping to shore up a bullpen tasked with shutting the door on opposing teams. "Will Vest is your Tigers @PrimitivPerform Reliever of the Month for May," they added. The 29-year-old native of Houston added a 1.14 WHIP and 15 strikeouts with just four walks during the month as the Tigers finished with the best record in Major League Baseball for the season heading into June. Vest was selected by the Seattle Mariners with the 12th pick in the 2020 Rule 5 draft out of the Tigers' organization on Dec. 10, 2020. Minnesota Lynx Make Important Napheesa Collier Announcement on Sunday

Minnesota Lynx Make Important Napheesa Collier Announcement on Sunday originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Minnesota Lynx are looking to make it seven wins in a row on Sunday when they take on the Golden State Valkyries at Chase Center. Advertisement The Lynx, who came up short last season by losing to the New York Liberty in the WNBA Finals, are back with a vengeance in 2025, and they've started off their campaign with a 6-0 record. The good news for the Lynx is that they got a major boost ahead of Sunday's contest. This comes in the form of four-time All-Star Napheesa Collier returning from injury. The team announced just before tip-off that Collier will be available to play against the Valkyries and that the 28-year-old will take on her usual role as a starter. Collier was forced to miss Friday's 74-71 win over the Phoenix Mercury with a knee injury. She entered Sunday's matchup with a questionable tag as she continued to recover from the issue. Advertisement The 2024 Commissioner's Cup MVP, however, was able to go through warm-ups without a hitch, which led to the team's decision to give her the green light to suit up against Golden State. In five games played this season, the 6-foot-1 forward has averaged 26.8 points on 52.7% shooting, 7.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.4 steals, 1.4 blocks and 1.4 triples in 35.4 minutes per contest. It remains to be seen whether Collier gets her usual workload in Sunday's game or if she is on some sort of minutes limit. It is worth noting that the Lynx get just one day off before they return to action on Tuesday in a home game against the Phoenix Mercury.
