The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the mock seat allotment results for KCET and NEET UG 2025 on 25 July 2025. Candidates who participated in the counselling process can now check their mock allotment status by visiting the official KEA website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in The registration process for the first round closed on 17 July 2025, and the last date to fill and lock choices was 22 July 2025 (till 6:00 PM). The mock allotment result provides candidates with an idea of the college or course they might get, based on their rank and preferences.KEA is also expected to announce the full NEET UG 2025 counselling schedule shortly. The final seat allotment results will be released after the option entry phase concludes.In addition, KEA has made the KCET 2025 mock allotment results available on its official site. You will have the option to either login with your CET number or through face scan. The Karnataka Examinations Authority, KEA, has started the procedure for choice entry, fee payment and confirmation slip download for KCET Counselling 2025, after the declaration of round 1 seat allotment result. Candidates who have been allotted engineering seats can find the link on the official website at KCET Round 1 Seat Allotment Results 2025: The link for option entry, fee payment and download of confirmation slip is active. KEA said in an official notice that candidates who entered options in the first round but have not been allotted any seat will not have any choice to choose, but can participate in the second round of seat allotment with their already entered options only after they have compulsorily login to the portal and selected the consent form. If a candidate feels that the seat allotted to him/her in the first round is acceptable but wishes to participate in the next round for higher order option above the seat allotted, then he/she must exercise Choice 2. Similarly, if a candidate is not satisfied with the allotted seat in the first round but wishes to participate in the next round for better options by surrendering the allotted seat, then he/she should exercise Choice 3. Besides, if a candidate is not satisfied with the allotted seat in the first round as well as not interested to participate in any rounds, he/she should exercise Choice 4. It is mandatory for all eligible candidates to participate in the second round within the stipulated date after the start of the process of entry of options for the second round. NEET UG 2025: Medical Counselling Committee approves 188 NRI quota conversions
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has granted approval for 188 NEET UG 2025 candidates to be shifted from the Indian category to the Non-Resident Indian (NRI) quota. As per the guidelines, these candidates must email their scanned documents to by August 3, updated list of NRI applicants was prepared after a detailed verification of the documents submitted, ensuring that all candidates met the eligibility requirements prescribed by to the official notification, 'The eligibility of candidates for seats reserved under the NRI quota is provisional, based on the documents submitted. Final verification will be carried out by the allotted colleges during reporting, and Embassy Certificates will be forwarded to the Ministry of External Affairs or the respective High Commissions for confirmation.'DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR NRI ADMISSION To secure admission under the NRI quota for MBBS or BDS courses, candidates must provide the following documents:NEET UG 2025 scorecard issued by NTASelf-attested declaration confirming NRI/OCI/PIO status or parent's NRI statusOCI/PIO card, if applicableNRI Embassy certificate for the candidate or parentMCC has clarified that candidates must present their original documents at the time of reporting to the allotted college.
