Man brutally beaten up by friend, stripped naked and paraded through village while neighbours filmed him
Thug Karl Griffins, 42, received a huge sentence after the horrifying ordeal was caught on camera by neighbours.

Swansea Crown Court heard that Griffins spent much of the day and evening of January 30 at a friend's house in the Welsh village of Penclawdd.
According to prosecutor Crag Jones, Griffins received a phone call and left the flat before returning and locking the door behind him.
Then, he told everyone inside that they couldn't leave.
Next, the court heard that he took the phones of his friend and his friend's partner and accused them of stealing from them though it was unclear whether he was accusing them of stealing money or drugs.
Griffins refused to return the couple's phones and then beat the pair with his friend's girlfriend's crutches.
The court heard that he punched his friend in the head, before demanding that he removed his clothes.
Reportedly, Griffins told his friend that they were 'going for a walk' and 'paraded him naked around the streets'.
Mobile phone footage of the victim near the Penclawdd CK store was recorded during the ordeal, before Griffins returned his friend to the flat.
The 42-year-old smashed his friend's TV before calling the police and saying: 'Someone better come and get me, I'm going to kill someone.'
Griffins was arrested and told authorities that he had gone to his friend's house after arguing with his mother.

He accused the friend of stealing from him and admitted to parading him naked in a bid to humiliate him.
Before appearing in the dock for sentencing, Griffins pleaded guilty to a slew of crimes including battery, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, criminal damage and kidnapping.
The 42-year-old was then slapped with a 31 month prison sentence, with half of his sentence to be served behind bars.
His defence said that no disagreement between Griffins and his friend "could not remotely justify the level of humiliation and violence" caused by his client.
He added that it was clear in the video footage that the victim was distressed as "he was marched through the centre of Penclawdd in a state of undress".
Griffins' defence said that his client's actions could be explained through him being intoxicated and that he was now facing his addiction to controlled drugs.
The 42-year-old has been granted enhanced-prisoner status at HMP Swansea and allegedly hopes that his former friend can forgive him in the future.
Griffins has a history of criminal activity, including non-domestic burglaries, supplying Class A drugs and weapons offences.

Cornwall surgeon accused of fraud over amputation of his own legs
A surgeon from Cornwall who carried out hundreds of amputations is appearing in court accused of lying over how he lost his own legs and encouraging another man to remove the body parts of others. Vascular surgeon Neil Hopper, 49, from Truro, was charged with three offences after a two-and-a-half-year investigation by Devon and Cornwall police. Hopper formerly worked for the Royal Cornwall hospitals NHS trust and has previously said he lost his legs to sepsis in 2019. Devon and Cornwall police said he faced two counts of fraud by false representation. The particulars are that 2019 he 'dishonestly made a false representation to insurers, namely the injuries to his legs were the result of sepsis and were not self-inflicted, intending to make a gain'. He was also charged with encouraging or assisting in the commission of grievous bodily harm. It is alleged that between August 2018 and December 2020 he bought videos from a website called The EunuchMaker showing the removal of limbs and 'encouraged Marius Gustavson to remove body parts of third parties'. Hopper was appearing at Bodmin magistrates court on Wednesday 23 July. The police said Royal Cornwall hospitals NHS trust, where Hopper has been employed, has worked closely with officers throughout the investigation. A spokesperson for the trust said: 'The charges do not relate to Mr Hopper's professional conduct and there has been no evidence to suggest any risk to patients. Mr Hopper worked in at the Royal Cornwall hospitals from 2013 until he was suspended from duty in March 2023, following his initial arrest.' 'I hate to say it but I'm more active since I lost my legs than I was before.' He was shortlisted in the European Space Agency's search for an astronaut with a disability.

THIS is the shocking moment a thief stole a hairdresser's £1,300 phone after pretending to need her help. Emma Horne, 42, was working at her salon in Warrington, Cheshire, last month when a man carrying a newspaper came in to ask for a haircut. 6 6 6 While the hairdresser begin to explain she didn't cut men's hair, the thief claims he is asking on behalf of his wife. Footage then shows Emma moving behind her desk in order to grab a price list flyer. However, this is when the thief strikes - tactically moving his newspaper to cover the hairdresser's phone, which is lying on top of the desk. After shadily placing the paper over the £1,300 Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, he appears to slowly shift the device under the covering. Orienting it closer to the edge, he locks a firm grip on Emma's precious device. The other hairdresser and clients in the background remained oblivious as the thief executed his fiendish plan. She insists she usually welcomes everybody into her salon but believes she'll be more wary of potential customers in future. Emma said: "I feel a bit wary about things now. "He did it so fast, we just didn't see him. It makes you feel a bit uneasy. "We've got cameras for our own security and they're still coming in and doing it. "We're quite friendly in our salon and we welcome everybody but I suppose you've still got to be on your guard because these people are out there going around nicking phones. "Someone said they saw him lurking outside so he was obviously watching me put my phone down." A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "At 11.38am on Tuesday 24 June, police were called to a report of theft at a hair salon in Time Square, Warrington.
