#1 HARRISBURG
Harrisburg is 12-1 this season, which has them as the top-seed in the state. They're also the top-ranked team in class 'A' baseball, according to the coaches poll.
The Tigers have won eight class 'A' league games in-a-row. They're last in-state loss was Thursday, April 10, with a 4-0 setback to Jefferson.
Harrisburg will play O'Gorman Thursday night, prior to the double header in Brookings.
Offense has been the name of the game for Harrisburg. They're scoring 8.9 runs per league game this season. They've scored in double figures nine of the 13 class 'A' games.
BROOKINGS
Brookings has played a lot of games this season, leading to a 10-14 league record. They were an even 9-9, but the last week has been tough on them, going 1-5.
Their losses tend to come when the pitching struggles.
Brookings has allowed five or more runs 14 times this season. They're just 1-13 in those games. That means they've allowed less than five runs in 10 games, going 9-1.
