Scottish couple found dead after camping at Highlands beauty spot
The bodies of Adele Tait and her partner Craig were discovered on the shores of Loch Awe, in Argyll, on Saturday.
Police said there were no suspicious circumstances.
The pair are understood to have lived together in Longridge, a village in West Lothian.
Adele's mother Anne said in a statement reported by The Sun: 'I am devastated to be writing this – my eldest daughter Adele and her partner Craig have sadly passed away.
'The family are heartbroken at this time.
'You are my firstborn, the one who made me a mum.
"I'm in pieces, another part of my heart is in heaven.'
Police Scotland said: 'A man and woman were found deceased within a tent on the side of Loch Awe at 4.25pm on Saturday.
'Their deaths are not being treated as suspicious.'
Loch Awe is the longest freshwater loch in Scotland at 25 miles in length. The pair were reported to have been discovered near Dalmally, at the north end of the loch.
Loch Awe is overlooked by the Cruachan Dam and Ben Cruachan, a Munro and the highest mountain in Argyll.
The dramatic scenery was used in the filming of the hit Star Wars show Andor.
