The reigning king of Hip-Hop is headed to the Queen City.
On Saturday, May 3, Kendrick Lamar headlines at Charlotte's Lenovo Center with SZA as part of their ongoing 'Grand National Tour.'
Their Charlotte concert will be the duo's fifth show of the international run. In their first gig, the pair ended up performing 52 (!) songs between them over nine acts that were collaborative at times.

'This is the truest depiction of a co-headlining tour, as Lamar and SZA traded sets every few songs, his usually drenched in black and white and dimly lit and hers filled with images and costumes related to her bug fascination,' USA Today wrote, in a glowing review of the live show.
As of now, last-minute tickets are still available to see the twosome live at the Lenovo Center.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets was $171 including fees on Vivid Seats.
Floor-level seats start at $395.55 including fees.

On Nov. 22, 2024, Lamar shocked the world with his previously-unannounced sixth studio album 'GNX.'
Made up of 12 tracks, the talented lyricist delivers his trademark punchy rhymes — that are almost impossible to get out of your head in the best way — over sparse drumbeats and samples.

Personally, our favorite tracks here are the impressively minimalist rapper's delight 'wacced out murals' (which ended up opening his halftime show), Latin-infused 'reincarnated' and lively party-starter 'tv off' feat. lefty gunplay.
Stick around until the end, too. Kendrick teams up with SZA for the evocative, sensitive duet 'gloria.' We can't wait to hear this one live IRL (especially now that we know it's literally the show's encore).
