I tried a £9.99 neck fan from Amazon and it's a must buy
Keeping cool while still doing what you want to do can be tricky when the heat feels sticky and gets unbearable. That's where a small gadget comes in – a neck cooler, which is a fan I've started to use to keep myself cool. You've probably seen them around but if you've not yet made the purchase, here's what I thought when I ordered one for £9.99 on Amazon. The neck fan cooled me down in minutes and is now a summer essential for me (Image: Newsquest) I tried an Amazon neck fan and I don't know why I've not bought one sooner I ordered the Bladeless Neck Cooler from LYMYBETY for a bargain price and to be honest, I wasn't expecting much since it really didn't break the bank. However, I was pleasantly surprised when trying it out as it even cooled me down quickly after a very hot and sweaty netball match – what a result! The design is sturdy, but the fan fits around my neck and is quite comfortable to wear while it cools me down. You can choose from black and white, but I went for black as I didn't want the white one to get marked, as it could be more noticeable. How to cope with hot weather The fan itself fits around your neck like a pair of headphones so you can go about your day wearing it. Within minutes, I noticed a difference in how I was feeling – the fan really did cool me down, and with it being around my neck, it seemed to target the right areas to make me feel better. The fan came with a good amount of charge already in it, but you get a charging lead so you can power it up for your next use. You have to make sure the fan part is facing upwards to feel any cool air, but apart from that, it's easy to pick up and go. It has three speed settings so you can have the air flowing faster or slower depending on how cool you want to feel with just a click of a button. The fan is a bargain and does the job (Image: Newsquest) Is the neck fan worth it? Overall, I think this gadget is one I'll use time and time again, especially when I want to cool myself down quickly or keep myself at a cool temperature. I like that it's a gadget that I could pick up and know how to use straight away, it was so simple to get it working. One thing I need to get used to is the slight vibration on the higher speed setting. Recommended reading: The neck fan can be a little noisy, especially as it progresses to the higher setting but I don't think it would cause too much of an issue when out and about. So far, my long hair hasn't been caught in the fan and since it's bladeless, I'm hoping this will never be a problem. Future uses that spring to mind are while on flights or as I'm stepping off the plane into humid air, during hot summer days when I'm sat at my desk working and after many a netball match. For £9.99, I'm impressed with its performance so far and hope it lasts well as I keep using it.

Paige Spiranac stuns in racy outfit for Travis Kelce and brother Jason's beer brand
Paige Spiranac stunned in an Instagram post promoting Travis Kelce and brother Jason's beer brand on Tuesday. It was announced back in June 2024 that the NFL brothers were investing in the company, which is owned by the Braxton Brewing Corporation in Kentucky. As of April this year, it is America's fastest-growing light beer and now available in all 50 states. And now they've recruited a social media heavyweight to promote the brand after they posted a picture of Spiranac on their social media accounts. The golf influencer, who has four million followers on Instagram, can be seen walking into a bar with a pack of Garage Beer. A fellow patron is staring at her in the background. In the photo, Spiranac is wearing a pair of denim shorts and a low-cut black top that shows off her cleavage, as well as some black leather boots. The brand's Instagram account captioned the post 'Paige walks into a bar...' and she replied to them with a series of eyes emojis. It is a shrewd choice of ambassador by the brand with Spiranac's reach going beyond golf fans. She has a huge social media following and is even set to play a small role in the Hollywood blockbuster Happy Gilmore 2. Spiranac, 32, was at the premiere in New York on Monday night and posed for the cameras on the red carpet. She once again left little to the imagination as she walked the red carpet in a figure-hugging red dress that featured a sheer skirt. In a teaser trailer, Spiranac is working at Dick's Sporting Goods store and has the job of assisting Happy. In one scene, she watches on helplessly as Adam Sandler's titular character smashes a golf ball through the projector screen. 'The fact that I'm in the Happy Gilmore 2 movie is actually insane lol,' she wrote on X when the trailer was released. She is one of several high-profile names from the world of golf to feature in the movie with Rory McIlroy, Bryson DeChambeau and Scottie Scheffler also making cameos. The golf influencer stole the show in a figure-hugging red dress that featured a sheer skirt Travis Kelce also appears, although he was not at the premiere on Monday as he's now back in training camp with the Kansas City Chiefs. Taylor Swift's boyfriend landed a role in the film as a hotel employee, with one scene giving him the chance to share the screen with Bad Bunny. And while Kelce skipped out on the premiere, it's clear he made an impression on Sandler during filming. 'They were both so confident and so funny. They're gonna go on and do whatever the hell they want,' Sandler told The Hollywood Reporter of Kelce and Bad Bunny. 'But I'd love to do something with them again, because I got very friendly with them, and I love them both.' Sandler also joked to Extra TV that he 'didn't want to bother' Kelce's pop star girlfriend about a potential role in the film.
