Single White Female star Jennifer Jason Leigh is nearly unrecognizable for rare outing in LA
The actress, 63 - who is known for her roles in films such as the 90s cult classic Single White Female - was seen enjoying a relaxing summer stroll in a quiet neighborhood with a male companion.
She kept it casual wearing a pair of burgundy-colored sweatpants as well as a long-sleeved gray top.
Leigh slipped into a comfy sneakers and added a cream-colored sunhat on top of her blonde locks.
The Oscar-nominated star cradled a water bottle in the crook of her arm while also holding fresh fruit in her hand.
Jennifer kicked off her successful acting career in the 70s and has worked alongside a number of stars over the years including Natalie Portman, Tim Roth, Kurt Russell, Christian Bale and Samuel L. Jackson.
Leigh - who is the daughter of screenwriter Barbara Turner and actor Vic Morrow - first began making small appearances in shows such as The Waltons and Family.
In 1982, she starred in the comedic film Fast Times At Ridgemont High with Phoebe Cates, Sean Penn and Judge Reinhold.
The actress continued to take on roles in projects throughout the 80s and gained wider recognition when she played a leading role in Last Exit To Brooklyn (1989).
In 1992, Jennifer appeared alongside Bridget Fonda in the cult classic Single White Female, which was based on the 1990 thriller novel titled SWF Seeks Same by John Lutz.
The premise followed: 'A woman advertising for a new roommate finds that something very strange is going on with the tenant who decides to move in,' per IMDB.
A sequel in 2005 was released and The Roommate (2011) - which starred Leighton Meester and Minka Kelly - also had a similar storyline to the cult classic.
While talking to Interview Magazine back in 2015, Jennifer Jason Leigh - who played antagonist Hedra in the 1992 film - opened up about playing that kind of character.
'I certainly enjoy playing those types of people. They're easier to play in a way, because they're farther away from who you are, but you can tap into things you would never act out on in your own life, or never expose to everyone,' she stated.
'They're the things nightmares and dreams are made of, but they're not anywhere you would actually want to go or dwell in.
The Weeds actress added, 'It's fun to do that in a really safe, creative way, and probably really healthy, I think.'
Earlier this year in March, it was revealed that the movie is set to get a reboot - with Jenna Ortega and Taylor Russell in talks to take on the leading roles.
Leigh also went on to star in additional films such as Georgia (1995), Washington Square (1997), Road To Perdition (2002) and The Machinist (2004).
She also jumped to the television screen when she played a recurring role in the series Weeds.
Jennifer received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Quentin Tarantino's western thriller The Hateful Eight (2015).
The movie had also starred Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Roth, Walton Goggins and Michael Madsen.
During a past interview with The Guardian, Leigh reflected on having the chance to work with the Oscar-winning director.
'He just sees you and what you're capable of. That's such a blessing, and it really made me remember who I was as an actress; I just had forgotten,' she said of Tarantino.
'Not in a bitter or sad way; it was just like I didn't feel particularly meaningful or relevant right now. I was okay with it, I had other things going on and that's fine. It's just the way things go.'
She added, 'This is really remarkable for me. Honestly, I still look at the poster for The Hateful Eight and I can't believe I'm in the movie. I love it so much and the experience was so grand. It really was exceptional.'
Jennifer later appeared in the sci-fi movie Annihilation (2018) and Sharp Stick (2022).
The star also starred in the Netflix series Atypical for a total of four seasons from 2017 until 2021.
She collaborated with Chris Pine in his 2023 movie Poolman which he not only starred in, but also wrote, produced and directed.
Leigh played Lorraine Lyon in the fifth season of the crime drama series Fargo from 2023-2024.
While talking to Vanity Fair, the actress reflected on taking on a larger role in television instead of film.
Alongside her thriving Hollywood career, Jennifer is also mom to son Rohmer, 15, whom she shares with ex-husband Noah Baumbach; Baumbach seen with Rohmer and wife Greta Gerwig in 2024 in Hollywood
'Yeah, TV's great now. When I was coming up, TV was a stepping stone to film. Everyone wanted to make movies. Those were where the great parts were. Now a lot of the best writing is TV. You just want the great role.'
Leigh added, 'There's not really a difference of where it's going to end up or what it's specifically for initially, because everything's going to end up on Netflix or Apple or Max - it's all going to end up there.
'You just hope that people can see it and they're not watching it on their phones, but even if they are, they seem to be getting it.'
Alongside her thriving Hollywood career, Jennifer is also mom to son Rohmer, 15, whom she shares with ex-husband Noah Baumbach.

Julian McMahon's former Charmed co-star Alyssa Milano pays tribute to her 'dear friend' after his death at 56
Alyssa Milano has paid tribute to Julian McMahon, her late Charmed co-star and 'dear friend' who tragically died at age 56. The pair played Phoebe Halliwell and Cole Turner on Charmed, and their characters were even briefly married on the show. Now Milano, 52, is remembering her former co-star following his death this week. A 'heartbroken' Milano shared photos of them together, including pictures from their time playing lovers on Charmed. She called his death 'too soon' and 'unfair' as she sent her condolences to his family. 'I'm heartbroken,' her post began. 'Julian McMahon was magic. That smile. That laugh. That talent. That presence. He walked into a room and lit it up—not just with charisma, but with kindness. With mischief. With soulful understanding. 'We spent years together on Charmed—years of scenes, stories, and so many in-between moments. He made me feel safe as an actor. Seen as a woman. He challenged me, teased me, supported me. We were so different, and yet somehow we always understood each other. 'Julian was more than my TV husband. He was a dear friend. The kind who checks in. The kind who remembers. The kind who shares. The kind who tells you the truth, even when it's uncomfortable—but always with love. 'My heart is with Kelly, with Madison, and with Iliana—his girls, his world. He adored them. You could feel it in every conversation, every story, every text. He was a family man above all, and he loved deeply. 'Losing him feels unreal. Too soon. Too unfair. Rest, my friend. I'll carry your laugh with me. Forever Cole. Forever Julian.' McMahon passed away at 56 following a secret battle with cancer, his wife Kelly revealed in a heartbreaking statement on Friday. His wife said: 'With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer.' Julian's last public appearance was alongside Nicolas Cage at SXSW in Austin, Texas back in March as he looked thin as he promoted psychological thriller The Surfer. Kelly - whom he married in 2014 - continued by expressing the love Julian had for his fans and those around him and what being an actor meant to him during his life. 'Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible. 'We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy. And we wish for all of those to whom Julian brought joy, to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories, she added in her statement obtained by Deadline. The talented actor was best known for his role as Dr. Christian Troy on the FX series Nip/Tuck. He starred alongside Dylan Walsh who portrayed Sean McNamara in the campy medical drama which ran for six seasons from 2003 to 2010. The star was even nominated for the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Drama Television Series in 2004 where he was bested by Ian McShane for his role in HBO series Deadwood. Julian later starred as Jess LaCroix on the CBS series FBI: Most Wanted beginning 2020 but made a surprise exit in March 2022 after three seasons. He previously made his name on Australian television soap opera Home & Away in which he starred as main star Ben Lucini from 1990 to 1991. The actor went on to star as Detective John Grant in American crime drama Profiler from 1996 to 2000. He then won the hearts of many as he portrayed Cole Turner in Charmed seasons 3 through 5 from 2000 to 2003 before returning as a guest for season 7 in 2005. The Sydney, Australia native also had success on the big screen as he starred as iconic supervillain Dr. Doom in two Marvel movies Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer (2007). Julian and wife Kelly had been together for 11 years before marrying in a romantic ceremony in Lake Tahoe, a lakeside area on the edge of California and Nevada, in 2014. It was his third marriage. Has Scarlett Johansson rescued the Jurassic Park movies?
Darwin was wrong: in the Jurassic Park movies it seems to be survival of the wheeziest. Ever since Steven Spielberg unveiled his theme park in 1993, the series has been in a process of slow devolution, as successive film-makers have sought to revive its constituent Spielbergian genomes — with a brief flurry of originality in the form of Chris Pratt and his amazing velociraptor-whisperer act. In Jurassic World Dominion (2022) the series reached a state of terminal inbreeding, featuring kidnaps, assassins, a Jason Bourne-style chase through the backstreets of Malta and a mysterious woman in a daringly asymmetric dress who seemed to have wandered over from one of the Mission: Impossible films. Instead of dinosaurs, the director seemed to clone every other blockbuster within a ten-mile radius.

Angelina Jolie's daughter Shiloh, 19, enjoys Fourth of July sweet treat with rumored love interest Keoni Rose
's daughter Shiloh spent the Fourth of July with her gal pal Keoni Rose. The duo enjoyed an Independence Day sweet treat as they stopped by Fonuts bakery in Studio City. Shiloh wore a black 'BANG' sweatshirt, shorts, and chunky trainers while Keoni bared her midriff in a tattered grey tank top and low-slung sweatpants. The duo emerged victorious from the bakery, bag of goodies in Shiloh's hand. Shiloh, who is the daughter of Angelina and Brad Pitt, and her pal have been rumored to be dating ever since they put on an affectionate display last November. Shiloh, 19, and Keoni appear to have bonded over their shared passion for dancing. Keoni has a background in ballet dancing. She is also interested in acting, modeling and screenwriting. The pair were seen sharing an affectionate moment back in November, with Keoni sweetly brushing some of Shiloh's hair away from her face. They have been seen together numerous times since, as recently as last week. Shiloh is the daughter of Angelina and Brad Pitt. In addition to Shiloh, the former couple share five kids: Maddox, 23; Pax, 21; Zahara, 20; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16. Recently a source told People that the children are doing fine after the finalization of the Pitt/Jolie divorce: 'The kids are amazing and thriving,' said the insider. Brad and Angelina began dating after shooting the 2005 film Mr. & Mrs. Smith together, and they tied the knot years later in 2014. But Jolie filed for divorce in 2016, just days after an infamous incident aboard a private jet in which she accused Brad of being physically and verbally abusive toward her and her children. She claimed her then-spouse was intoxicated at the time. In the wake of their separation and divorce, Brad's relationship with his children began to suffer. A source told Us Weekly on Thursday that the actor's 'biggest regret' is his inability to repair his relationship with his children. The insider described Pitt and Jolie's eight-year-long divorce proceedings as 'such a divisive, toxic situation.' The source indicated that events preceding the split — like the plane altercation — and the subsequent rancorous court battle 'turned the kids against him as well,' though they noted that the Tree Of Life star 'doesn't blame [Jolie] for everything.' Although Pitt reportedly hopes to save his relationship with his children, a source previously revealed to why he sees his relationship with his children as 'unfixable.' Us Weekly's source said his 'biggest regret is he can't repair [his relationship with his kids],' adding, 'The case is over but there are no winners.' While it was a 'relief' to finally be done with the divorce proceedings, the source added that its 'lasting impact is something he's going to live with forever.' Pitt's strained relationship with his children was epitomized by his daughter Shiloh's petition in court to drop his last name in August 2024. His daughter Zahara has also referred to herself since going to college only by her mother's last name, and his daughter Vivienne used only 'Jolie' for her last name when she was credited in Playbill for her work assisting her mother in producing the Broadway musical The Outsiders. The oldest two, his adopted sons Maddox and Pax, have been particularly vocal about their distaste for their father. Pitt still has visitation with his youngest twins as part of his custody agreement with Jolie because they are under 18, but he reportedly rarely sees his adult children.
