Organized under the auspices of Greek Member of the European Parliament Professor Nikolas Farantouris, the exhibition aims to highlight the role of art in fostering intercultural understanding, migration narratives, and civilizational dialogue in Europe.

'I invited Jamal to Brussels because I consider him one of the most distinguished contemporary artists of our generation,' said MEP Prof. Farantouris. 'His work reflects the anguish and the creative spirit of people from the Mediterranean and the Middle East. His message is a universal one - calling for peace, dignity, and shared human values.'
Following the official inauguration, guests will be invited to a welcome reception accompanied by a live piano performance by Prof. Farantouris, who is not only a respected parliamentarian and professor of European law but also an accomplished classical pianist.

A Civilizational Journey Through Art
Jamal Joratli, born in Syria and trained in Europe, blends Eastern artistic heritage with European classicism and modern abstraction. His layered canvases reflect the personal experiences of immigrants, turning memory into a shared visual language.
'Every painting is a journey,' said Joratli. 'From Syria to Athens, Florence to New York, my work reflects a meeting of worlds. Through art, I build bridges - not borders.'

Bad Bunny is celebrating the Puerto Rican diaspora and immigrant community this Fourth of July with a political statement. The Puerto Rican reggaeton star released the music video for "NUEVAYoL" off his latest album "DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS" on Friday morning, seemingly taking a stand against Donald Trump's anti-immigrant policies and rhetoric. Towards the end of the video, as people huddle around an old school radio, a voice meant to emulate Trump's very own can be heard saying: "I made a mistake. I want to apologize to the immigrants in America." "I'm in the United States. I know America is the whole continent," the faux Trump continues. "I want to say that this country is nothing without the immigrants. This country is nothing without Mexicans, Dominicans, Puerto Ricans, Colombians, Venezuelans, Cubans …" Recently, due to Trump's ongoing immigration crackdown, Southern California has been the epicenter of dozens of ICE raids since early June. On July 3, Congress passed Trump's "Big Beautiful Bill," which will allocate $45 billion for immigration detention centers as well as about $30 billion to hire more ICE personnel, for transportation costs and to maintain ICE facilities, according to NPR. CD Projekt Red Announces ‘Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2' at Anime Expo
CD Projekt Red is returning to the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners universe with a new stand-alone entry, which the game developer announced alongside the anime series' showrunner during a panel at Anime Expo on Friday. The video game developer will once again partner with the animation studio Trigger for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, which, like its predecessor, will stream on Netflix. An official logo and poster art were shared as part of CD PROJEKT RED's 'Cyberpunk: Edgerunners — Behind the Scenes With its Creators,' with a promise that later in the day, Trigger would tease new footage for the series at the Peacock Theater as part of its own panel. '[Cyberpunk: Edgerunner's] David [Martinez's] story might be over, but there's plenty more to discover in Night City.
