Sudarshan Chemical Industries Ltd surged 10.77% to Rs 1384.2 at 11:46 IST. The stock was the biggest gainer in the BSE's 'A' group. On the BSE, 41760 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 4871 shares in the past one month.
Sterlite Technologies Ltd soared 6.71% to Rs 124.85. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 8.5 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 6.33 lakh shares in the past one month.
Cartrade Tech Ltd spiked 6.41% to Rs 2019.35. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 63622 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 16544 shares in the past one month.
Laurus Labs Ltd spurt 6.35% to Rs 891.25. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 6.59 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 1.02 lakh shares in the past one month.
Advanced Enzyme Technologies Ltd advanced 5.71% to Rs 345. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 72160 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 15281 shares in the past one month.

Live Events (You can now subscribe to our (You can now subscribe to our Economic Times WhatsApp channel New Delhi: The MSME (Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises) ministry has simplified the process for availing incentives under a scheme that supports reduction of material wastage to promote green practices among micro and small enterprises (MSEs).The ministry, after reviewing the Scheme for Promotion and Investment in Circular Economy (SPICE), has created a technology portal which lists 116 technologies eligible to receive subsidy under the scheme, said an official aware of the development. The measure is important as the government aims to enrol 3400 MSEs under the scheme by encourages the adoption of circular economy technology among MSEs by subsidising a part of the technology acquisition enterprises from eleven sectors such as plastic, rubber, and electronic waste, are eligible to apply for a subsidy under the scheme. They need to apply to banks or participating financial institutions (PFIs) to claim a subsidy. Under the scheme, the maximum project cost admissible is Rs 50 lakh, with a 25% subsidy on the cost of plant and machinery only."As part of the technology portal, the ministry has identified 116 technologies eligible for subsidies under SPICE," said the detailed listing of technologies was important as earlier banks would reject applications due to lack of proper information on these.

Exide bets on innovation, expansion to boost exports
1 2 Kolkata: Storage battery major Exide Industries is focusing on innovation and expansion across geographies in a bid to enhance exports in the medium term. In the last fiscal, exports contributed around 8% to the company's turnover. "We have come out with a lot of innovative products targeted for exports which we have never done in the past," said Avik Roy, managing director and CEO, at the 78th annual general meeting. "We have entered new countries to make our business more resilient and distributed and not dependent on one or two geographies," Roy added. Roy said. The company said it has so far invested around Rs 3,700 crore in the first phase of the lithium-ion cell manufacturing project in Bengaluru. "We will probably invest another Rs 600-700 crore in this this we see that the requirement for the phase I of the 6 gigawatt hour will be met. At the end of this fiscal year we are likely to start the trial production commercially. We will see the utilisation of the 6 gigawatt hour factory, and then we will gradually plan for phase II," Roy said.

Arvind SmartSpaces posts net profit of ₹11.96 crore in Q1 FY26
NEW DELHI: Arvind SmartSpaces a has reported a growth of 159.44 per cent in its net consolidated profit during the quarter ended June 30, 2025. Its profit after tax stood at ₹11.96 crore in Q1 FY26 as against ₹4.61 crore it registered in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing. The company's net consolidated total income stood at ₹106.39 crore in Q1 FY26, a growth of 37.79 per cent from ₹77.21 crore it recorded in the similar quarter last year. Kamal Singal , managing director of the company said, "In Q1, revenue grew 37% year-on-year to ₹102 crore, adj. EBITDA improved 205% year-on-year to ₹24.5 crore, and PAT increased 159% year-on-year to ₹12 crore. Further, we continue to generate positive operational cash flows and balance sheet remains strong with net debt at ₹(50) crore. On the business development front, we are actively evaluating several opportunities and are confident of maintaining a healthy addition run rate, in line with the performance seen over the past couple of years. We are on track to conclude the ongoing business plan of adding new projects with a cumulative topline potential of ₹5,000 crore across Gujarat, Bengaluru and MMR." The company reported bookings were at ₹175 crore as against ₹201 crore last year while collections amounted to ₹191 crore as against ₹249 crore in the previous fiscal. Its net debt (Interest bearing funds) was at ₹(50) crore as on June 30, 2025. Net debt to equity ratio stood at (0.08) as on June 30, 2025 as against 0.04 as on Mar 31, 2025.
