A recipient of the National Arts Council's Young Artist Award in 2024, Low has worked on over 200 songs.

He is best known for being a co-composer and musician on recent National Day Parade songs The Road Ahead (2021) sung by artistes such as Linying, Not Alone (2024) by Benjamin Kheng and the 2018 remake of We Are Singapore.
The artiste also known as Evanturetime has also toured with international pop star and Taiwanese singer A-mei and has performed to massive crowds in venues such as the Beijing National Stadium in China.
Low, who first took piano lessons at the age of five, graduated from Singapore Polytechnic with a Diploma in Music and Audio Technology. He then honed his skills at famed American music school Berklee College of Music, thanks to scholarships from the school as well as the Media Development Authority.
This episode was recorded and filmed in front of a live audience of nearly 80 attendees on June 3 - at swish nightspot Rasa at Republic Plaza, as part of the ST Podcast Live! Sessions celebrating 180 years of The Straits Times in 2025.

Edison Chen allegedly threatens to get JAL flight attendant fired for letting another passenger disembark first Dorcas Lim The Straits Times June 23, 2025 Hong Kong artiste Edison Chen allegedly threatened to make a flight attendant lose her job while on a flight between Tokyo and New York on June 1. On the Japan Airlines (JAL) flight, the attendant had reportedly allowed another Japanese passenger to disembark before Chen, leading him to retort: "Why do you want me to move for this man while I'm getting my bag? Because he's a VIP. I'm sorry, can you read (the boarding pass) again? Tell me what that says. Well, is there something about diamond (class)?" According to a Xiaohongshu user who uploaded his account of the incident on social media, Chen was retrieving his baggage from the overhead compartment when passengers hurried him forward. The female flight attendant then reportedly told Chen that the Japanese passenger was a "JMB Diamond member" who would be entitled to priority disembarkation, ahead of him. JMB Diamond, which Chen also holds, is the highest membership tier in JAL's FLY ON programme. The Dead Or Alive 2: Birds (2000) actor reportedly demanded a complaint form and said that he would make sure the flight attendant loses her job. Hong Kong online media Dimsum Daily reported that Chen's manager is currently in talks with Chen and JAL to address the incident. Chen was previously embroiled in a sex scandal in 2008 after photos of him engaging in intimate acts with Hong Kong artistes such as Cecilia Cheung and Gillian Chung were leaked online. The scandal resulted in him leaving the entertainment industry for 16 years, before he returned to perform as part of the music group 3Cornerz at pop culture carnival ComplexCon Hong Kong in 2024. Chen has been married to Chinese supermodel Qin Shupei since 2007, and they have an eight-year-old daughter Alaia. At least $26,000 lost in about 2 weeks to Blackpink concert ticket scams

PHOTO: YG ENTERTAINMENT At least $26,000 lost in about 2 weeks to Blackpink concert ticket scams SINGAPORE – At least $26,000 has been lost in about two weeks to scams over fake concert tickets to shows by K-pop girl group Blackpink. The police said on June 24 that there were at least 18 reported cases in which victims bought fake concert tickets through third-party platforms. The K-pop quartet will stage two shows – on Nov 29 and 30 – at the National Stadium in November as part of their highly anticipated Deadline world tour. The police said that victims would respond to advertisements or listings of concert tickets for sale on online platforms such as Telegram, Carousell, X, Facebook Messenger, and Xiaohongshu. Some scammers would provide screenshots or videos of fake tickets or receipts to convince the victims that the tickets were authentic. Scammers would also claim that ticket sales were time-sensitive or limited in quantity and promise to deliver the tickets to the victims after successful payment. There were at least 18 reported cases in which victims bought fake concert tickets through third-party platforms. PHOTO: SINGAPORE POLICE FORCE In some cases, when victims did not receive their concert tickets, scammers would request additional payments by claiming that they did not receive the payments made by the victims. It was only when the scammers became uncontactable or did not deliver the tickets that the victims realised they had been taken for a ride. The police said th at at least 128 scam reports were lodged in 2023 in relation to Blackpink's Born Pink concerts in Singapore, with total losses amounting to at least $206,000. The victims were mostly female Singaporean students aged between 10 and 29. The police added that under the terms and conditions of the sale of Blackpink concert tickets in Singapore, the tickets cannot be transferred or resold. Those who are found to have purchased resale tickets will be turned away from the concert at the Singapore Sports Hub, where the National Stadium is located, with no refund. The police have also reached out to platforms such as Carousell, Facebook Marketplace and TikTok to take down listings of resale tickets. The police advise the public to download the ScamShield app and to purchase tickets to the Blackpink concert from only Ticketmaster, the authorised platform for ticketing services.
