A book of condolences is being opened at Villa Park. Chief operations officer Ben Hatton, who worked with Ozzy and his family on the show, said: 'Eighteen days ago we all witnessed an historic night at Villa Park.

More on Ozzy Osbourne...
On tours in the US, Lady Gaga put on an Ozzy T-shirt and played his 1980 debut solo song Crazy Train, while Coldplay honoured him by performing Black Sabbath's 1972 hit Changes.

Ozzy, who sold 100 million records worldwide over six decades, gained a new following with US reality show The Osbournes, which ran from 2002 to 2005.
The Sun understands a BBC series following Ozzy and Sharon is still expected to air.
'DON'T BE SAD'
OZZY previously revealed he did not want his funeral to be sad.
He said in a 2011 interview: 'A lot of people see nothing but misery their whole lives, so by any measure, most of us in this country, especially rock stars like me, are very lucky.'
Ozzy claimed to not care what was played, even 'a medley of Justin Bieber, Susan Boyle and We Are the Diddymen if it makes them happy'. But in 2016 he said he wanted The Beatles' A Day In The Life, as they inspired him to become a musician.
We first revealed the couple and their children Jack and Kelly had agreed to allow cameras to follow their return to the UK in 2022.
Coming Home To Roost was planned as a ten-part series.

A source said: 'Discussions are ongoing.
'It seems more than likely that the rushes will be turned into a one-off film.
'The team think it could be something incredibly special.'
A new documentary, No Escape From Now, is set to air on Paramount+ later this year, following his life since a fall in 2019 — before his Parkinson's diagnosis — left him needing a series of ops on his back and neck.

When the film was announced in February, Sharon said of the documentary: 'It shows how hard things have been for him and the courage he has shown while dealing with a number of serious health issues.
'It's about the reality of his life now.

'We hope that story will inspire people that are facing similar issues to Ozzy.'
When news of his death broke, Tania and Phil Alexander, from production company Echo Velvet, said: 'Filming with him and his family for the last three-and-a-half years will always be a cherished experience.
"Largely because we got to regularly witness Ozzy's indomitable spirit, his mischievous, irresistible grin and his masterful display of unique one-liners.'
A biopic about Ozzy's life is also in the works — with Sony in line to create the blockbuster for screening in 2027.

Speaking about the project on July 4, Jack told The Sun: 'It's going to be raw.
'We are not pulling any punches, we are really laying it all out.
'The director we have is absolutely phenomenal.
'The film is in good hands.'

From watermelons to bats - wacky and wonderful tributes paid to Black Sabbath's Ozzy Osbourne

Watch as fans continue to pay tribute to Birmingham's own Ozzy Osbourne - with cards, flowers and gifts spilling out onto the pavement A week on from the death of the Prince of Darkness, his spirit continues to provide a light to many in the city. Amid news that a cortège will pass through the city centre tomorrow (Wednesday, 30 July), fans are still coming together to pay their respects and leave tributes. Ozzy is certainly known for being eccentric and his legacy has inspired his fans to truly be themselves. And that can certainly be seen in the wide range of tributes left to him across the city. At the Black Sabbath bridge in Broad Street in Birmingham, fans have left signed guitars, toy bats, t-shirts and even watermelons. Beers, whiskies, and lighters are right next to flowers and cards with heartfelt words. The band members on the bench are draped in Aston Villa scarves and memorabilia. Black Sabbath are famously from Aston, and it was only three weeks ago that they performed their final show together there "Back to the Beginning". Notes also surround the bridge in all languages from Ozzy's international fans from around the world. One of the most visible ones is a sign tied to flowers. It says "od Grzeska z redzina", which is "From friends and family" in Polish. Among those paying tribute today is schoolgirl Eliza Finn-O'Shea. She's a huge metal head and Black Sabbath fan who has been to the bridge three times to pay her respects. She plans on coming back again for the procession tomorrow. She said: "I'm going to come here tomorrow because I want to support Sharon, because two years ago I met her at the Ozzy Ball and she was absolutely lovely to me. "He's amazing and I love him and his songs. Ozzy is Birmingham." At the newly made Black Sabbath mural opposite Birmingham New Street Station, fans there loved Ozzy for his attitude. One said: "What I loved about Ozzy and Black Sabbath is that it really gives you this feeling to live your life true to yourself and don't care what you think and follow other people's rules - which Ozzy clearly never did." One child at the mural even donated one of his bat teddies to be placed next to the Ozzy mural. They said: "I was very sad. It was one of his teddies but he wanted to donate it for Ozzy."

Ozzy Osbourne will be laid to rest in a private funeral for family and friends tomorrow, but before that, there will be a special procession through Birmingham Ozzy Osbourne will be laid to rest in a private funeral in Birmingham tomorrow. The Black Sabbath star died last week after paramedics spent two hours trying to revive the rocker. ‌ He had a number of health complications before his death and just weeks before, he had performed at his final ever concert at Villa Park. Ozzy had always wanted to come back to the UK to spend time with his family before his death. ‌ A procession will move down Broad Street in central Birmingham tomorrow, starting at around 1pm. The cortege will be followed by his family and they will make their way to Black Sabbath bridge and bench. ‌ Broad Street will be closed from 7am to allow for the procession to take place and will reopen soon after. Fans are expected to arrive in their thousands to pay tribute to the Black Sabbath star. The Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Councillor Zafar Iqbal MBE, JP, said: "Ozzy was more than a music legend - he was a son of Birmingham. Having recently been awarded the Freedom of the City and following his celebrated appearance at the Back to the Beginning concert at Villa Park earlier this month, it was important to the city that we support a fitting, dignified tribute ahead of a private family funeral. We know how much this moment will mean to his fans. ‌ "We're proud to host it here with his loving family in the place where it all began, and we are grateful that they have generously offered to pay to enable this to happen and support the city is giving him the farewell he deserves." For those unable to attend in person, they will be able to watch the live feed of the Black Sabbath bridge, where floral tributes have been left for the rocker. The cortege will also be brought here for one final look at the tributes left by fans. ‌ Elsewhere, those wishing to pay tribute to Ozzy, can head to the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery to sign a book of condolence. It sits alongside the Ozzy Osbourne Working Class Hero exhibition, which Sharon Osbourne opened last month. There is also a Black Sabbath Mural on Navigation Street, Ozzy the Bull at New Street Station and The Station pub, which is where Black Sabbath first played all the way back in 1968. Ozzy said he was "desperate to come home" to the UK and his native Birmingham but the move had been delayed by his battle with Parkinson's and the various surgeries for a spinal injury that he had to undergo. Back in May, he heartbreakingly said: "It's time for me to spend some time with my grandkids. I don't want to die in a hotel room somewhere. I want to spend the rest of my life with my family."

Popular websites that you may not expect now have ID checks. But how does the check work? The way Brits surf the internet has undergone a seismic shift as the Online Safety Act comes into force. Web users now face having to prove their age when visiting sites with adult content. First passed into law back in 2023, the bill started to take effect on Friday (July 25) and has already caused some huge changes. Prompts to pass an age-check have been introduced - and not only on major pornography websites. Here's all you need to know: Which websites require age verification now? Reddit has introduced age-checks under the Online Safety Act's new rules | TIMOTHY A. CLARY/AFP via Getty Images If you live in the UK, you may have noticed from Friday (July 25) that websites and apps you frequent might have started asking you to prove your age. New rules from the Online Safety Act have come into force, and it includes requiring ID verification for websites that contain pornography or other harmful content. However, while you may have anticipated the age checks being introduced on big-name porn sites, there are other popular websites or apps affected that might have caught you by surprise. Here are some of the sites that have introduced the new rules: Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad X (formerly Twitter) Reddit Discord Bluesky Grindr Pornhub - and other pornography websites BBC News reports that age verification checks on Reddit have been introduced across a wide range of subreddits - such as ones involving alcohol, as well as those dedicated to NSFW content. Technology Secretary Peter Kyle told BBC Newsbeat: 'We're very used to proving our age in lots of different areas of life at the moment, and it makes sense that we do so more assertively when it comes to online activity. "I think people actually think it's pretty weird that you are age checked when you want to buy a can of Monster, but you're not age checked when you access certain material online." Speaking to the Beeb, Reed Amber Thomas-Litman, a sex worker and educator, warned that the age checks could negatively impact people who don't feel confident sharing their identity, such as those in the LGBTQ+ community. It could go to third-party companies, and who knows what they'll do with that information." How does age verification work? Ahead of the introduction of the new rules, under the Online Safety Act, last week Ofcom explained how the system would work. The regulator explains: 'When you visit a site or app that allows pornography, you shouldn't be able to see this content before you're asked to confirm your age. 'To make the experience more accessible and transparent, you should be able to read a statement setting out the kinds of age checks that you can use, and how they work.' Internet users in the UK can use the following methods to prove their age, Ofcom has said. For example, you upload an image of a document that shows your face and age, and an image of yourself at the same time – these are compared to confirm if the document is yours. The exact method of age-checking may vary depending on the website or app. Reddit, for example, uses the Persona service, The Verge reports . Savvy internet users have already found ways around the checks, including using images of actor Norman Reedus from the video game Death Stranding - instead of their own faces. Demand for VPNs is also said to have 'skyrocketed' as it allows people to circumvent the rules by making it appear that they are using the internet outside the UK. In a bid to assuage concerns about privacy and security of information, Ofcom said: 'Strong age checks can be done effectively, safely, and in a way that protects your privacy. As with everything you do online, you should exercise a degree of caution and judgment when giving over personal information. 'Data protection in the UK is regulated and enforced by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). We work closely with the ICO and where we have concerns that a provider has not complied with data protection law, we may refer the matter to the ICO. Age checks to access online pornography are just the same. 'It will help stop children from encountering pornography online, in the same way that a child should not be able to simply walk into a shop and buy a pornographic DVD or magazine.'
