Boosie Badazz Accuses Cassie And Her Husband Of 'Masterminding Diddy's Take Down'

Yahoo20-05-2025

Boosie Badazz has shared his latest conspiracy theory about Sean 'Diddy' Combs' ongoing federal sex trafficking trial — this time claiming that Cassie and her husband Alex Fine 'masterminded' an entire plan to 'take down' Diddy and cash in along the way.
According to the Baton Rouge rapper, '[Cassie's] HUSBAND HAD BEEN TRYING TO GET HER TO DO THIS FOR YEARS TO DIDDY BUT SHE DIDNT WANT TO DO IT BECAUSE SHE KNEW WHAT WILL COME OUT.' He went on to suggest that financial pressure is what finally pushed them to act. 'THEN AS A COUPLE YALL [BECAME] BROKE,' he continued.
He even dragged Yung Miami into it, claiming Cassie was jealous after seeing her publicly support Diddy at an awards show. 'NOW THE PLOT BECOMES REALER BY THE MONTH !! I THINK THE LAST STRAW WAS THE DIDDY N CARESHA REALTIONSHIP. WHEN SHE SAW CARESHA WITH THAT SIGN SUPPORTING HER MAN AT THAT AWARDS THAT DID IT. A WOMAN SCORNED IS A DANGEROUS EVIL MF #yeahisaidit.'
Boosie's latest remarks follows Cassie revealing that she received $20,000,000 in a settlement from Diddy that was resolved 24 hours after announcing her lawsuit in 2023. She also admitted to receiving an additional $10,000,000 from InterContinental Hotel where the 2016 hotel hallway assault by Diddy took place.
Her husband, Alex Fine, has been steadfastly by her side throughout the trial and all of the public scrutiny and backlash. In a recent public statement, he pushed back against the swirling narratives — particularly the notion that he 'saved' Cassie.
'I did not save Cassie, as some have said. To say that is an insult to the years of painful work my wife has done to save herself,' he wrote. 'She alone broke free from abuse, coercion, violence, and threats. She did the work of fighting the demons that only a demon himself could have done to her. All I have done is love her as she has loved me.'

After years of silence, Cassie, né Cassandra Ventura, recently testified against her ex-lover with harrowing accounts of abuse, control, and what she describes as being coerced into participating in 'freak-offs.'
In emotional courtroom testimony, the singer and model — currently pregnant with her third child — revealed she was sometimes forced to take part in sex acts with escorts, even while battling UTIs and mouth sores. She also spoke on the constant physical abuse she received from Diddy for the most minuscule things.
'Sean would put his hands on me, he would push me down… kick me,' she told the courtroom. 'There were other times, if we were having a bad time or if I was scared of him, uncomfortable, typically I would leave and go out the back of the hotel. When we were having frequent 'freak-offs' — they were back to back — and sometimes I would do a 'freak-off' with the infection,' she added. 'I tried to flush it out with water. I got to the point where CIPRO (an antibiotic) didn't work anymore. It was a mess.'

Catch up on the Sean ‘Diddy' Combs trial so far

The federal trial of the United States of America v. Sean 'Diddy' Combs has captured much of the world's attention in its first four weeks in session. The prosecution is continuing to present its case, where it is seeking to prove Combs and some in his inner circle constituted a criminal enterprise that used threats, violence, kidnapping and other means to coerce women into 'Freak Offs' with male escorts and to protect his image. Combs has pleaded not guilty to charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. His defense has acknowledged Combs was violent but has questioned the motives of those testifying and has said the accusations fall short of the charges. If convicted on all counts, Combs could face up to life in prison. Here is what we've learned in testimony at this point in the trial, which is expected to continue on for several more weeks.

Diddy Asks Judge to Strike Kid Cudi Car Explosion Claims From the Record Amid Sex Trafficking Trial

Sean 'Diddy' Combs' defense team is seeking to strike Kid Cudi's claims about a 2012 car explosion — and Diddy's alleged involvement — from the record amid the disgraced star's ongoing sex trafficking trial. (Diddy has denied all the charges against him.) TMZ and People reported on Monday, May 26, that Diddy's team filed court documents to have a portion of Cudi's testimony struck, claiming that the "Day 'n' Nite" rapper's allegations about the 2012 incident were 'mere speculation' and posed 'significant dangers of unfair prejudice.' Diddy's team said a "witness generally cannot testify that in his opinion, a declarant was lying when making a statement,' referring to Cudi's claims on the stand last week that Diddy 'was lying' when he denied involvement in the explosion of his Porsche vehicle during a meeting in Los Angeles. Cudi — real name Scott Mescudi — took the stand during Diddy's ongoing trial on Thursday, May 22, and discussed his relationship with Diddy's ex and fellow trial witness, Cassie, with whom he had a relationship in 2011 while she and Diddy were on a break. (Diddy and Cassie dated on and off from 2007 to 2018.) A Complete Timeline of All the Allegations in the Diddy Trial: Freak Offs, Kid Cudi's Car and More Cudi said that in 2012, after he and Cassie had broken up, his dog sitter called him to tell him that his car was on fire. "The top of my Porsche was cut open and that's where they inserted the Molotov cocktail,' he testified. Following the car incident, Cudi alleged that he met up with Diddy at the Soho House in Los Angeles. 'Sean Combs was standing there with his hands behind his back like a Marvel supervillain,' Cudi claimed, adding that his fellow rapper said they were 'homies' and said he didn't understand why Cudi would date Cassie. 'He kept offering me water. It was weird that he was so calm,' Cudi continued, noting that he found Diddy's demeanor 'off-putting.' When Cudi asked him about the car, Diddy allegedly gave him a 'very cold stare' and replied, 'I don't know what you're talking about.' Years later, the two men had a second meeting at Soho House, where Diddy allegedly told Cudi he was sorry for the past. 'Man, I just want to apologize for everything, all that bulls***,' Cudi recalled Diddy saying, adding that the Sean John founder brought one of his daughters to the meeting. Why Kid Cudi's Dog Is a Point of Contention at Sean 'Diddy' Combs' Sex Trafficking Trial 'After that apology, I kind of came to peace with all of it,' Cudi told the court. 'That's the last thing I was expecting to get.' In her own trial testimony earlier in May, Cassie claimed that Diddy found out about her romance with Cudi in 2011 when he searched through her emails during a 'freak off' and found a correspondence between her and Cudi's team about bringing a toiletry bag to a house. Cassie alleged that Diddy subsequently lunged at her with a 'wine bottle opener.' Cassie also claimed that Diddy threatened to blow up Cudi's car and wanted Cudi's friends to be there to witness it. Diddy is currently on trial on charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all of the charges and denied all of the allegations against him.

Diddy Seeks Mistrial Over Testimony About Alleged Balcony Incident

Sean 'Diddy' Combs has once again requested a mistrial in his sex trafficking trial. The hip-hop mogul's lawyers asked the presiding judge to throw out the trial over their allegations that prosecutors presented false testimony, according to TMZ. The dispute arose from Cassie's friend Bryana "Bana" Bongolan alleging during her testimony on Wednesday, June 4, that Diddy once dangled her over the balcony of a Los Angeles building and then tossed her into nearby patio furniture. Diddy's lawyers said Cassie (real name Casandra Ventura) incorrectly testified in May that she'd seen Diddy, 55, holding Bongolan, 33, over the balcony. According to TMZ, Diddy's legal team provided text messages from Cassie to Diddy's employee Kristina Khorram, in which Cassie allegedly suggests she didn't actually witness the incident because she wrote: 'I just found out some crazy s***.' In addition to disputed testimony, Diddy contends that the photos of Bongolan were taken on a day when he was not in Los Angeles. U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian has yet to rule on Diddy's latest mistrial motion. He previously declined to throw out the case in May following a dispute over Cassie's ex-boyfriend Kid Cudi testifying about Diddy allegedly blowing up his car. Why Isn't the Diddy Trial Being Broadcast or Livestreamed? Why Some Court Cases Are Private Us Weekly has reached out to Cassie's representatives for comment. Bongolan reflected on her alleged confrontation with Diddy in September 2016 during her appearance at the Daniel Patrick Moynihan United States Courthouse in New York City earlier this week. She told the court that she and her girlfriend were sleeping on the couch in Cassie's Los Angeles apartment when her then-boyfriend Diddy allegedly started banging on the door. (Diddy and Cassie, 38, dated off and on from 2007 to 2018.) Bongolan recalled urging her girlfriend to hide in the bathroom, before walking out onto the balcony to 'act casual.' Once Diddy entered the apartment, he allegedly grabbed Bongolan from behind and 'lifted [her] up and then put [her] on top of the rail.' She remembered 'trying not to slip' over the balcony, while Diddy allegedly yelled at her, 'You know what the f*** you did.' Bongolan estimated that Diddy held her over the balcony for 15 seconds, leaving her with physical injuries as well as longer-term emotional effects like 'paranoia' and 'night terrors.' Diddy Asks Judge to Strike Kid Cudi Car Explosion Claims From the Record Amid Sex Trafficking Trial Under cross examination, Diddy's lawyer Nicole Westmoreland brought up apparent discrepancies in the testimony, pointing out that Bongolan told the court that she was smoking weed when she was allegedly attacked while she previously stated in a lawsuit that she was smoking a cigarette. (Bongolan sued Diddy last year, and he denied her claims in a statement via his lawyer.) Diddy was arrested in September 2024 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to all charges and has denied all of the allegations against him. 'We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney's Office,' Diddy's attorney Marc Agnifilo said in a statement at the time. 'He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal. To his credit Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.' Since his arrest, Diddy has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His four requests for bail were denied by Judge Subramanian. Diddy's arrest came nearly one year after his ex-girlfriend Cassie filed a lawsuit against him accusing him of sexual and physical abuse throughout their relationship, which lasted off and on from 2007 to 2018. The mogul denied her claims in a statement shared by his attorney. 'Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations,' Diddy's lawyer Ben Brafman said at the time. Inside the Courtroom Dynamic Between Diddy, Cassie and Her Husband Alex Fine as She Testifies One day after the suit was filed, Diddy and Cassie settled out of court. In May 2024, CNN published a hotel surveillance video of Diddy kicking and grabbing Cassie in 2016. He later apologized for his actions in a video shared via Instagram.
