Horse racing tips: ‘Great mark on her favourite quick ground' – Templegate's NAP to scoot home at Nottingham

TEMPLEGATE takes on Tuesday's racing looking for winners.

CASTRO AURUM (4.02 Nottingham, nap)
Made a winning return to action when stepping up to a mile at Bath. Darryll Holland's filly finished her race off well so this extra two furlongs should not be a bother. Her handicap mark of just 73 is more than workable and she can take advantage of that today on the quick ground she loves.
GINCIDENT (2.10 Lingfield, nb)
Is bang in form and is the pick of these on their form on turf. Trainer James Owen can do little wrong these days and his five-year-old was beaten less than a couple of lengths on his first try at this trip here ten days ago.
URBAN SPRAWL (3.40 Lingfield, treble)
Put in a fine shift in a tough handicap at York last week. He has winning form here on the all-weather track and this looks a good opportunity.

Lambourn stuns red-hot favourite Delacroix to land master trainer Aidan O'Brien an 11th Derby

AIDAN O'BRIEN'S No2 Lambourn stunned his big hope Delacroix to land the Derby - as a load of the big guns flopped in the £1.5million Epsom blockbuster. Lambourn, who was sent off 13-2, hit the front early and was never for catching under loyal jockey Wayne Lordan. Advertisement Ryan Moore never really got into it on red-hot favourite Delacroix and finished ninth, beaten 16 lengths. And, for once, the world's best jockey had to play second best to Lordan - who he beat into second in the Oaks on Friday. There was a huge result for syndicate Middleham Park as their 50-1 Lazy Griff, trained by Charlie Johnston, came second. While Aidan's son Joseph was third with 28-1 Tennessee Stud. Advertisement Juddmonte had the fourth home with 50-1 New Ground. O'Brien said: "Wayne gave him an incredible ride - he is a great fella and has done so much hard work throughout the years. "The horse is very straightforward and Wayne knew he would stay. "I'm delighted for Wayne and couldn't be happier. Advertisement Most read in Horse Racing "The lads put in everything and I am just delighted to be on their coat tails!" More to follow.
