Justin Bieber's former friends think he's part of a cult
NEW YORK — Justin Bieber's former friends claim the pop star is in the clutches of a cult and that his Churchome pastor holds undue influence over the singer's life.
Pastor Judah Smith meanwhile challenged the cult claim, quipping to TMZ's new 'What Happened to Justin Bieber?' documentary: 'What kind of a cult only meets once a month?'
Insiders allege that the 'Love Yourself' crooner, 31, cut ties with best man and former collaborator Ryan Good after the latter left the Beverly Hills megachurch that he deemed a cult. Good was the creative director for Bieber's Drew House label — with which the pop star also severed ties last month.
In April, TMZ referred to the 'culty' relationship between Bieber and Smith. According to the new documentary, the pair interrogated Good about his sex life and antagonized Bieber's former manager Scooter Braun about not believing in Jesus. Braun is Jewish.
The Kardashians, Chris Pratt and wife Katherine Schwarzenegger, as well as Ciara and Russell Wilson have also been linked to Churchome.
Also reported in the documentary are claims that Bieber was on the brink of 'financial collapse' when he sold his music catalog a little over two years ago.
Similar claims were made in a recent story published by The Hollywood Reporter. Bieber's camp denied the allegations.

Victoria Song Say Drake... I hear you like your Nokias... blung? Listen, it's early and I'm not Kendrick. However, behold this iced-out Nokia phone and wallet chain that jeweler Alex Moss made for Drake's Some Sexy Songs 4 U album. Hypebeast has the details but apparently this project took four months to complete and has over 150 carats of diamonds. I think this counts as a wearable.

Today's NYT Mini Crossword Clues And Answers For Friday, May 30
Mini Crossword In case you missed Thursday's NYT Mini, you can find the answers here: The NYT Mini is a quick and dirty version of the newspaper's larger and long-running crossword. Most days, there are between three and five clues in each direction on a five by five grid, but the puzzles are sometimes larger, especially on Saturdays. Unlike its larger sibling, the NYT Mini crossword is free to play on the New York Times website or NYT Games app. However, you'll need an NYT Games subscription to access previous puzzles in the archives. The NYT Mini is a fun daily distraction that usually takes no time at all. I try to beat the standard weekday grid in less than a minute. But sometimes I can't quite figure out one or two clues and need to reveal the answer. But even when I did, they bounced me around between several and I eventually got exhausted and hung up. Anyway, the rest of the puzzle is less fatigue inducing, except I had trouble with ZEROG. What the heck is ZEROG? Then, I felt like an idiot as I realized it was Zero G, of course it was. Zerog is not a thing. Hopefully you knew that. Follow me on Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram.
