Emmerdale fans convinced they've worked out Joe Tate's ‘real killer' – and it's not who you'd expect

EMMERDALE fans think they have worked out the 'real killer' of Joe Tate after his horror fall from a Home Farm window.
The ITV soap launched a classic whodunnit last night with fans now speculating as to who could be the mystery assailant.

Throughout the hour-long episode, viewers saw as many of Joe's enemies all gathered at Home Farm as part of a 50th birthday party for Lydia Dingle - who ironically did not feature in the episode at all.
He clashed with Charity, Noah, Dawn, Billy, Caleb and Kerry to name just a few.
With his secrets and lies on the verge of being exposed - he was left as public number one.
However, fans of Emmerdale think that the culprit is someone else altogether - and she wasn't even at the party.
They have speculated that Clemmie Reed - the adopted daughter of Dawn could in fact be the pusher.
Clemmie was included on an official list of suspects released by ITV but it seemed unlikely that she would be able to overpower Joe enough to haul him out of a window.
One fan said of Clemmie's potential involvement: "As for who attacked Joe my money is on Clemmie!"
Another added: "Got a feeling it was Clemmie pushed Joe out the window."
As a third said: "I hope Clemmie pushed him out of that window tbh."
Before a fourth penned: "I reckon Clemmie did it. And good for her."
Watch the moment Emmerdale's Dr Liam is whacked over the head in unprovoked attack - but he has no idea who did it?
Earlier in the week, Clemmie and Joe came to blows when she revealed she had spotted him kissing Dawn.
In order to get her to keep her mouth shut, Joe threatened her during a furious war of words and insisted she would be placed back in care.
It led Clemmie to bite him in anger and although Joe tried to bribe her to keep quiet, she eventually spilled all on the affair to her heartbroken step-dad, Billy.

It comes as we can reveal TV presenter Jeff, 46, has a court date in his legal fight to stop Freddy from seeing Jackiey amid concerns over his welfare. A family friend said: ' Jeff and Freddy are in regular contact with each other - probably more than most dads and their adult children. 'They talk a lot and spend plenty of time together. 'Jeff just wants the best for his son and the door is always open for him. "Jackiey's influence over Freddy is harmful to his overall wellbeing. 'It's very sad that a grandmother continues to try and lead him astray.' On Friday Freddy, who starred with Jeff in the BBC's Celebrity Race Across The World, revealed he's going to rehab in Spain for cannabis, saying he 'wants a healthy relationship with his dad'. He wrote: 'I've been smoking from the age of 12 and it's time to stop, it was a bad coping mechanism that turned into an addiction.' Last month, thrilled Jeff, also a trained talking therapist, revealed that Freddy and brother Bobby, 21, had come to the family home to celebrate his birthday. The boys came home and slept in their own beds.' Jeff, who is a regular presenter on This Morning, revealed earlier this year that Jade was still badly missed 16 years on. He said: 'To lose the mother of your children is a huge trauma that, of course, shapes your life. 'It comes down to the fact that we need her. It's not just about missing her, we need her as a mother at the moment, and we always have done, in all honesty.' 6 6 6 Jeff and Freddy were on ITV together last month, presenting This Morning's competition segment from Malta. Jeff joked: 'He sat in as an apprentice to see how it all works. At first, he was on light reflector duty, and then he was about to take my job, so I am glad that it came to an end.
