The Curry name has been a part of NBA history for nearly 40 years. Dell Curry had an illustrious career, playing for five teams over 16 seasons, while
Stephen Curry has become a legend in his own right, holding the current record for most three-pointers ever scored in an NBA career. But who is Steph's lesser-known little brother, Seth Curry?

In recent years, nepotism within the NBA has been a hot topic. Between two-time MVP
Giannis Antetokounmpo's brother Thanasis getting a contract with his brother's team, the Milwaukee Bucks, in 2019, to fans questioning whether LeBron James' eldest son Bronny deserves to be put on the roster for Los Angeles Lakers in 2024, audiences are becoming increasingly critical about players being given advantages that are not based on merit.

This, however, does not seem to be a concern for the Curry men. Despite his father and brother's success, Seth has managed to prove that he's rightfully earned a place in the league.
What else do we know about Seth Curry?

Seth Curry, who played at Duke University for the Duke Blue Devils, had a successful NCAA run, but after graduating in 2013, went undrafted. Later that year, he was acquired by the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA G League, the sport's development league.
Since then, Curry has been traded frequently. Unlike his brother, who's played for the
Golden State Warriors his entire career, Seth has played for a handful of teams in both the West Coast and East Coast conferences, even landing with the Dallas Mavericks three times: in the 2016-2018 season, then 2019-2020, and again in the 2023-2024 season. He currently plays for the Charlotte Hornets.

Death threats, cancer wish: the vile abuse angry gamblers aim at tennis players online

Angry gamblers were responsible for 40 per cent of abuse directed at tennis players on social media last year and actively targeted athletes via direct messages, a report published on Tuesday found. The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) and the International Tennis Federation (ITF) called on the gambling industry to tackle the issue after conducting the first season-wide report outlining the scale of abuse directed at players online. Data from Signify Group's Threat Matrix service found that from January to December 2024, about 8,000 abusive, violent or threatening messages were directed at 458 tennis players via social media. 'Online abuse is unacceptable, and something that no player should have to endure,' Jessica Pegula, a member of the WTA Players' Council, said. 'It's time for the gambling industry and social media companies to tackle the problem at its source and act to protect everyone facing these threats.' Jessica Pegula wants gambling companies to do more to protect players from abuse. China basketball teen sensation Zhang Ziyu ‘best player I've ever seen', coach says

Japan will be the latest team to get a close look at China women's teenage basketball sensation Zhang Ziyu, who was labelled 'the best player I have ever seen' by one overawed opponent last weekend. Advertisement China and Japan, who are ranked fourth and ninth in the world respectively, clash in a friendly in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, on Wednesday, as part of their preparations for next month's Fiba Asia Cup. Zhang made her senior team debut in a warm-up match against Bosnia and Herzegovina last Friday, and played in a second encounter on Sunday. The 7ft 5in (2.26-metre) centre chipped in 34 points and 14 rebounds in just over 27 minutes across the two matches. She had a team-high 18 points and seven boards in 12 minutes as the hosts won the first encounter 101-55, and two days later the 18-year-old was instrumental in a 124-57 thrashing, scoring 16 points and adding seven rebounds. Despite being limited by new head coach Gong Luming to 15 minutes per match, Zhang's dominance, especially in the paint, hardly went unnoticed.

Thunder on brink of NBA title after game five win

Thunder on brink of NBA title after game five win Jalen Williams scored a playoff career-high of 40 points in the Thunder's victory. Photo: Reuters Jalen Williams erupted for 40 points as the Oklahoma City Thunder held off the Indiana Pacers to score a 120-109 victory and move to within one win of clinching the NBA Finals. An enthralling game-five battle in Oklahoma saw the Pacers climb out of an 18-point first-half hole to get within two of the Thunder in the fourth quarter. But just as Indiana threatened the latest in a series of trademark comebacks, the Thunder found an extra gear with Williams and NBA Most Valuable Player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander steering the team to a pivotal victory. The win put the Thunder 3-2 up in the best-of-seven series, meaning they can seal the NBA crown with victory in game six in Indianapolis on Thursday. Williams finished with a career playoff high of 40 points, along with six rebounds and four assists, while Gilgeous-Alexander co-starred with 31 points, 10 assists, four blocks and two steals. Pascal Siakam led the Indiana charge with 28 points but the Pacers were left sweating on the health of star point guard Tyrese Haliburton after the loss. Haliburton, whose fitness has been under a cloud since game two of the series, left the game in the first quarter with a right calf problem before returning later in the contest. The Pacers talisman finished with just four points from a bitterly disappointing outing – all of them coming from free throws – as the Thunder's vaunted defence clamped down on the Pacers. (AFP)
